1 On The Edge

"What is life worth living for?" Alaina mumbles to the Theo.

Wind gently caresses Alainas face, tickling her gentle pearl skin.

Alaina looks back to Theo with her blank lifeless eyes.

"Theo. You know I don't like it when you tell me that."

She stood up and stare at Theo. Her back against the soaring mountains. She opened her arms and smiled. At this moment, she looked as if she's given up. Driven to a corner, chained and locked up. Theo began to feel stuffy.

Alaina soft giggle made him feel at ease.

He began to wonder back into the past. Oh how he wished everything went back to normal.

"Theo.." Alaina whisper softly. Her sweet voice cracked. Hugging herself in what seems to be despair. Theo looked at her shocked.

"————" he thought to himself. Sadness, regret...fear washed over his face.

"I know Theo....I know all of it."

She slowly turned back, facing the mountain.

She looked down on the stoop cliff. Wondering what would happen if she fell. She walked closer to the edge.

"——!!!" Theo panicked. He began to shake. Sweat dripping down his forehead onto his new suit.
