Glenn joined the rest of the students to his class when the one hour break was over.

The normal learning part of the day had ended and now till the last bell of the day rings, the students are going to be taking classes on cultivation and other forms of trains.

As promised, the students of Class 3D arrived in the class immediately the bell rung much to the delight of their teacher who had been worried she'd have to wait for them, just like before.

"Good afternoon Miss Lauren, did you have a nice break?" Sydney asked when the group walked into the class

Miss Lauren looked up from her book with a smile

"Yes, I did Syd. And I hope you all did too"

While the other nine had light conversations with the beautiful teacher, Glenn stood apart, ticking away on the attendance book

He was taking the afternoon attendance but his real focus was on the blue screen in his vision.

On the screen, the following words were displayed;

He glanced at the others. They were still talking and Glenn opened the main status screen to inspect his draws

Glenn listened to Zero's words carefully and soon understood the basics of his new Attributes.

He next opened the Sub System User tab for further information.

The Sub System Users tab had only two parts.

[Remove Sub System User]

[Manipulate Sub System User]

These three tabs were already self explanatory and Glenn didn't have to ask Zero for an explanation.

He clicked on Add Sub System User and without a doubt, choice to add his nine class mates to the system.

He had made this choice after seeing Miss Lauren get ridiculed earlier. Although he could always choice to be the only student with high ranking attribute and wash away the teacher's shame, he didn't want anyone to make up a story about her being lucky this time

He wanted to shut those jerks up and what better way to do it than having a class full of high ranking attribute awakened.

It'd definitely be a slap in the face.

Besides, Glenn thought, he could always remove anyone from the system if he so wishes.

With all these being considered, Glenn felt he had made the right decision when he saw nine tabs appear under Sub System Users.

Each tab carried the name of one of his classmates and their unawakened attributes and current skills

Glenn only focused on the attributes for now. Attributes were the most important thing to any awakened and they clearly determine the level of strength each awakened had.

Take for instance two same attribute awakened of ice are in a battle. Although they both had the same attribute, if one had A rank ice and the other C ranked ice, the awakened with A ranked ice will definitely win with just a single attack irrespective of the strength of the awakened with C ranked ice.

This was the difference Attribute Ranks had created.

Seven out of nine students had B ranked attributes and the other two had A ranked attributes.

Glenn was quite surprised. Miss Lauren, even without his help, would be able to was away some of her shame this time. A class of B and A ranked attributes awakened was definitely not a joke in a small city like this.

However, Glenn wasn't satisfied

"Zero, increase everyone's attribute ranks to SS and SSS rank according to the level of their current ranks" Glenn said in his head

'That was fast' Glenn thought in surprise

[It's just increasing Attributes by some points. It's not a big deal] came Zero's smug voice

Glenn rolled his eyes and went to join the others

"Okay everyone, time to awaken your attributes. I wish you all best of luck" Miss Lauren said and stepped behind the desk again. She pushed a blue button at the end of the long desk.

Immediately, the group shock and the students, startled, all tried to grab something

Before their eyes, the chairs and desks in the classroom sank into the marble flours and the room became empty except for a small platform that raised from the ground.

The platform was made of marble and on it, there was a large white orb the size of an ostrich egg.

It didn't have any glow or shine on it and looked like a regular ball

"That is the awakening crystal. You'll all have one chance to awaken your attribute. Place you hands on the crystal and concentrate on whatever you feel. Please focus on awaking your attribute to avoid complications" Miss Lauren said " to the students "Who wants to go first?"

"I will!" a loud voice entered everyone ears and without a doubt, Sam rushed up to the crystal his wild black hair bouncing all over his head

The class became dead silent as Same place his hands on the crystal and immediately removed it

"ouch, it burned!" he exclaimed holding his hands

The expression on the onlookers face were confusion, shock and fright.

Sam grinned

"Just kidding"

"Sam McCarthy!" Miss Lauren snapped at him and Sam quickly apologized then placed his hands on the crystal again.

This time he remained quite and focused.

For a few seconds, nothing happened and Miss Lauren's grip on the table became tighter. Her nerves were wracking up and the students noticed.

"Miss Lauren, don't worry. I'm sure Sam will awaken a SSS Ranked Attribute" Glenn said in a whisper

The teacher and students heard him but didn't reply. How would he know what ranked attribute someone will awaken after all.

Glenn looked at Sam's tab on the screen. The awakening rate was already at 90% and Glenn even did a little edit of the attribute he'd awaken.

According to Zero, the boy had very little talent in the fire attribute and even if he awaken with SSS rank, he'd still not be able t go far in life.

This was confusing as the rest of Sam's family were all fire attribute users. Did they all have low talents or was Sam just different.

Glenn didn't think much of it.

With Sam, the crystal underneath his palms began to glow softly but the light soon became brighter and brighter and brighter untill

Boom!

The crystal exploded knocking everyone off their feet and shaking the whole classroom.

The commotion disturbed everyone and soon there were a lot of teachers in the class room and students crowded at the door and windows.

In the air, above the platform, were words that shocked everyone, even Glenn.
