Satoshi lazily slapped the snooze on his alarm as his eyes slowly slid open. 4:30 AM Read the alarm clock. Satoshi's day had just begun. As per usual he dragged himself out of bed, some days he would lay there for about 5 mins before actually getting out of bed, go take a cold shower to wake himself up, [Highly reccomended by Author-kun!] make himself a simple breakfast, got dressed and ready to start his work day.
Satoshi lives in a small studio apartment in the Shibuya Prefecture, it's a quaint and comfy apartment. White walls contrasted with black furniture. But Satoshi was on his way to work via the Shinkansen better known as the bullet train. He got off at his station and walked the rest of the way.
"Comfy Mug Cafè"
Read the neon sign as he arrived. He pulled out his phone, 5:45 AM was the time when he stood outside the cafè, a smile slowly made it's way across his lips as he pulled out the keys. He was the owner, and the only person the ran the quaint establishmemt. He looked over to the right and saw all his regular customers slowy forming a line outside the building. He unlocked the doors and allowed them to come in and take a seat.The aesthetic of the resturant was vey rustic yet modern at the same time. [What the Cafe looks like is in the picture at the top. My favorite coffee shop ever! Based off Mak Daddy's Coffee Shop ❤] He smiled once more as the scent of roasted espresso beans and freshly brewed coffee filled his nose. His home away from home was here at the Comfy Mug.

As the day went on he met new customers every so often. But, today was different. A woman with soft hazel colored eyes, long black hair that framed her face perfectly, and a walk that models are envious of walked through the doors. Satoshi turned his head as the bell rung. "Good morning and welcome to the Comfy Mug Cafè!" He said in an upbeat tone. But in that same breath, this woman caught Satoshi's attention, she was the definition of true beauty. Her outfit complimented her figure perfectly, from the gray cable knit sweater, all the way down to the combat boots on her feet. The moment Satoshi laid his eyes on her his heart skipped a beat.
Satoshi felt different. But he didn't mind the feeling she gave him either, he liked how it made him feel warm and fuzzy inside, like drinking hot chocolate on a cold winter night in December.
She made her way to the register, taking off her thick framed glasses and tossing then into her quilted black purse. "Hello! What can I get you today?" Satoshi asked the woman standing on the other side of the counter. She took a moment to look over the menu before she ordered, "I'll take a large iced caramel macchiato with light ice, whole milk, extra caramel sauce, and a couple extra pumps of vanilla syrup please!" She said as Satoshi quickly wrote down her order on a clear plastic cup. Satoshi nodded as he looked back up at her, "May I have your name for the order?"He asked as he smiled softly. She chucked and nodded, "Ah I'm sorry my name is Mina," she said with a smile. Satoshi nodded and wrote her name down on the cup. Putting a heart in place of a dot for the "i" in her name.
'What a sweet name for a woman like her, it's a cute name.' Satoshi thought as Mina paid for her drink. He thanked her as he moved over to the espresso machine and got to work on her drink. Mina stood there and watched him. His gray hair falling across his face as he looked down at the machine, 'He's so cute and such a gentlemen. Though he must work hard...' She thought to herself.
She looked around for any other employees at the Cafe, slowly looking back at Satoshi and noticing the dark circles under his eyes. 'Ah, he must be the owner of the Cafe.' She thought to herself as she let her eyes wander and take in the aesthetic of the Cafe. This was her first time visiting such a beautiful establishment, it certainly won't be her last. Satoshi looked up at her and watched her curious eyes look around the area. He chucked as he finished making her drink. "Here you go Mina, one large ice caramel macchiato, light ice, whole milk, extra caramel sauce, and extra vanilla syrup." He said as he placed it onto the counter. Mina smiled as she reaches for the cup, their hands grazing past, both pulling away suddenly at the slight touch. Satoshi chuckled as a rose pink dusted his cheeks as he blushed from the touch. "T-Thank you, Satoshi," she said as he waved goodbye and walked out the door. Hearing her say his name made his heart flutter. He hoped to see her again soon. Satoshi continued through his day as business slowly died down. Closing time drew near as it was only Satoshi left in the building. That was, until the bell rang and there she was. It was Mina, Satoshi couldn't help but smile again as she saw her walk through the doors again. "Welcome back Mina."
