5 Samui.

Vedeath walked through the door and the bald man closed it right. The room was large and dimly lit.

'Am I supposed to just sit in here?' Vedeath questioned until she heard the clinking of a chain. Vedeath looked towards the direction the sound came from and figured out her test. A giant wolf-lion beast was chained to the ground. It was 15ft tall, had teeth the size of bananas, and its fur was purple and its eyes were red. The beast was released from its chains and immediately charged towards Vedeath who was standing still with her eyes closed. The beast leaped and was about to pounce on Vedeath before it and the entire room was frozen solid.

"Hyoketsu." Vedeath said as she walked past the beast and made the ice break into pieces. Vedeath knocked on the door but there was no answer. Vedeath remained patient and 15 minutes later, the bald man opened the door. He shivered at the temperature of the room and was shocked.

"You killed it!" The bald man exclaimed.

"Was I not supposed to?" Vedeath was very confused.

"That's the Special Class Danger Beast, Spectral Lion! Most recruits that go in that room either die or survive long enough to pass. That thing has the ability to kill hundreds before the military kills it!" The bald man exclaimed with awe. The bald man looked at Esdeath and labeled her the same strength as her sister.

"So do I also have to do the test?" Esdeath asked.

"No, you're definitely the same strength as your sister. I'll report this to Marcus, he'll decide which Division and rank would fit you two the most. Come back tomorrow morning to find out. Once you get your rank and division you are to immediately report to your station." The bald man said as he walked away and the sisters left the recruitment office.

"What should we do for the rest of the day? It's only noon." Esdeath asked as they walked down a random street.

"I dunno, I was thinking of getting a new weapon. Although I've been using this blade for over 7 years I feel it isn't right for me." Vedeath said as she looked around for a blacksmith.

"What weapon are you thinking of switching to?" Esdeath asked.

"I'm stuck between a longsword, katana, and a spear." Vedeath said as she found a blacksmith. They walked in and looked at the blacksmith's craftsmanship.

"The blacksmith seems to be pretty skilled." Esdeath said as she looked at a beautiful blue rapier.

"They sure are." Vedeath said as she examined a long silver spear with a blue handle and a blue tassel hanging from the pommel.

"You two gonna buy something?" A redheaded woman with soot on her face asked.

"Ah, yeah I was thinking of replacing my sword here." Vedeath said as she took the giant blade off her back. Vedeath handed the blade to the woman and she was shocked at the weight.

"How the hell can you even use this thing?! Not even Danger Beast materials are this heavy!" The woman said as she struggled the pick the blade up.

"I've been using this blade since I was five. I'm hoping you could smelt it and change it to another weapon." Vedeath said.

"Yeah, I can do that. I can even add some metals and materials to make the blade sharper and more durable." The woman said.

"Then can you do my rapier as well? It's been getting dull." Esdeath said as she handed the woman her rapier.

"What weapon would you like this blade to turn into?" The woman asked.

"I was thinking of a longsword and if you have any extra you can make some throwing daggers." Vedeath said.

"Alright. Your total comes up to 50 gold pieces." The woman said.

"Oh! Esdeath hurry and get the scales and bring extra gold so we can get the armor made." Vedeath said and Esdeath rushed out of the shop. The redheaded woman was confused but didn't question anything. 2 minutes later, Esdeath came back with a giant sack on her shoulder and her pouch was heavy with gold.

"We also have some Danger Beast material we would like made into armor." Vedeath said as Esdeath presented the blueish-white scales.

"These scales look really high quality, whatever Danger Beast you got this from must be strong!" The woman said.

"I can create armor but it depends on what type of armor you two want." The woman said and the sisters contemplated before agreeing on something.

"We have decided, we want plated armor." Vedeath said.

"I can make that happen, it's gonna cost you an extra 350 gold." The woman said as Esdeath paid.

"How long will this take?" Esdeath asked.

"Heh, it'll be done tomorrow morning." The woman said with a smirk.

