13 People From The Past pt2

Akane almost jump out of the car when Jin Kwang said they're going to his house.

"I can't let you get involved with someone like me, you have a wife and kids who care for you and I can't take you away from them."

"Who said you're taking me away?!"

"Don't be ridiculous Jin Kwang, haven't you figure out that I'm not suitable to mingle in your fairytale life!"

"Fairytale?..." Jin Kwang sit straighter on his seat as he step on the gas, speeding through the street faster. "Is that what you think I'm living in?"

"Compared to mine, it is." Akane glares as she pull the others leg from the gas paddle, making the car slow down.

"How would I know if you don't tell me exactly where you were?!" Jin Kwang turn to glare at the women.

Annoyed, Akane rolled her eyes and said, "I spent my teen in the strip club throwing myself at everyone just to be able to eat two meals a day, entertaining and getting fuck by people five times my age to be able to live on, is this what you want me to tell you! There you have it, happy now!?"

The car run straight into a street lamp post and collide with it. The front of the car was a mess after running directly into the metal post. Jin Kwang was gaping at Akane, frozen in his seat in disbelief.

"You look pathetic," Akane states and got out of the car, disappearing into the night.

If it weren't for her uncle Kim insisting that the property is hers and that she should manage it like good owners do, Akane may have left Seoul for good. And she might have avoided the mess with Jin Kwang. She never wanted to yell at the older but her patients were thinly stretch as it is and she never liked talking about past. Jin Kwang didn't know that, Akane didn't tell him that either. It was un-invitable. So Akane did what she use to do when she accidentally let out her anger at the older when they were younger. She wrote her apology in note and sent it to Jin Kwang's workplace, along with a handpicked bunch of white lilies. It was her peace offering.

When Akane meet Joon Ki for the first time, it was when she was running away from home for the first time, with her favourite stuffie named Yuki, a torch and fifty chocolate bars in her custom made signed backpack. She was six when she meet the boy named Joon Ki who saved her from the barking dogs in the street and took her into his house when she said she was running away from home that one summer evening. The boy was taller back then but now it seems like she got taller.

"Puberty is a bitch, you only got smaller Ki." Akane comments as soon as the man sat beside her on the grass. The man laughed but it died as soon as it came.

"I guess..." Joon Ki sighs and turn to stare at the girl leaning back on the tree behind while gazing at the dark sky above. The city has too much light pollution to be able to see stars. "I've missed you."

"You have a wife, Joon Ki. Infidelity is sinful." Akane smiles as she glanced at the man sitting beside her. Joon Ki was already watching her with a smile.

"I know, she does too but I'm already aware that my wife doesn't love me anymore. She got what she wanted and I'm no longer needed."

Akane frowns and turn to look down at her hands in the grass. What Joon Ki said were not what she was searching for. His wife is a famous female actor and a singer with millions of fans...!!! o.oh...

"So she married you for fame, interesting women. Not bad." Akane comments with a smile which made the man laughed bitterly.

"What are doing here this late, aren't you afraid?" Joon Ki asks, knowing that the women didn't feared the night even when they were little kids.

"The only fear I have is losing my sanity one day." Akane replies has a matter of fact and ignores the other question, "How about you?"

"Lack of muse," Joon Ki smirks then, "But it looks like I finally found it." he glanced at the girl with teasing eyes witch got him a shove down into the ground.
