9 Her pt2

He didn't know what compelled him to question his employee that question, the man has a wife for Pete's sake.

"Yah Joon Ki what got you dreaming like a teen who thinks they'll die before graduating?" He asks jokingly but the man just glance at him for a second and went back to eating his noodles with a sigh.

"Hyung, I think I'm going crazy with all the thinking I'm doing. You should look for a new producer to make hit songs." Joon Ki let out another sigh and the older frowns at his behaviour.

"What is it, you know you can share it with me, right?" He ask softly, and waited for the other to open up to him.

"A month ago when you called for an urgent meeting I was actually getting my car to pick up me daughter, you know Oh Ran, my kid?" Joon Ki says and look at the other to see the nod of acknowledgement, "So, I got hold up for minutes and I left her at a bus stop a block from our building. She message me that she's going home, I tried calling but she won't pick up so I called home. The maid said a women drop her off and I was relief that maybe someone I know took her home. When I got home, I ask my daughter who was the women but she refused! I had to bribe her to tell me all at least a name. Then she told me that the women told her to call her aunty Kim, and believe me when I say that the only aunty Kim she has is your wife. So I got confused because Nam is at home with your sick twins and there is no other female Kim left. Then Ran told me that the women resembles the girl in the photo I keep at my personal studio at home, just older and with blue hair!"

Joon Ki threw up his hands in the air dramatically and looks over at the older, "Can you imagine how spooked I got because the girl in the photo has already died when I was still a teen myself!" he whisper yells with a confused look in his eyes.

"I ask my daughter again but she said that the women really do look like the girl in the photo, she even had the raincoat to prove that the women was real. And the raincoat was a customised so it got printed name. KEY was written at the bottom of the left side of the coat. I don't know if this is just a person with the same name or she really came back after so many years!"

"What's her name?" Jin Kwang ask with a playful smile just to play along with the other men, who didn't notice his joking mood.

"Kim Eun Yoon."

He froze, eyes wide and his breathing got stuck in his throat. Then he went on a coughing fit for a minute.

"Dude, what the fuck?" Joon Ki curses and hold out his glass of water to the older in panic. After sipping some water and taking deep breaths the older looks at him, with curiosity.

"Eun Yoon, amber eyes and long auburn hair?" He ask frantically, a little desperate.

"Kim Jin Kwang, how the fuck you know?!" Joon Ki narrowed his judging eyes at the older man.

"She was my play mate, our mothers knew each other and she always comes by to play games with my brother." Jin Kwang informs with a bitter smile.

"So you're the 'Jinnie oppa' she told me about?" Joon Ki says and got glared at by the older. Avoiding the cutting gaze, he clears his throat and lean back on his chair before saying, "I'm her first boyfriend."

It was kinda awkward at first, knowing the same person but differently. They took their conversation into more private place, and decided Joon Ki's studio will do.

Jin Kwang knows the girl because they grew up pretty much playing with each other, like siblings, and Joon Ki knows the girl because she visited his hometown occasionally and whenever she wants to meet him after they started dating. Then they both agreed that there was something fishy about her dead.

"She's alive, my employee saw her in downtown Seoul months ago too." Jin Kwang says, conforming the other man's suspicion. "She's hiding, I think, but I don't know why she never came up for help. I was like a brother to her and she use to depend on me too. Why now? I'm just as confused as you are."

Joon Ki just smile bitterly and confessed that he still love the girl. "I never managed to love anyone like I love her. I loved her more then myself. I cried you know, when they showed in the news that she's dead. I went through depression and anxiety right after she disappeared. I spent years trying to forget her, married, got myself a daughter, and now, what for? I'm back at square one." Joon Ki sighs and stares up at the grey ceiling of his studio to calm himself and not bawl his eyes out in front of his Boss and a friend.

"I miss her, so much that it hurts." he whispers but the older heard him just fine and nods his head, agreeing.

"I miss her too, Joon ah, I miss her too."
