4 CHAPTER 4

'clang! clang! oh dear son! what happened to you, are you fine?' 'father! is that you? father! ' ' yes my dear son! it's me. 'father! what happened to you? why you're so sad? ' 'it's nothing dear. it's just I'm tired, I can't go further with you any more, I will have to stop going further. now you will have to continue your journey without me and your mom.' 'mom! where is she?' 'oh she stopped a long back, now I too have to stop. take care of yourself and believe me, you can do anything you want. oh son! you are the most valuable thing I have ever gotten in this life. trust me nothing is important than you are. ..... . (sigh) .... now I will have to go back and you continue your journey alone from here ' ' WHAT?! NO! NEVER ... father stop! where are you going? please stop..... please don't go.... please... don't leave me alone..... (sobbing) I am alone without you and mom please come back to me..... please.... please ..... ple..... '

' Mr. clang! Mr. clang! what happened? Mr. clang are you fine? Mr. clang open your eyes.', Petray worriedly tries to make clang woke up when he heard clang sobbing and shouting something. clang wakes up and he found himself covered in tears and sweat. he got up. ' what happened to u Mr. clang, did you saw something? ', Petray asked worriedly. 'no! nothing. ', clang answered and tried to go back to his lab when Petray said, 'yesterday! ....' (pause).... 'hmm!', clang responded. Petray continued with a deep breath,' yesterday, did something happened to you? cause when I came back after completing the mission of planet RPS22. that time I found you laying on the ground and it was a mess in your room. and the most surprising thing is that I detected particles in room. is that because you accidentally activated one or u don't know how it activated? and what did you do to Kara? why she was deactivated? just now I activated her. what happened yesterday? is there any defect in her functioning? tell me everything .... ' 'wha... what! she got deactivated? .... oh! ya actually that time I wanted to stay alone for some time that's why I deactivated her. there is no defect in her functioning she is functioning much better than my expectations... ', clang answered Petray while looking towards the sky full of planets moons and stars. ' are you sure Mr. clang that nothing happened yesterday?' 'oh! yes Petray. don't worry, it was nothing.' Petray left with these words and a smile which can comfort the unknown pain present inside clang's heart.

clang started walking step by step towards his lab. the more closer he got the more he started getting lost in his thoughts. everything flashed up in front of his eyes again, everything what happened yesterday, everything which he never expected, everything which is so unusual for him to accept.

FLASH BACK AFTER PETRAY LEFT WITH THE PARTICLE USER:

Petray left in hurry along with manty to deliver the particle user to planet RPS22. clang sighed in relief and tuned towards his table to keep the other particle users aside so that when proper time will come they can use it. while arranging the things he got a letter from the case given by Petray. the letter was most probably written by clang's father. when clang took it to read he got shocked, it was written by this father. clang started reading it out - go to the end of the universe and destroy all these information I have given you so that they won't be able to get anything. after our death never let clang encounter them. they will think everything got destroyed with us. this is the last thing we can wish you to do Petray please this is your last job in your life keep clang safe. I know it's hard for you to leave me and protect others just think now that clang is your new master so help him. clang took the letter and placed it on a table, took a shrink gun (used to destroy or clear out something forever), (...boom ..) fired it. he trusted Petray, whatever Petray did till today was everything for his sake. now, he don't want to ask him, what all he knows and why he didn't told him about this letter, because even his father at his last moment trusted him blindly. he knows his father has never been wrong regarding anything. so he won't doubt on his father's decision. but now at least one thing is clear that his parents didn't died in any accident. they were being killed because of that experiment on which they were working on. he kept the gun aside and looked out of the window through the tech glass (these are not like normal glasses they have sensors in them, they are resistant to shock, rays, bombs every single thing discovered till that day.) that was the first time after so many days he was watching the clam sky of his planet. while looking towards the sky he started thinking, at last he got an end to start with for the death of his father and mother. but suddenly something popped up in his mind, what was the experiment on which his parents were working on? and how come even after knowing that they will be killed why his parents didn't do anything to protect themselves or why they didn't stopped the experiment? why? Why? ..... questions started flooding in his mind taking him deeper and deeper in his thoughts about everything.. why? why?....... SUDDENLY .. ' Mr. clang ', a very appealing and attracting voice pulled him out all of his thoughts. he got Goosebumps with that one word. he turned around to his back. but while turning back he hit something with his hands. clang turned his head to the side to look, what was it? then, 'OH NO ', came out of his mouth subconsciously, he accidentally bumped his hand with one of the particle user , it almost fell down . clang hurriedly took few steps towards the particle user and lean down to catch it but it was too late to hold it back. instead, because of clang's fingers, which touched the activating point, the particle user got activated and ' BOOM ' clang was shocked for about 1 sec. when he realised the situation after 1 sec he hurried to check all the devices, computers and all robots in function. everything has stopped, nothing is working. he remembered that now for 30 secs nothing is gone work he looked around, everything seemed to be stop as if time has stopped. he looked towards the door of his lab ' thanks god! at least it is closed ' clang thought, as he knew that the walls of his lab are been designed by his father in such a way that no radiation, particle or rays nothing can cross it, same goes to the whole house. clang was tensed to thinking that what if Petray will come inside now, what will happen? he became little tensed by thinking about it. he sat down on his chair. he put his hands on his temple wondering what to do next? when he again heard the same sweet voice calling his name again ' Mr. clang? Mr. clang! ' clang got shocked and started looking all around. everywhere it seemed still, he thought maybe he is hearing things because he is too tired after spending almost a tiring night to work on that particle user. he closed his eyes for a sec and then again ' Mr. clang! ' the same voice. he can't hallucinate this badly. he opened his eyes and his eyes followed the voice and they stopped near his robot Kara. 'Kara?! ' clang told softly. Kara moved a step towards him and her eyes were filled with emotions which didn't seemed to be a robot's eyes, it's just like human's eyes. ' Mr. clang! ' Kara started moving continuously little by little steps towards clang. clang went completely blank by looking at his robot functioning in the particle scattered zone. ' how can she function in a particle scattered zone? what the hack is happening here?' slipped out of clang's mouth while looking everywhere to search a clue of what is going on in front of him. ' Mr. clang ' Kara was standing in front of clang. clang just let himself go with the flow for a moment as he was clueless about what is happening. 'Kara! ' clang said softly. Kara looked at him. she held clang's face in between her hands and then she bent down slowly making an eye contact with him. for some reason clang was able to see the pain of her heart, the happiness of being here and the love, which is slowly taking birth in her heart, which wants to claim clang as her owner, which wants to change clang's life forever. Kara lean more towards clang, she planted a soft and warm kiss on clang's forehead. clang's eye was almost closed, he never felt something so good so heart-warming. his heart was beating so fast that he could hear every single beat clearly, his body felt like they are going under some new evolution. he can feel as if some new sensations are getting supplied to his whole body though his nerves. he was almost lost in thoughts, in his world of dreams. the world he never thought of, the new world he is feeling. the world where he wants to stay forever after . But for some reason his eyes they filled with tears . He felt an unknown pain . The pain which is hurting his heart badly as if someone is slowly putting a knife inside his heart.
