5 Chapter -05
Neil:
"It's time to wake up baby", My mother screamed.
Sometimes I don't get her screams,why she I mean.
I woke up, went for washroom. Got dressed & directed to downstairs. Mom made some food for me but I didn't have enough time to eat, so I went for class anyway.
I was heading for classes,there I saw someone I know. I mean I was struggling to remember who it was. I have this old forever problem of forgetting faces, I forget faces easily though I remember names.
She was passing through, I felt I know her. She didn’t stop for me though or she didn't notice me. I felt to call her but eventually thought of no use. Maybe I was wrong.
I went to classroom. It was Biology. I felt it was quite long.
After that two more courses went on.
On my 4th course, I got to see her again. It was our mutual I thought.
She sat right beside my seat. She didn't look at me at all.
I was afraid to ask her anything seeing her mood. She looked sad.
I was observing her the whole time, She was not attentive. She was making some circles on her note. Neverending circles.
"Frustrating", I uttered unintentionally.
I was shocked what I just said. Damn it.
She looked at me & again continued with the circles.
"I...I am sorry. I didn't mean to say that", I said.
She didn't reply rather she was doing her job.
"Hello,please don't mind. I just.. ", I stopped.
"It's okay, I didn't mind. It's boring I know", she talked back.
"If you don't mind,Have we met before? ", I asked shyly.
"Hmm,at your house on your birthday ", she said without looking at me.
"Ohhhh,shit", came out of my mouth.
I totally forgot her face,It's been a month, I couldn't blame myself this time.
"Nice to meet you again,when did you start classes? ", I asked
"Just now", she smiled a bit.
After the class,she left without saying anything. Well I wasn't expecting anyway.
She had taken different courses unlike mine. It was one mutual,where we met.
I was wondering if she liked to be alone or she couldn't communicate well.
Meanwhile luke, one my buddies, came & show me some of his new Xbox.
"Cool,huh?" he asked
"Already?why do you have so much money dude?" I teased with a chuckle.(what a dumb question)
Luke laughed & showing me other stuffs.
It was night when I got back home. I played some games with friends,ate outside. I was full,I was entering home knowing mom gonna scold me again.
"There, there, what time is it? Do you have cellphone? Did you see how many times I called? how irresponsible! ", Mom was like I will go on for eternity now,you wait.....
"Mom, calm down. My battery was dead. I am sorry, I made you worried, I will be responsible more", I tried to comfort saying nonstop sentences hoping she be calm.
"Come for dinner, It's already late", She told me in a dry voice.
I was afraid she would ask this & she did.
"Mmmm....Mom I alreadddy had dinnnne.."
She didn't give me time to complete my sentence. She was screaming.
"I was busy,still I made you dinner, you ate outside, great..Isn't it great?You think I'm your maid,huh?", She continued again.
"You're not pleasant, when You're angry", I didn't mean what the hell I just said now.
"Of course I'm not pleasant, You're so annoying!! " she scolded. She was so mad
It's true I should have been more better. She worked really hard,she did everything to make my life comfy. No way of repaying. Everytime she cooked If I didn't eat,she felt sad. That's normal I guess now.
"Mom,I am sorry. Won't do that again.." I requested.
She seemed okay, Didn't reply anything though.
"Let's eat mom,there's enough space in stomach to eat some,Let's eat", I tried.
"You don't have to,but next time.." mom rolled her eyes.
"Sure,I won't make you angry" I replied.
We went to table, I was sitting with her,watching her eating. It's relaxing. I made sure she took pills & took her to bed.
It was really late. I was feeling sleepy too.
I washed up myself. Finally was going to sleep.I was so tired that I was out in some seconds.
Pretty long day.
