If you want to know my story, then you must learn I'm one of the very few Outworlders who came to your world for miscellaneous reasons. No, not those angelic beings dawned from heaven to dictate divine decree, obviously. Well, my exterior was a big giveaway. I was just one of those poor saps that got thrust into your world when a crazy practitioner screwed around with higher-dimensional laws. - - - So, I've decided it's about time to leave the obligatory 5star review. First, this is a story where the protagonist ascends and becomes a godly figure. Also, I will not convince you to read this story. I think a couple of chapters are enough for you to know if the story is for you. It is easy going in the beginning, but has a gritty theme and a blend of grimdark and humour. If you're still not convinced, then stick around for the memes, banter, and the wifus. . . Now for the reasons you'd STAY AWAY from the story - No Murderhobo (but there will be apocalyptic fights) - No Cartoonish Villains (cuz this ain't for kids) - No System Window (cuz the author doesn't know numbers)
So first something personal I've been reading novels for several years now and if anyone else has they understand how much harder it gets progressively to find something suitable. As most make, you want to blow your brains out haha. And I was about to give up on this one too in the early 30s and even took a little break to wait for more chapters, and I can say for a fact I'm happy I came back to read this, I honestly hope it gets the support it deserves I'm on chapter 163 so far and here are my thoughts. Writing quality: Excellent grammar and genuinely gives the feel of reading a work by an experienced author. Enjoyable read especially with emotion and even fights all suck you in. Stability of updates: I give it a 10/10 and I love it, the author works consistently and gets better with each chapter. Story development: Great pacing and actually interesting and original developments instead of the cookie-cutter stuff being forced down our throats usually:) At the start, I was a little bit skeptical but the story truly came into its own in the late chapter 70s. If we really think about it I'd rather have this unique setup because the results of its fleshing out have me eagerly waiting for the next chapter. Character design: Human. It sounds dumb but people behave like actual people, from using their brains to actually having a survival instinct and not 'courting death' in every chapter not to say dumb people don't exist and some people don't learn their lessons but reality really hits them like a truck which I love!!! . The side characters, I wouldn't even call them that cause you end up with a genuine interest in their story, I'd say there's an expanding main cast and key supporting characters. World background: I'd describe it as mysterious and unfolding, be it the locations or how the society is structured, a balance of being in a world where power is the law and opens more and more doors but also interesting beyond only being tied to power. In conclusion, I hope the author receives the attention and support this book deserves. And a note the mc is mature and smart and strong don't get him being injured messed up 'he's really him:) but more importantly, he is growing, this entire story is, and it's freaking beautiful.
This book, it's actually pretty good. The author has created a very interesting world and mc, the mc has interesting and mysterious past that draws you in;not to mention the way he navigates the world is quite unlike other other cliche XianXia mc's. No extreme arrogance or unnecessary cruelty. Just someone who sees the world for what it is. It's clear the author has a plan for this story and isn't writing nonsense, keep it up.
Not gonna say much..but this is trash and boring... trash the moment you make a cultivation story.. xianxia theme but an mc with english name while others chinese..how stupid..boring because yeah its borinboring with bait synopsis ..thought he was already strong..wasnt expecting him to be some retard instead
32 Chapters in an I can say that it’s a well written story with great grammar. It’s not like other Chinese farmer novels, this story has a steady but clear development that is happening since chapter 1. World development is alright, not much to know though. The only thing I can really say for improvement is that there is a lack of emotion in the characters and they seem dull sometimes; other than that, it’s an interesting novel and I hope to see some more interesting events in the future.
I personally like the calmness of this story so far. The story progression is not rushed and feels like it has the right pace for this kind of novel. I also enjoy the kind of ”laid back” approach the protagonist has towards the world and cultivation. All in all I would recommend this novel as it is an enjoyable read :)
