1 Outline #1

My story starts in a not so bad way but it has its sad beginning as it seems all adventures do these days. I don't focus on that so much it's just the hand I was dealt. Without further ado, I give the story of the beautiful, tantalizing, mesmerizing Akina Sphinx that's me dont forget it.

Khemet II was my father though they say he died in a summoning accident, that's false. How do I know you ask, well it's because I was there. He was murdered stabbed in the back, while he was summoning a new familiar since his falcon was slain two days prior by some "unknown" figure. But here is a surprise for you, the man who murdered him was none other than my brothers' advisor Nazmi. I know you ask wow I figured it would be your brother Khemet III, I'm here to tell you if you dare think he is capable of that or mutter ill of my brother I will gut you in the Sphinx river and bask on the beach as the crows pick at your eyes. So now that I'm clear on that we can move on. Nazmi seen me when I gasped and he charged me as I tried to run away but he caught me but he couldn't bring himself to slit my throat so he thought for a minute then he had it. That demon isn't many things, but one thing he is smart. He took me to my favorite spot to play the same spot my brother would always tell me was dangerous and not to play there, you know when your 6 you will do the very thing they tell you not to just to do it right. Well my spot was the palace wall, so what does that bastard do fucking threw me off the wall. As I was falling it felt like forever but the two things I remembered the most in that brief moment was my father's look of peace when he hit the floor in a pool of blood and how blue the sky was just before I hit the ground. The last thing on my mind before the blackness was I hope I come back as a bird so i can fly in that blue sky.

I awoke in a cart bound and gagged wearing rags, no not rags a vegetable sack that smelled of onions. The cart was moving and I was panicking then the pain set in my head was on fire never in my life have I felt pain like this. Then the cart stopped and a figure in black came around, I couldn't see there face it was covered, the air froze in my lungs thoughts racing through my head and none of them good but what happened next was not in any of those thoughts. The figure pulled down its hood and mask to reveal a beautiful women with gold hair and red lips with eyes as blue as the sky that was burned into my memory. She tried to calm me but it is kind've hard to do that with a six year old when they just went through what I did and your holding a dagger in your hand. She cut my bonds and left the dagger by my side and said "Here if you were to hold it will you feel safer?" I didn't respond I just looked at the dagger and looked at her.

I asked where are my clothes but it just came out raspy like the old beggar that was always at the palace gates begging for coin. It startled me then the women said its it's ok, don't try to speak yet, you took a bit of a fall and I've been tending your wounds for the past 8 days. WHAT did she just say 8 days? EIGHT! There's no way I was out for 8 days. She must of seen the look of bewilderment on my face she asked if I was thirsty, I was just about to shake my head no when I realized my mouth and my throat was so dry it was as dry as the sand that would blow thru the streets just before a sand storm. She handed me a waterskin I started drinking I didn't even care if it was a trick or poison I was dying of thirst. The cool water ran down my throat, it was so cold and soothing it was like that treat those merchants from the north brought to father as a gift to be able to trade on, what did they call it um uh oh yea ice cream was it. But at this moment this water was sweeter and better than any ice cream could ever be. As I finished the water the women said "well I hope that helped, my name is Sara Nightshade but just call me Sara. I found you bleeding and bruised laying in the street I couldn't just pass and leave you like that, I could almost hear you taking your last breath."

So that is how my father died, I almost died and I met Sara. Now is when you really get to see how awesome i am or how awesome i thought i was. Sara took me in and helped me get back to 100%. When I felt I could open up to her i told her what had happened and why I was in the street dying. She just nodded her head and said well you're safe now and one day you will be able to go safely back to your family and be the princess I know you can be. Sara then looked at me and said well since you opened up I will as well, I'm not just some wanderer I'm actually an agent of a group of ladies that have a similar bloodline as you and we are kinda badass. We travel all over helping people and saving them from people who would do our fellow Garundi harm. If you would like I can teach you our ways and when we get to our destination the council can test you and if you truly have the blood of the Pharaohs flowing thru your veins you will be invited to join the family.

