STRATEGIES IN FIGHT, HUNTING MISSIONS

"Since the introductions are done, I would like to proceed towards the actual reason why you people were called here." Drake Gillmore walked towards the mini stage, which was present nearby, and started a presentation. " Have a seat."

After all the team members took their seats, Drake started explaining. " Courageous Dragons welcomes you into the family. I will not bother with the history and significance of the company as you all know its weight in the real world."

"Hunters have become a necessity in the present world for not only to protect it but also for the future of the planet. As you know, all of it began with a phenomenon and dimensional rifts began to appear. The phenomena not only brought monsters with it but also created monsters within our own world."

"We call those monsters hunters. You need to understand that becoming a hunter itself is a privilege. Out of the whole world, 70 percent doesn't even get to experience the power of hunters and often die in the clashes which persist."

"It is our duty as the chosen ones to act as a protective shield for the people around us. Even the lowest category hunter is far more powerful than a human being. You, on the other hand, are the very top-tier existence of the monster world. But as the saying goes ' With great power comes great responsibility"

"Courageous Dragons was created by a group of people who manage to awaken the highest level of power during the first awakening. The only common thing we had was that we had lost all of our family and belongings to the monsters, and hence we were thirsty for revenge. The first group, which is now in charge of the whole company and is the owner of this building was thus formed."

The group, including Liam, had a change of expression when they heard that.

"No need to be surprised. Every leader of the first squad is in charge of a team similar to this. We aim to train recruits who have the potential to replace us since we will not be in service in the future."

"A time period which will not be revealed has been set up. Your group will be conducting hunting missions, both solo and in the party in various rifts, dungeons, ruins, and even spatial cracks. The first part of your training will begin in this room."

"Your schedule for the first week is divided into two sections. Physical training, magic training, weapons training, and the study of the world's secrets. Each section will have one of my subordinates as a guide for you to refer to. You will be given tasks and failure to perform which will result in severe punishment for the whole team."

Drake flicked his fingers and several people entered the room carrying bags. Each recruit was given a bag and a file.

"The bag contains your personal training suits which will be maintained by you from now on. You will understand what maintaining it means with time. The suits are designed to enhance resistance to a variety of things such a strength, mana among others. They will be crucial in his training."

"Your mission has been recorded in the file. The first week of training hereby begins."

"What will be the punishment?"

"You will know when you do fail the mission. I suggest not doing that." Drake smiled and left the room.

"I will be in charge of the first training module. I am John Stein. Nice to meet you." A man in his mid-thirties walked in. He had a well-built figure and a handsome face. Some of the tea members immediately recognized him.

"You are the 2nd position A-ranker in the whole country," Howard said in amazement.

"It's good to see some new people recognize me. I am flattered. Should we get to the training then? Put on your suit immediately." The group followed his instructions. The suit is an incredibly modern piece of technology built with some advanced latex material.

"Press the button on your left side thumb to on it." As soon as they did it the suit immediately squeezed onto their body as if it was just a thin layer of skin on top."System online. Confirm your identities."

"Liam Chang."

"Identity confirmed. Start the training suit. Checking the host's vitals and analyzing the surroundings." A moment and the visor shined with a bright and colorful hologram of a mini lady.

"We welcome you to the training suite and hope to assist the host throughout his schedule."

"I hope you have managed to start the suit. Now give the command "'Start basic training package."

The group did that and the hologram changed into a diverse tabloid which showed their current status and additional information about the suit with many bars below it.

"Once you are in, go ahead and increase the weight tab to 1." The group did it and immediately they felt their body getting heavier. Some of them even found it difficult to move in.

"We will be training in this mode from now on. Your basic physical training begins here."

The fifth day of basic training-

Leon had undergone incredible hardship in the last few days. he had to go through multiple training schedules and his stats were increasing at a very low pace. After 4 consecutive days of training, his stats were as follows:

"Strength: 18 , Endurance: 19, Aglity:17, Mana: 5, Wisdom: 4, Luck:3" and many more. he hadn't got any more titles since the first day, but his efficiency had increased because of the two titles and he had a good boost in stats.

The major shock was when Mana and wisdom stats increased by 1 point. he could feel a drastic change within his body but could experience it. It was as if something was awakening in him.

He finally managed to complete the last training set and the message popped up.

"Mission: Basic Training-2

Status: completed

Time remaining: 15 hrs.

Rewards: Level up is being granted. All stats are being increased by 4."

Leon felt his whole body is flooded with power. His stats began to increase and his level was son longer than 2 he checked his staus tab.

"Level: 4.

"Strength: 22, Endurance : 23, Agility:21, Mana: 9, Wisdom: 8, Luck:7."

"Completing the training as granted additional rewards due to the remaining time for the deadline. calculating the time remaining:15 hrs. 1000 Exp granted. 3 independent points granted."

"Rewards: 15 independent points granted. Novice training set unlocked. Hunting Missions are now accessible."

"Since two or more of the host's stats are above 20, the experience bar is unlocked." Another bar became visible below the level indicator. It mentioned 1000/2000 on it.

"What does this bar do?"

"It shows how much experience you will need to reach the next level up. The mission from now on will rarely present you with a level up. The only way to do this is by training and hunting or receiving powerful resources among others. The level up may also not give you an increase in stats. It may give 0, or 1 or even more in some cases."

"So the only way to have a sure growth is by training and hunting."

"Yes."

"Then explain how the hunting missions work."

"Missions will come online whenever the host is confronted with the hostile party. The elimination of your enemies is the best way to gain a huge amount of experience and resources from their body."

"So I will be going into the outside world to hunt."

"Not yet sir. You are present within the best grounds one could have. The whole dungeon was supposed to be cleared by a contender before getting hands on me. But you by pure chance managed to get here and form a contract. The monsters in the lower levels are all alive and waiting for you to hunt them."

"You will have to become worthy of the system before leaving this space. That is the only way to do so."

"How many levels are there," Leon asked in anticipation. He was incredibly nervous about the situation. he wanted to go out and save Mia. He wanted to reunite with Liam and his younger siblings. He had a family out there and no way of learning their current status.

"300."

"What?" Leon was shocked shitless on hearing this.
