4 Coincidentally

How they met was coincidence.

But reaching out was her choice.

Akane was out on her usual errands in the different country, in the city of gold when she saw her.

A rich looking women in fancy clothes with a young teenage girl beside her at one of the shops in Deira.

She stood dumbfounded for a minute before she start trailing them.

Seul Mi, but the women calls the teen Mimi with so much affection that has Akane feeling as if her heart is getting squeezed with every breath she takes while watching them form afar.

'she never showed me much affection while I was there'

Akane had to take deep breaths like her therapist taught her to get herself calm down her bubbling emotions and not have a full blown panic attack in the middle of the road.

Akane followed them further, into the Dubai Mall. The woman do love shopping, she knew that since she was a toddler.

Curious, Akane started to walk close to eavesdrop what the two are talking about.

"Mom, I feel like someone is stalking us." Seul Mi says as she looks behind them, yet seeing no one staring at her.

"Maybe, because you're too pretty for them." her mother jokes while looking through the clothes in the racks.

"Don't worry, your father arranged security guards to trial after us while we are in public dear." the mother assured the teen when she noticed how tense the teen was.

"If you say so mom." Seul Mi sighs and got back to searching a dress for herself, but the feeling of being watch made stop fully enjoying what was suppose to be her vacation shopping with her mother for her birthday.

After shopping and dining, they went back to their hotel and decided to retire for the night since the feeling of being watch was finally gone as they entered the hotel and she was exhausted from walking around the big mall.

After stalking them for hours, when the two finally entered the hotel, Akane sneaks into one of the office and hacks into the hotel system to see which room the two are staying and to find out what little information she can get from it.

They are mother daughter, here for vacation, booked the hotel room for three days and this is the second night.

A sister.

"I have a fucking sister." Akane don't know if she should laugh or cry.

Wanting to know more and feeling restless, Akane found herself inside the room where the women was staying.

The shower was running so she sat herself on the edge of the bed and waited.

Twenty minutes later the women got out of the bathroom and walk into the bedroom. She didn't saw the girl as she entered but she noticed was she sat down in from of the dressing and saw the reflection of another woman in the room sitting on her bed.

"Who are you? How did you get here?"

Akane didn't know what she was looking for, but the way the women reacted to her was disappointing to her heart. The little bit of happiness of seeing her mother disappeared and a heavy feeling fell on her.

"Don't you recognise your own daughter?" Akane questions with a heavy heart, sad smile on her lips as she stares at the women, waiting for what she said to digest.

What she got broke her more.

Her mother froze for a solid five minutes before going pale than she already is and started mumbling to herself that this can't be possible.

"I told him I want her dead?!" Her mother cries, "Why are you not dead?" she questions while glancing at her. Then she keeps on whimpers while holding her head and continues mumbling to herself how she believed that her shameful daughter is dead already and the girl in front of her can't be her.

It was.... Akane don't know what she was feeling but the mere swallowing of her own saliva seems too much and her breathing shortened. It was as if the world stopped rotating and she was suffering from motion sickness. She almost threw up as she walk out of the room and reach for the elevator. Her heart burns from unknown and she stumbled out of the hotel into the road. Her cheeks we're wet with her own tears which seem to keep on flowing and she couldn't think straight with how hard her head was pounding. It's been more than a decade since she had cried this hard and now it seems the tears were making up for the time she hold it.

She sure had her own doubts and thoughts but she never would have guessed what her own mother said about her upon seeing her.