"Well then well see you tomorrow Ms?" Vedeath asked wanting to know her name.

"Veronica. You can call me Veronica." Veronica said as she began to start working.

"Thank you, Veronica!" The sisters said as they left the smithy.

"We still have a couple of hours of daylight, should we go kill some Danger Beast for fun?" Esdeath asked and Vedeath nodded.

The sun rose once again and the sisters woke up from their heavenly sleep. Vedeath looked in the mirror and styled her hair so her left eye was covered by a bang. Esdeath styled her hair in the same way only to the right. They finished getting ready and left. They made their way to the blacksmith.

"We're back." Esdeath said as she walked through the front door. They heard the clanging of metal hitting metal and waited for a bit. 15 minutes later, Veronica came out sweaty and with soot on her body.

"Your weapons and armor are ready!" Veronica said with a smile. She went back and brought the weapons out and the armor was on an armor stand. Vedeath's giant blade was turned into a 2-foot long grey blade. The hilt was adorned with runic engravings and a red gem in the middle, the handle was black and the pommel was diamond-shaped. Vedeath picked it up and was surprised at how light the blade was. She did a couple of test swings and was satisfied.

"That blade is incredibly sharp and heavy, took me a while to lift it!" Veronica said.

"Heavy? It feels like a feather?" Vedeath said with confusion.

"That blade is over 50 kilograms!" Veronica said with shock. Vedeath shrugged and sheathed the blade in its long black sheath.

Esdeath's rapier was also modified. It went from a rapier with a large guard and short blade to a rapier with a long blade and no guard. The hilt had many metal designs that combined and made their own guard, it also had a blue gem embedded in the middle. The handle was blue and the pommel had a wing design. Esdeath smiled as she swung the blade a couple of times before putting it in its white sheath.

"I changed the way your blade was designed, it was very inefficient and could cost you an arm later down the line. I made the blade sharper and both of your blades have Springer gems embedded in them for aesthetic purposes." Veronica said and the sisters decided to put on the armor as well.

The armor was silver and had many runic engravings. The helmet had a visor that only allowed one eye to be visible, making the armor look quite ominous if worn. It also had a long blue cape the helmet had no visible facial features other than the one visible eye. Once the sisters touched the armor they felt a deep connection come from within the armor. The connection connected to their Teigu and their armors started to morph. The armors melted like butter and started to engulf the sisters.

"What's going on!?" Esdeath yelled as she tried to stop herself from being engulfed by the armor.

"I don't know! I think it's our Teigu reacting to the armor!" Vedeath said as the armor was up to her mouth and she was engulfed. Esdeath was engulfed seconds later and Veronica stood there in shock.

While Veronica was in shock, the sisters were in their mindscape. The previously dark room turned into a room with a giant cage and wet floor.

"What the hell? Our mindscape changed, what's in the cage?" Esdeath asked as she got up.

"Let's find out, shall we?" Vedeath said as she and Esdeath walked up the giant cage. Once they got close enough, a loud roar echoed and blew the sisters back slightly. The dragon they previously killed made itself known from inside the cage.

"Didn't we kill this thing!?" Vedeath said as she got into a battle stance.

"I thought we did!" Esdeath said as she got ready for battle as well.

'Calm down you foolish humans.' A deep voice said inside of their heads.

"What the fuck?" Esdeath said.

"Who the hell is inside of our head?!" Vedeath asked as she looked around.

'I can't believe the two humans that killed me are this stupid.' The voice said once again.

"What do-Oh!" Vedeath figured out who the voice was.

"Es-chan, it's the dragon we killed. That's the voice." Vedeath said and Esdeath was surprised.

'Yes, it is I King of the Tundra, Samui.' Samui said but the sisters were still skeptical.

"How are you still alive? We killed you and devoured your body, there should be no way you're alive." Esdeath said.

