6 Flying lessons or War ?

During the tea time at Hagrid hut, they talked about the first week, what's good and bad.

Alexander looked at the rock-cake that Hagrid offers.

'I am sure, you can kill Voldemort with this'

Ron was crying and holding is the chin.

After some more talked they leave Hagrid It was time soon time to eat.

The weekend pass by, Alexander passing most of his time in the library of the Room of Requirement under the questioning gaze of Harry and Ron. Today was the flying lessons for the first year. Everyone was excited and already imagining in the sky. During the breakfast, Hermione provides a lot of tips for flying that she read in the book.

Only Neville was listening to the entire time. But the conversation was cut short when the Owls arrives. As usual, Alexander didn't and was reading a charming book borrow from a senior student until he heard a lot of exclamation. Neville got a [Remembrall], it's a crystal ball that contains a smoke turning red if you forgot something. Of course, Neville forgot something but couldn't remember...

Of course, Draco passing by could not resist making trouble but was interrupted when Professor McGonagall arrives.

At the cour outside the Slytherin and Gryffindor were in front of each other with a broom next to them just waiting for the Professor.

She arrives, Madam Hooch. She had short, gray hair, and yellow eyes like a hawk.

"Well, what are yo u al l waiting for?" she barked.

"Everyone stand by a broomstick. Come on, hurry up."

Alexander glanced down at his broom. It was old and some of the twigs stuck out at odd angles. "Stick out your right hand over your broom," called Madam Hooch at the front

"And say 'Up!' "

"UP!" everyone shouted.

Different reaction occurs, for Draco and Harry both the broom stood up immediately, for Ron it was trembling and for Neville, Hermione and Alexander, theirs brooms completely ignore them.

'Well no wonder, I don't like riding broom... I still remember when I try the toy broom of Harry and end up crashing in a wall...'

After this test, everyone was ready for the next action.

Madam Hooch then showed them how to mount their brooms without sliding off the end, and walked up and down the rows correcting their grips. Harry and Ron were delighted when she told Malfoy been doing it wrong for years.

"Now, when I blow my whistle, you kick off from the ground hard," said Madam Hooch.

"Keep your brooms steady, rise a few feet, and then come straight back down by leaning forward slightly. On my whistle — three — two —"

But Neville and a boy from Slytherin end up screwing things up. They both get beyond control, even the scream of Madam Hooch was completely ignored. They crash in each other breaking the two brooms, they fall near the castle wall. The Slytherin was able to reduce the fall with the torch of the wall but Neville was in complete free fall. Alexander quickly cast a levitation charm at Neville slowing down is fall but was still hurt.

Madame Hooch takes the two boys with some help to the infirmary, threatening anyone try to fly without her watch and give 20 points for Gryffindor because of Alexander saving Neville.

Like the original, Malfoy play the douchebag and Harry the hero will Alexander was pondering.

'Well, who was that guy? it's should not have happened... A butterfly effect but where ?'

"Watch out !" He heard the warning of Hermione and sensing a spell behind he made a side roll and turn toward the Slytherin group.

A boy looking like the owner who just fell was pointing is wand at him.

"You save this dumbass but why not my brother !" ask the furious Slytherin

"Why should I ?" Alexander slowly took his wand.

"You-" Before he could finish he receive a spell from Ron and start to have pustules all over his body.

With this spark, Freshmen war begin. Spells from both side flash, among the Gryffindor, Hermione was the most fierce.

'Well, a bookworm as his advantage' Alexander launch a [Protego] on himself and look at the fight. The Gryffindor was loosing, after most of the Slytherin were pure-blood and knew more spell even if they were weak. Soon people start to this Alexander perfectly fine so they start to launch every spell they could at him.

'Well, it's a beautiful firework... Time to fight'

He reinforces is [Protego] for the first wave of fireworks, after the multitude of impact he starts attacking will moving.

[Stupefy], [Petrificus Totalus], [Mucus ad Nauseam], [Calvorio], [Locomotor Mortis], [Slugulus Eructo] and many other, he also transforms the ground in metal chain binding the students trying to run. Of course...

Looking at this spectacle, Alexander nod happy of his prowess while the rest of the students looked at him with dropped jaw, fear, and awe in their eyes.

Harry and Malfoy get back, of coure Harry won but before he could enjoy his winning he was completely shocked by the scene on the cour and before he could ask what happened he heard the furious roar of Professor McGonagall.

"ARE YOU ALL INSANE ?! FRESHMEN ATTACKING EACH OTHER !!! IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE !!! YOU YOU YOU !!!!"

The students of both Houses try to blame the others.

"ENOUGH !!!! EACH STUDENTS DEDUCT VERY MUCH !!! THOSE WHO CAN STILL WALK SEND THE OTHER TO INFIRMARY !!! Harry Potter! Follow me !"

'Why me....' complain Harry but still follow the Professor...

'Alexander wanted to laugh but restraint himself' He turns toward the member of his house ignoring the rest of people and cast a levitation charm to people who could not move.

In the corridor students from others, class looked at a stream of floating people behind a young boy with a punk-rock style hair. Of course, it was Alexander.

At the infirmary, Madam Pomfrey was completely mad and shocked. She even starts to threatening some of the students if they ever come back hurt.

The next morning, Alexander was eating his breakfast with Harry and the rest of the First year. The rest isolate them and except him, everyone wears a grim face.

"Do you have still the envy to eat ?" asked Hermione upset

"Why ?"

"Why ?! Look !" She points her finger a the hourglasses of Gryffindor. It's where you can see how many points your house as but currently it was empty, same for Slytherin.

