9 Chapter 8, Corporal Reiss
After his conversation with Angel, David had arrived at the mark on his Echo Locator. After looking around for a few moments, he spotted an Echo Device lying on the small road leading to Sanctuary's Gate, as David got off his buggy and walked over to pick up the device, Bullymongs from the wilderness and the cold glaciers, appeared and started approaching David with terrifying speed.
David, filled with anger and madness from his previous conversation, ignited his blueish blade, his eyes were now, an intense fiery orange with a piercing aura of death. The mindless creatures hearts were filled with pure fear, as they looked into those eyes. For the first time, these creatures found a being with an such an intense aura of death surrounding it, that they immediately turned around trying to avoid any conflict from the terrifying Vault Hunter.
But he was angry, he wanted to release all of his power, he wanted to kill. David cracked his neck to the side, and rushed with such speed, one could think he wasn't human, as he caught up with the Bullymongs, his free hand lifted from his side and was aimed at one of the Bullymongs.
"You will be my ginny pig." Said David, with a baritone voice.
[Force Push] was used, making the Bullymong in front of David fall to its knees by a gravitating push down its neck, immobilizing the creature. The moment the monster was incapacitated, a flash of blue accompanied with a vibrating noise slash the back of the Bullymong's neck. Killing the creature instantly. David stopped, and watched as the remaining Bullymongs ran away.
"So, that's what I can do, huh?" Thought David as he walked back to pick up the Echo Device.
When he reached over and grabbed the Device still laying on side of the road, a voice appeared from the Echo Communicator. "Got the power core from the Bloodshots! Blew the bridge! I'm hit... Gotta lose 'em in the Marrowfields -- RAGHHHH!" Said the voice, probably belonging to Reiss.
"Reiss is in trouble? Dammit, we're spread thin enough as it is. Find him, soldier." Roland said through David's own Echo Communicator after listening to the newly found Echo device.
"Understood." Shrugged David with an uninterested demeanor as he entered his Buggy once more. Turning the Buggy on, he thought of Roland's death. To bad this time, Roland won't even be there at the bunker when the Vault Hunter find Angel. No, he won't even see the loader bots capture him. David glanced at his Echo, before departing.

With a small smirk at the corner of his mouth, David rode to the new location at full speed. Enjoying the simple feeling of the cold air through his hair, David thought to himself "I could ask Scouter to build me a spaceship, go to Helios, take over Jack's position as president and then use the Warrior to thanos snap psychos out of existence. Or make myself a new Empire using the crimson raiders as storm troopers. But doing any of those 2 separately would take too long, so let's do both."
Arriving at the new location, David could hear a broadcast over his Echo from none other than Reiss. " Goddamned Bloodshots, there's too many of 'em! If anyone can hear me, I need HELP!" Cried the Corporal.
(approaching Reiss)
David descended his car, and walked over to the top of a cliff where he found Reiss laying on the ground being kicked repeatedly by some Bandits.
"You're SKAGBAIT, grinder!" One of the bandits said before his head fell to the ground.
The rest of the Bandits were shook when one of their fellow bandit died in an instant. Turning all of their heads rapidly behind searching for the perpetrator. Both shock and fear sank into their hearts, as they looked into David's cold yet burning orange eyes. David could see cold sweat dripping from their foreheads as they observed him, not wasting a moment, David swirled his Lightsaber around his hand making a loud vibrating noise and then made a powerful slashing motion with his weapon. Not being prepared, one of the bandits took the hit directly to his torso, promptly slicing him into two. David, then immediately used [Force Push] and [Force Vision] to predict the rest of the Bandits moments and push them off the cliff, while simultaneously shouting "FOS RO DAH".
After eliminating the bandits and gaining some xp promptly making him level 6, David walked over to Reiss. "A Vault Hunter? Heh, didn't think I rated that much of a rescue! One of those psychos ran off with the power core. Without it, Sanctuary'll be defenseless. [cough] Get that core back to Sanctuary. I'm just gonna take a nap -- wake me up when I'm not on Pandora anymore. " Said Reiss, with his final breath.
"Reiss is dead? He was one of the first Crimson Lancemen I recruited to the Raiders. Get that power core back. And while you're at it, kill some bandits for Reiss. It's what he would've wanted." Said Roland with a shaky voice over David's comms link.
"Alright, fine" Responded a bored David.

(Bandit hideout)
David found the Bandit hideout not far from the cliff, the hideout was below a snowy hill. The hideout was filled with Psychos including the psycho holding the power core under his armpit walking back and forth. David couldn't say that Reiss's death didn't make him angry, he still remembered when playing the game that he had killed every psycho for Reiss and the optinal quest reward.
Setting up a sniping position on top of the hill, David took out his sniper rifle and started absolutely demolishing every. single. psycho. Not knowing where the bullets were coming from some of the psychos decided to hid behind cover. Not bothering with the covered ones, David killed the remaining ones including the one with the power core. Once no more bandits or psychos were in the open, David descended the hill and used [Decepti0n] to retrieve the power core. While going back up the hill his skill wore off, making him visible to the bandits standing behind cover. The bandits got a few off shots that connected with David's back before he disappeared back into his buggy.

(back to his car)
"That's the power core. Great-- Jack won't destroy Sanctuary today, at least. Get back to the city. We'll meet up once I get there. Welcome to the Crimson Raid-- ah, dammit. I'm being attacked, I'll see -- " Said Roland before disappearing from the call.

(Back to Sanctuary's Gate)
"This is a message to Sanctuary 'the last stronghold of the resistance'. Pandora as you knew it -- the chaos, the bandits -- that time has passed. If you let it, this could be an era of order, of peace! Just turn yourselves in, and I promise: your deaths will be quick." Broadcasted Jack on the Echo Net.
"Hey, y'like my speech? I was lying about the last part, by the way. I'm gonna spend a loooong time torturing you bandit scum to death. And I'll enjoy it even more because -- ah, I shouldn't say anymore. I've got a little secret that I, uh - you know what? You don't need to hear it. It'll probably just confuse ya. Ciao!" Said Jack through David's communicator this time.
Arriving at the Gate, David pressed the Intercom. "Roland, is that you?! Oh, it's the Vault Hunter -- get in quick! Roland's ECHO communicator went dead, we need your help! " Said the Guard before opening Sanctuary's Gate.
While entering, David was stunned at the size of the City, it was as bigger than most modern Cities. Sanctuary had a run down look to it, but was still impressive none the less. Looking at the long bridge that connected the Gate to Sanctuary, David was reminded that it looked like Asgard from the Marvel movies he watched in his past life. The City was standing on a huge platform surrounded by a deep void running down to what seemed the planet's core, with only the bridge connecting it to the rest of the Planet.
"Made it to Banditville, huh? Well done! It'll be nice to see a friendly face when I'm burning that place to the ground. Oh, and I have decided that I will tell you my secret later on. Once you've earned it." Handsome Jack said to the Vault Hunter with a mocking tone, not knowing that David already knew his plans.