After that conversation i was so intrigued by the mystery of it all I couldn't stop asking questions, and many times Sara would just smile and say you will see for yourself when the time come. But she would answer a few of my questions here and there probably just to shut me up. The days and nights flew by we would sleep during the day and travel at night and train at dusk and dawn. Sara was a good teacher but I wasn't learning as fast as I wanted to so I would sneak and train during the day. It was all fine and dandy till that damn giant scorpion tried to eat me and Sara had to save me yet again, she gave me a good scolding after that but she started training me harder. About 7 months went by then we arrived at this little hut and sara said finally we made it to headquarters. I sighed this was the headquarters I was looking forward to this was a rundown hut not some base for a super awesome secret sisterhood of badasses. Sara opened the door and dragged me in and once I was inside I was speechless, it was huge inside a small city was inside that hut. I looked at Sara and tried to speak but Sara just smiled and mouthed the word magic. Of course it was magic I wasn't that thick but to this scale was unheard of, I had just started my magic studies at the palace but never did it say you could do this.

Well after I recovered from my slack jawed expression Sara took me to this big building in the middle of the city and ushered me inside rather quickly. Sara was trying to hide it but I could tell she was just as nervous as I was what of my family was liars and I couldn't join the sisterhood of awesomeness. I couldn't think that way I had to keep my head up this is what I trained for and what my bloodline could give me. Sara took me throw hallway after hallway till we ended up in an auditorium with about 13 other girls. One by one we were called up to this obelisk and told to place our hands on it. I watched as the first girl did it she placed her hands on it and I watched as nothing happened. I looked at Sara and said I'm confused i thought there was a test, sara just shushed me. So I watched the girl was told to go to the west side of the room. The next few girls were all told the same, then this one girl went up there she looked to be about my age but not nearly as pretty. As she touched the obelisk it glowed a faint blue, there was a murmur among the council then they told her go to the east. I didn't know what was going on but the rest of the girls went to the stone but only another 2 girls were moved to the east side of the room. Then my name was called my stomach turned I felt like I was going to be sick but I kept my chin high I had to bring honor to Sara and not let her down by crying like a little girl, I was a princess not some little girl. I walked up to the obelisk and placed my hands on the sides of it just like everyone else and then out of nowhere the obelisk flared with a golden light so bright the whole auditorium was lit It was so bright i could feel the warmth on my face but the glow didn't hurt my eyes. I quickly moved my hands from the obelisk and when the room came to normal lighting again the council was all standing leaning towards me with this expression of amazement and a hint of fear I think but I couldn't tell. They came over and circled me not saying a word eyeing me up one side and down the other it made me feel uncomfortable and grateful to Sara for getting me some real clothes from that gypsy caravan we passed a few months ago.

They asked "who are you? Were so you come from?" I puffed out my chest and held my head high and said "My name is Akina Sphinx second princess of Osirion 4th child of Khemet II." A murmur came from the council they asked me do you know who we are? I replied the council of the sisterhood that Sara is apart of. They said while that is all true that is not who we are we are the council of the Blackros family a secret organization that fights for the rights and freedoms of all Osirion. In the past we have even had to oppose the pharaoh but that was a long time ago. Well Akina the only question we have for you is do you want to be our newest sister, I opened my mouth to reply but the women standing in front of me help up her hand and said "but if you say yes you will have to give up your title of princess and leave that life behind and we will be your new family." I thought for a min I thought of my 2 brothers and my sister I loved them all but then I looked at Sara I lived her to and in the few months I had been with her she was more like a mother and a sister than my blood family was. I looked at the council and said " The only family I need is in this room as long as I don't have to give up who I am with Sara then it is an easy decision" I looked at Sara and she was crying then ran over and gave me a hug.

And that is how I joined the Blackros family. I would then spend the next 9 years learning about the family history the blood of the pharaohs, all these languages, math, alchemy, disguises and how to move like the wind, I learned how to use a dagger and even use magic devices. This whole time I got live with Sara at the headquarters and we were a family.

This now brings us to today my 19th birthday and graduation.