Alexander just shrugged and continue to eat. Today and they were confined in the common room.

The senior reprimand them except Fred & George and Professor McGonagall was mad...

By the way, Harry was still chosen as the Seeker for the team of Gryffindor but nobody had the time to care...

At the end of the day, after a lot of writing punishment, principally Transformation homework, Professor McGonagall reunites the rest of Gryffindor his the Common room. The first years lowered their heads except for Alexander. The Professor starts to reprimand them until she saw Alexander yawning.

"Don't you care Mr. Potter ?"

Alexander looks at the Professor and smile.

"Why for the lost points? We can just earn them back," he says and turns serious for is next word

"But we can't lose the honor of the House, so what you will have preferred? Seeing all you student receiving all the spell will doing nothing but keep the points or fight back and win ?"

The first years looked at him with awes, the senior was surprised by his speech and Professor McGonagall was smiling.

"He's right""to beats them all""and losing points"totally worth it !!" say the Weasley twins.

After a few minutes of whispering, Professor McGonagall start to applaud

"I was going to say the same thing but it seems that Mr. Potter thinks like me. Yes, points are important but the Honor of the House is even more. When you attack the Lion be ready for his fury !"

With the applaud of the Professor, the situation starts to change. The seniors approach the first years and start to talk, applaud and congratulate them. Some seniors also gather together thinking who to regain those points. After this, a party was held, making the wall of the Tower tremble.

The next morning, Alexander enter the Great Hall for the breakfast and see the first years of Slytherin still isolated, well what's left of them because Alexander has done a good job. At the Gryffindor table, he saw Harry and Ron wearing a grim look.

"What happened to the both of you ?"

"Well..." Harry started to explain the situation. The lovely Malfoy strict again! But this time he asks for a Wizard Duel, Ron accepts before Harry could respond, the fight will be held at Midnight.

Of course, Hermione heard the conversation and start to be a bother.

'If I recall correctly, Draco doesn't show up, warn Filch, they end up losing more point and had a face to face with Fluffy. Should I go ?'

"Mr. Potter ?" Professor McGonagall appears behind the twins, out of habit they both respond at the same time.

"Which one ?" Professor McGonagall smiled at this and point at Alexander.

"Follow me please"

Alexander Follow the Professor and came back a few minutes after and under the questioning eyes of Harry and Ron he explains.

"Well, Professor Dumbledore wants to see me, so Professor McGonagall tell me where are his office and the password for entering."

They were shocked but quickly dismiss it. They start to talk about the duel, creating technique and other things.

'Well, I can't go with them but I still provide some help' So he secretly pass is invisibility cloak to Harry and made Neville remember the password of the Gryffindor Tower.

Midnight came and Alexander was in front of the principal office. The office is guarded by a large and ugly stone gargoyle which rarely talks but is capable of doing so. Alexander look at the gargoyle and said the password "Acid Pops".

The gargoyle start ton animate herself, look at Alexander and tell him to wait. She disappear in a tunnel on the wall. A minute pass and the gargoyle came back allowing Alexander to enter. He walk into a large circular stairs and arrive at a door, before knocking he heard a gentle "enter". The office is circular, with a lot of weird object, stick to the wall there is a lot of bookshelf. On the wall there were also the portraits of the ancient Headmaster of Hogwarts. Of course the portrait are animated, because they are currently looking at Alexander.

He didn't saw Fox, probably wandering outside, the sorting hat was sleeping on top of a bookshelf. Professor Dumbledore is sitting in is seat, looking a Alexander with a gentle smile.

"Good night Alexander, please take a seat"

Alexander sat himself in front of the desk looking at the Greatest wizard of this time while he launch his Occlumency.

"Tea?" asked Professor Dumbledore, but it was more an order because the teacup was moving on is own serving the both of them.

"Thank you", they start to drink in silence looking at each other in the eyes.

Professor Dumbledore broke the silence.

"You are probably wondering why I ask you to come?"

"It's about the First Years war? "

"Exactly, this event has made quite uproar, complain from parents, the [Daily Prophet] asking question, I was well occupied this week" He just smile like he didn't care of this "war"

"And among the students, you were the one who injure the most of people. Brilliant demonstration of a magic duel I must say and your Transfiguration was perfect. But alas, you need to receive a proper punishment" The Professor smile except for last part.

Alexander just reply "I understand Professor"

Dumbledore took a paper and start writing on it and gave it to Alexander. Alexander looked at the paper and was shocked. It's a paper allowing him to enter the restricted section at the Library.

Dumbledore smile looking at the reaction of Alexander and with an amused tone he said

"Your punishment is to read the book of the restricted section and not be corrupted by their power especially those with Dark Magic, you must very careful! »

Taking what just happened, Alexander with a serious face "Yes Professor!"

Drinking a little more tea, Alexander left the Headmaster Office. Still floating on his own cloud when he arrive a the common room, he saw his brother and Ron with a fearful look.

He approach them and ask what happened.

Harry start telling the story of this night.

Of course Malfoy didn't show up at the trophy room, only Filch so the four of them run. You say Four ? Yes Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville ! Yes Neville was here but not because he forget the password but because of the deed of Alexander during the flying class which inspire him and gave him courage follow them.

Hermione follow them because will trying to stop them, they end up outside the common room and the fat lady was not in the portrait.

They following Harry, they hide in a room and enter an another room inside hiding from Filch.

There they meet Fluffly a big Three-headed dog! Of course they scream and run away again, along the way they meets Peeves, and before being caughted Harry hide Hermione and Neville inside the Invisibility cloak of Alexander with just Harry and Ron caughted...

After this midnight talked, they all go to sleeps.
