1 Alden’s Rage

Please make him stop! Why does he keep doing this to us? Alden questions himself for the millionth time as he nurses his wounds and bruises from the beating his father just gave him. His sister hiding in her room crying herself to sleep. His brother long gone actually being sold to the Dark world of slavers. His whereabouts unknown.

Alden, Alden wake up father will be home soon and Tara called to say he's drunk again. Tara being the local barmaid who really worries for the children's lives. Ugh was that really a dream it felt so real. Alden questions himself after dreaming of a twelve winged Angel that spoke of power that he had. Alden tried hard looking within himself as instructed by the Angel to find the seed. The seed of power that could allow for their freedom from the monster they call father. Mom why are leaving please don't go. Alden was begging his mother who lays in bed deathly ill as she spoke her last words to her then 8 year old son. After the death of their mother Alden, Gaven, and Rachel learn just how much of a monster their so called dad is. It started with all the drinking and bringing strange women home. Next came the beatings at regular intervals sometimes so bad that they would miss weeks of school. At one point Gavin the younger brother disappears as their father rants about 3 mouths are to much to feed.

This day as Alden looks within himself in an area where nothing ever existed before he finds a sphere blue in color. In his mind a voice repeats to him how to use his this power known as Rage!

Join Alden through his eyes on a journey as he takes us to places you can only imagine. Will he master his Rage or will he become another victim to the violence and anger of the adults.

What is this itching sensation on my back it's driving me crazy. Reaching behind me I notice two lumps on my shoulder blades.

Wings wait these are just like the black wings from the Angel in my dreams. Why do I suddenly have them. As my mind is running like crazy another idea pops into my head one that every man and child dreams of. With wings does that mean I can "fly"?
