11 Scheming

November start, cold slowly spread in the castle. Walking in the corridor became a hard challenge. Only the crazy one will walk in the corridor at night.

It will soon be the start of the Quidditch at Hogwarts so Harry become very busy, training in secret. Thank to Hermione the homework of Harry & Ron were done faster. Yes faster, not just done like the original. Although Alexander try to not change the plot line to much otherwise no "Golden Trio". He still make the two boys study properly, at the start of school. So they didn't become a burden for Hermione and they relationship was more harmonious.

Alexander was currently having a secret talk with the Weasley Twins.

"How do you""Know the existence""Of this map ?"

"Well, I can read mind" reply Alexander with a straight face.

The three looked at each others for a moment and laugh.

"No, more seriously it was just a guess, from Hagrid mouth, you are both very mischief and rarely caught, so I deduct that you ether way for your entire first year look at every wall trying to find secret passage or you got the help of something, an object perhaps a map."

'Damn, what a random of bullshit...'

The twins were a little surprised by the deduction of Alexander. They look at each other and nodded

"Follow us", the trio end up in the room of the twins.

Fred took a old parchment from under his bed and show give it to Alexander.

Th parchment was old, yellow but in a very good state.

"It's an incredible map""That we found a the office of Filch""In our first year"

George took is wand out and with the tip, touch the parchment and said

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

After this line, dark red ink start to appear,

Alexander slowly open the map and he the inside of the castle, with ink foots with name following it, walking in the corridors, class and other room.

"Everyone.""Where they are""What they're doing""Every minute""Every day."

"I love magic" mutter Alexander, he saw Pettigrew near Ron in the common room, before the twins could see it he ask how to close the map.

Fred point touch the map with his wand and said

"Mischief managed", the ink start to disappear and what left was just a old parchment.

"Thanks Fred, George, as a gift let me show you something"

The twins puzzle follow Alexander.

They end up at the highest point of the Grand Staircase, with some trouble along the way.

"So why are we here Alexander ?" ask George.

"Well you know, those stairs are quite tricky, most of the times you will end up losing time"

Alexander look down to see if the coast is clear.

"So there is solution, the founder put a magic in the Grand Staircase.

"What is it" ask the twins, happy to learn something new

"Well, when you don't have time to wait, you just jump" and without waiting for the answer Alexander make a leap of faith under the incredulous eyes of the twins he made a free fall of dozens of meters and near the ground, a force just bounce him back gently and he touche the ground without problem, he look up and signal the twins it was ok.

After a few minute he heard the twins screaming will falling.

"So, it's fun right ?"

"TOTALLY !!!" they wanted to try again but was stop by Alexander because Filch was were so they exit the Grand Staircase.

Midnight, the Room of Requirement, Alexander was sitting in front of desk, writing something in a parchment...

'Mhh, Now that I have the Marauder's map, tracing Peettigrew won't be a problem if he escape the trap. But when should I start ? Christmas Holiday's ? Or after Quirrell is out ?'

After pondering a moment, he decide to apply his plan in Christmas.

'Less people, Pettigrew will stay in the Gryffindor Tower because of the cold... I will need to put a lot of strong protection inside the common room. I don't want the fight to blow the Tower nor the Room... I will need to act quickly, not letting the time to react, it's for the best...'

After pondering a few more, he exit the room and go straight to the Headmaster office.

In the office Dumbledore look at Alexander with a puzzle look.

"It pass Midnight Alexander, I hope you have a good reason to come see me"

Alexander smile and start to talk.

After dozens of minutes, Alexander left the Headmaster Office with a big smile. At the common room before going to slept he start casting spell around the common room. Of course those spell are not actif. It will take a lot of night to complete this. Finishing for today he go to the direction of his room to sleep.