'True you did consume my body but what did that create? A Teigu, my blood runs through your body. My blood already gave me a medium to come back and you ate my flesh and created armor out of my scales. All of these things gave me the medium to come back, although I'm not in a physical form it's more spiritual than anything.' Samui explained.

"How do we know that you are telling the truth?" Vedeath asked.

'If I had the chance to kill you two I would take it without hesitation but killing you two comes with the cost of me not returning to the physical world. So I decided to live in spirit than die completely.' Samui said.

"You said our Teigu gave you a medium to come back, why didn't you return earlier?" Esdeath asked.

'I actually don't know. I could have returned the moment you two consumed my blood but something held me back, I guess it was a limiter of some sort.' Samui said as he laid down and closed his eyes.

"So what is your purpose of coming back? It doesn't make much sense for you to come back now considering you can't even gain a physical form anymore." Vedeath said.

'Well, you two are the last of my bloodline. In human terms, you two are my heirs. Although I don't like you two I can't let my bloodline go to waste. I decided if I came back, I would do it to guide my bloodline so it won't be used for foolish reasons.' Samui said.

"Bloodline? Isn't this just a Teigu that assimilated itself with our bodies?" Esdeath asked.

'You think it's a Teigu because you are using it like a Teigu. If I'm being serious, you two are technically related to me by blood. The moment you two drunk my blood you were no longer human, you two are Danger Beast-Human Hybrids now, although my blood is naturally dominant and will eventually take over your human blood.' Samui revealed.

"Does that mean we are by blood your children?" Vedeath asked with eagerness.

'Yes, you two are basically my children. Haven't you felt your bodies start to change? Your bodies are getting stronger, faster, smarter, and more draconic as the days pass. I say by the time you two are sixteen my blood will have taken over your human blood.' Samui said.

"Does that mean we will become Danger Beasts!?" Esdeath asked.

'Yes and no. My blood will take over your human side but you will still keep your human body but you will be able to transform into a dragon.' Samui said and the sisters looked at each other with happiness.

"I told you we would find a way to break free from our human shells!" Esdeath said as she hugged Vedeath tightly.

"Yeah! We can really reach the peak now!" Vedeath said and the sisters hugged for 5 minutes.

'Ahem.' Samui interrupted their bonding time. Samui received a glare capable of making Gods piss themselves and shut his mouth. The sisters continued hugging for 20 minutes until they let go of each other.

"Now what were you saying?" Esdeath asked.

'I was going to explain our bloodlines abilities.' Samui said.

"Okay, then explain." Vedeath said.

'Hais, our bloodline has many strengths. One of them is absolute control over ice but we also have control over water and a minor control over blue fire. We are also ageless and grow stronger the longer we live. Along with great perception, superhuman strength, speed, thought speed, and reaction time. Those abilities you will gain as you get older. Control over water and fire comes much later down the line and requires more practice than the usage of ice.' Samui said.

'In the case of you two, you have an extra ability, the ability to transform from human to dragon. Along with the ability to call upon your scale armor, I like the name Scalemail.' Samui said.

"Wait if we get stronger the longer we live that means you must have been pretty young right?" Vedeath said.

'Well I'm around 150 years old but to my race, I would be considered a teenager.' Samui said and immediately received two laughs.

"So you're only a teenager? Hahaha! I thought you would be old enough to be considered an adult, you're basically our big brother!" Esdeath said as she and her sister laughed at Samui.

'No! I'm basically your father!" Samui exclaimed but it was no use.

"No, you're our big brother now. Big Brother Samui!" Vedeath said with a laugh.

'Hais, I guess this means we are okay with each other?' Samui asked.

"Yeah, we killed you the first time we could just do it again if we feel you lied to us." They said in unison with a devilish grin.

'Understood. You two are about to return to the physical world, about 30 seconds have passed since you two were engulfed by your Scalemail.' Samui said and the sisters returned to the physical world and immediately got up.

"What happened!?" Veronica asked.

"Nothing, thank you Veronica bye-bye!" Vedeath said as she grabbed her sister's hand and ran out of the door.
