'all those traps for weapons and a message... kinda overkill... I nearly got roasted alive, cut in half, impaled, shot and don't get me started on the acid pool'
Zero opened the chest and inspected his inheritance, a pair of 1 handed long swords and a gun that he felt strangely familiar with (don't be confused his soul remembers it but doesn't have memories of his previous life)

"I wonder if someone's knocking or fighting out there... either way time to test this new gear."

Zero sat gazing into the fire lost in his thoughts and memories, his loaded Desert eagle lying carefully on his lap as he stroked it unconsciously as if it was his most valuable possession.
"He's been like this since he woke up?"
"Pretty much boss, when I tried to snap him out of it he almost shot me on instinct... as if he felt threatened by something"
"Keep an eye on him, I have a feeling there's more to it than what we can see"
"Got it"
"And one more thing, keep your relationship inside the base"
"I'll Try~"
Leone went and sat beside Zero after Najenda left and silently stared into his eyes, then all of a sudden his mind returned enough to notice where he was.
"Hey Leone"
"You ok?"
"She's on the move again"
"who is?"
He looked up at her, his assigned Chaperone, a tinge of fear evident in his eye's as one of his fingers started turning blue, raising it so she could see before putting it into the fire, his gaze not leaving hers as his finger turned back to normal
Leone was wide eyed in shock as she knew who he was talking about before her gaze turned cautious and questioning, seeing this he sighed shaking his head
"Long story short after getting my gear I investigated and discovered her hunting danger beasts nearby... I got distracted by her... she detected me and tried turning me into an ice cube which was counteracted by my abnormal body temperature thus allowing me to defend myself albeit weakened, I managed to injure her by... biting her arm after she almost head locked me... ever since she's been able to remotely try to freeze me and I've been able to feel her movement's occasionally... both only on a weak scale..."
Leone was baffled, before her sat a a young boy who not only fought the Ice Queen but managed to injure her and escape alive whilst gaining the ability to momentarily track her at any given time purely at random
Najenda, who had just remembered what she was gonna ask Leone had heard his explanation almost causing her to drop her cigarette as she stood in the doorway staring at him with the same expression of Shock, recollecting herself she sighed deeply before clearing her throat
"And just how did you manage to escape her Zero, not just anyone can get away from her alone"
Sighing again he closed his eyes as his shadow extended and rose before a figure emerged, albeit lifeless the Red eyes and physical details proved a resemblance
"From what I can tell you... a part of my father has been with me since birth... albeit a weakened fragment... this... " he gestured at the figure behind him "... is my fathers shadow... the Shadow of the man they named... the 'Slaughter Dragon'... the man who bathed in dragons blood and Butchered an Army of Assassin's sent from the now destroyed Desert Kingdom of Sataaneel which he Destroyed himself earning himself a second Moniker of The Bloody Phantom albeit that name is not known to many currently alive, he is how I managed to flee from Beautiful icy nightmare herself"
Dispelling the Shadow Zero looked back at the fire for sometime before rising and walking out of the room bypassing a Frozen Najenda and a curious Leone before heading off to his room right next to Leone's decorated with only a shelf where sat the few items from his village he had with him when he left, and a wardrobe filled with Black and red or White and Red clothing items with a few gray ones mixed in, his swords leaning against the wall next to the bed where he lay down and stared up at the roof before turning his gaze out the window and up at the moon

A/N: Yo guys long time no see... kinda been juggling idea's in my mind but here's the long awaited chapter for those who wanted it.
I'm also gonna add another chapter or two to DXD Guardian soon but don't expect much after as I'm working on another project and reading fanfics/Novels of fellow authors
