51. Bloodbath coming her way

"I had warned her to not do the wedding. Your stars are aligned dangerously. Any girl who would marry you will die within a month after marriage." The divine priest said and paused, before continuing.

"But after sacrificing one life, you can lead a happy future ahead. This was what I told your mother." The divine priest said, looking carefully at Asterion.

Asterion took some time to absorb all this information, trying to bring all the pieces together.

But what he concluded was far more dangerous than his imagination. 

'My mother and Vesta wanted to kill Ether so that they could bring Vesta back into my life. It was my stars that were the problem and they wanted to get rid of Ether to make my life better? 

Why? Just because she was powerless, is her life considered a waste? Does not having powers matter this much?' It was at that moment where Asterion wanted to question his entire life.
