148 The Most Important Decision

The Royal judge stood up to read the Royal court's decision. The entire court was silent. Contrary to the situation outside the court, the protesters are creating a ruckus. The intense feeling that they have is understandable, although their passion is misplaced; it should not dictate how the court should handle the case. 

This whole situation has turned into a trial by publicity, but Aila is determined not to show their evidences to the public to preserve whatever dignity is left with Beth and her family. She is showing genuine compassion to the person who has tried to hurt her over and over again. 

 Both camps are expecting a decision in their favor. The intent look in their eyes cannot be mistaken as a glimmer of hope. Most especially to the bereaved family of Beth.
