26 Moving Home

Minho had talked with his wife beforehand and Akane was invited out to have a dine over at a restaurant for their first meet.

Akane can tell that the women is kinda nervous just by looking at her.

"I'm Akane Kim." she introduced and hold out her hand for a shake, which the women did and shook hands with her.

"Victoria Park." the women says, giving a polite smile.

"Don't be so nervous, i don't bite unnecessarily." Akane said jokingly as they sat down, done with the introduction.

"Mini might have told about me being Eun Yoon?" Akane ask, straight forwardly and the the women nods after glancing her husband who was busy looking up the menu, "I don't want to be rude but it's better I ask this first. What did your father said about your arranged marriage and does your relationship with your father is strong?" she lean on her hands on the table and look at the women.

"Noona you're intimidating her," Minho chuckles, "Sit like a lady you are." he chided, smiling fondly at the older who giggles at his comment.

"I wasn't trying to intimidate you Victoria." Akane states and sits leaning back on her seat and with her hands on her lap, " And I'm pretty straight forward talking kinda person so I hope you will be honest with me."

"Of course," Victoria nods, clearing her throat and pulling herself together, "Our arranged marriage was solely for the merging of two companies or partnership per say. My father is a very strict person so I didn't really grow close to him since I was young. He's been pressuring me nowadays to talk to Minho about taking his position back in the company but we both know it's not happening anytime soon." her snark remarks got her husband to scoff while Akane just burst out laughing. They were in a private room so the loud noise were not a problem.

"I can see why Minho come to adore you, you have a good heart." Akane comments, tipping her glass of wine towards her brother.

"You're judging too soon Akane shi." Victoria tries to disagree but it only got a shake of head and a good pat on her back from her husband.

"Noona runs on her instinct and her judgement is never wrong." Minho compliments, giving few more pats to make his wife relax a bit.

Akane was about to say something more but their server came in with their orders and set the table for them. So she save the talk for later.

Akane wasn't much of a fan of eating meat but once a while is fine and the steak Minho ordered for her was more than enough. It was medium cooked and not what she is used to but it was fine with the red wine to wash it down her throat.

"Didn't you like it?" Minho asked after watching the other eat the steak while making a face. It was funny.

"Not a fan of meat to be honest," Akane says, finally done with the steak and now sipping her wine, "I'm used to eating healthy wholesome meal, white meat and sea foods if I feel like it. I could probably eat a while cabbage right now." she jokes, because the salad they had was unsatisfying.

"I can cook you sea food once we move in with you." Minho suggested, shrugging his shoulder, "I'll be home most days." it earn him an amuse glance from his own wife.

"You only cook on our anniversary." Victoria comments, teasing and making her man take a look at her twice and chuckle awkwardly.

"Yeah, about moving in." Akane cuts into the topic, "The other master bedroom will be yours and I got two empty guest rooms for your kids." she informs there's enough space for everyone in her house.

"Can I ask why do you want us to stay in your house?" Victoria questions, curious and it was expected.

"I have things to do and I would very much like you guys to stay safe and away from it as far as possible. I can't tell you what right now but it's better to be cautious and careful about it. I see my house as the safest option in Seoul, other than the Blue House of course."

Hearing Akane saying that had the two look at her in shock, Minho even had to close is gaping mouth

"That's ridiculous noona, I don't see any guards in the house." Minho comments, scoffing in disbelief.

"The trespassers will be killed even before they reach the house, I programme it myself. You can try climbing the walls if you want to check out what I got in store." Akane taunted, smirking at the younger who gulp awkwardly at her statement.

"Such security.." Victoria mumbles, "Have you planned something big for us to need such protection?" she ask, clearly she have some of her assumptions since she looks Akane with knowing gaze.

"I'm looking into the business sector as a whole and I'm just being extra cautious." Akane answers, keeping it vogue and simple but it did get its purpose across because Victoria turn stiff and she blinked nervously.

Akane knows the women might know some dirt about her father and his business partners.

"Not to offend you, but I think it's better for us to move to my father's house for the time being. I believe he is just as capable as you are in providing security." Victoria states and she seemed so sure Akane didn't had the heart to object her.

"It's your decision Victoria, I can't pressure you into something you are clearly not comfortable with."

It didn't went as she was expecting but she got one more pointer as it was okay. Minho was disappointed with his wife's decision but didn't step in to oppose her. He just said that it will be better for him to stay in the house and help Akane in her work. Victoria wasn't happy with his decision but Minho was stubborn enough for her to not question him more.

The next day, Joonki and Suran finally divorced officially and the father was given the custody of the child. Akane might have pulled some strings but no one needs to know that she did.

The media and paparazzi were roaring in the street but Akane still went to pick up the two. Sure the reporters got thousands of pictures of them but who cares. Clearly, they don't.

Then Joonki suggested it's a good time to finally move in with her. Akane almost hit the car in the front while Ran cheered like her life depends on being loud.
