He butted in on their conversation. "Aila, are you going home? I can take you there."

"Oh, you're here! I was about to look for you." Aila replied to Vince.

Seeing how Vince ignored him, Ken immediately said his goodbyes to Aila to go home with his mom and sister.

Aila was left alone with Vince, Ken was really wary of giving Vince this chance to be with Aila, but he did not have a choice.

Vince helped Aila with her bags and assisted her on board his car. "He's such a gentleman," Aila thought while looking at Vince.

As soon as Vince entered his car, Aila took her gaze away. Vince smiled at what Aila did, he finds it quite romantic.

Vince sat in his car, he faced Aila and with a very concerned tone, he warned her.

"Avoid Rachelle and Tracy at all cost, they are the masterminds of everything, they really intend to embarrass you"

Aila nodded, accepting Vince's warning.

"Ahh..That's why they seemed surprised when they saw me in a new gown, but why would they do that to me? It's not like it would do them any good."

Aila had a realization of the situation, they are graduating students, it would be detrimental to their chances of graduating. She did not want Rachelle and Tracy to face such harsh punishment because of her.

"It's simple she's envious of you," Vince said with a smile.

"I don't really understand that part, it's not like she wants to be like me or want what I have.. I mean I have nothing in the first place."

Aila said while thinking about how she had concealed her wealth, talent, even avoiding being involved with other students.

"On the contrary, you have everything... You have a nice personality, a kind heart, and a bonus of a pretty face and a gorgeous body."

Vince intended to flatter Aila, but it turned out to sound a bit pervy.

Aila was speechless with what Vince just said, Vince felt Aila's uneasiness.

"Please don't get me wrong, you are an amazing person that's why she envies you so much... Hahaha. I was also surprised when I saw you in a gown, even if I was the one who prepared it for you."

Vince looked seriously at Aila.

"I never thought you could be even more beautiful.." Aila blushed at what Vince said, the awkward ambiance inside the car was very strong.

Aila tried to divert the discussion.

Vince managed to let out a sigh, thinking how Aila keeps calling him brother when they are just about the same age, while Ken does not get to be called brother.

Vince hid his embarrassment and smiled at her, but Aila was too stubborn to accept it as it is, she does not want to be indebted to anyone.

"I can't accept that brother Vince. I should pay you back some other time."

Vince laughed at her stubbornness which he even finds cute.

"Okay, how about not calling me brother from now on as payment." Aila again felt the eeriness between them, but she decided to take this as a payment just to appease the awkwardness.

Aila smiled at Vince and said...

"Okay Vince, that sure was an easy payment."

After that, the car was again filled with silence, Vince perhaps felt it too.

He decided to turn the tension into a joke.

"Let's turn on the radio because you are too quiet, I might fall asleep"

He tuned in on an FM station

Vince choked and coughed because of the song.

"I'll just turn this one-off, the songs are too old for us"

Aila can't help but laugh at Vince, which eased the tension.

Aila asked to be dropped at the house of one of their stewards, she did not want Vince to know where she actually lived.

It's too soon for anyone to know details about her life. After dropping off Aila, Vince went to Roy's house.

Vince was speechless, he exclaimed in his thoughts.
