Mafia (Psylocke I) Part 8

When we finish breakfast, Jessica is the first to leave since she had to take care of her agency.

I also decide to leave the apartment with Laura and Riri.

The girls have become close, with Riri always talking and Laura just listening.

When we left the place we got into the car, well Jessica's car. She left it for me so I could move around.

Among all Riri is the most excited, it is understandable after everything that happened to her.

When we are on the road, while I was driving, I felt strange. I felt that someone would attack me by breaking the windshield of the car.

Heeding this feeling, I draw my gun and point it in front of me, the next moment a person appears on top of the car. This person is a woman and she creates a violet energy sword and tries to attack me. I dodge it by moving my head and then shoot her.

The woman is surprised that I dodged her attack but she recovers and avoids my bullets.

I brake hard and the woman is thrown from the car. When she was going to hit the pavement, she disappears and appears next to me. To my luck she was already in my pseudo 'Hysteria Mode' and I could see her actions. I quickly dodged her incoming attack and shoot her. She disappears again allowing me to get out of the car.

I know who this woman is.

Elizabeth Braddock aka Psylocke.

What I find curious is why she attacks me.

"Miss, I don't remember having an enmity between us, why are you attacking me?" I told her.

"Silence, just give me the girl, her father is looking for her"

Riri and I are surprised, Riri just mutters:

"Is my father still alive?"

I found this suspicious so I ask her:

"What's the name of the girl's father?"

"Zebediah Killgrave" was the only thing she said but doing so answered my doubts.

"That person is not my father because he is not called that" said an annoyed Riri.

Psylocke ignores Riri's words and attacks me, seeing her actions I put my gun away.

Because I know this woman is influenced by Killgrave's mind control.

She doesn't seem too influenced, since that damned Killgrave only obsessed her with the mission.

Psylocke attacks me again with her energy sword, I quickly dodge and when she notices her attack misses, she teleports.

At that moment I felt it again, that strange sensation, as if calculating exactly where she would attack me, I turned my body and hit behind me. And there Psylocke appeared with her energy sword to attack me.

With my 'Imagine Breaker' I destroy her energy sword and grab her arm. She tries to teleport but to her surprise she finds that she can't do it.

And with my free arm I hit her in the stomach causing her to lose consciousness.

I pick her up and put her in the car but not before touching her head with my 'Imagine Breaker' just to make sure I remove Killgrave's influence.

I start the car again and back on the road.

Thinking about Psylocke, this woman must be some kind of mercenary, so when she wakes up, I have an offer to make her.

'I just hope she accepts' I thought as I let out a sigh.
