8 Woman's POV

We arrived at the location the man who promised to help me, gave me. This time I called the police to make sure, and if it were true then that would be best.

I couldn't live without my daughter. She was the whole reason I pushed through with life, and now she experienced things that would haunt her forever and it was my fault.

I shouldn't have neglected for her, money cannot buy happiness. Money isn't everything, I should've paid more attention to her and it'll only cost me some of my time.

The police dispatched only a few officers, since they doubted the credibility of my information. But it doesn't matter. I only wanted my baby back.

The police stormed the old building, and after a few minutes. I heard at the police comm, 'Its clear sir'! no hostiles. But we've found at the least 3 bodies. There were signs of gunfight and I could guess there was probably an explosion'

I was anxious, scared and feared the news that they would say they found a little girls dead body.

Another beep and the heard the police report, 'Sir we seem to have found another dead body and... sir we have found her daughter' The police in the comm reported, his voice was solemn when we he got to the found her daughter part.

My eyes grew wide. Every second without my baby was agonizing. My thoughts went back to the encounter when my daughter cried at the van.

My heart broke, as I guessed to what must have happened while she was in their filthy hands.

I spoke while tears run down my face, 'Sir please let me go there. She needs me. My little girl needs me!'

'Is the building clear?'

'Yes sir!'

The police in charge nodded and turned towards the other policemen. 'One of you escort her upstairs, make sure she's safe' One of them saluted and run after me, who already ran the before the leader spoke.

I ran towards the building. Climbing up the stairs almost slipping when I got to the 2nd. What awaited me, was a gory scene of flesh and blood. I almost vomited at the sight, but only gulped it back down.

I turned towards the cop who followed me. 'What floor was she in?' I asked.

'Its the 4th' He replied.

I turned towards the stairs to the 3rd and climbed up once more.

Then I was finally at the 4th floor. I almost felt dizzy but despite this my mind was only filled by the thoughts of my daughter.

There was an old bed in the 4th, and a little figure lay on it. I carefully approached the figure and silently cried.

'I'm sorry baby. Mommy is here and will never leave you again!' I whispered while tears dropped down my cheeks and into the floor.

I lay by my daughter and held her hand. Her fear stricken face gradually got better and she suddenly looked peaceful.

While grasping the hand of my daughter, I turned towards the other cops in the room.

'So who is this guy?' One of them said.

'There's not a single data on him, on the information provided by the government' Another curiously said.

I looked to over what or whom they speak about, and recognize the face of the man who called me. The man who appeared out of nowhere and said he would help me. and He really did it.

He looked so young. I never noticed his face awhile ago, but looking closely now. He looked like a kid. Somewhere around 13 or 16 years old, and just like that he died as easily as he said he would rescue my little girl.

My dry eyes due to the constant tears once again forced tears out of its sockets, my heart grew heavy at the lost.

'I'm sorry' Closing my eyes, I took in this moment. I will tell them what you did, you saved my daughter and I will always remember what you did.
