4 Chapter - 4 : The Wedding

Riya sat on the sofa opposite to me. She looked at me....

" What happened to him that he was so rude and bad towards you? Do you know any reason?"

I looked up at her..."Now, I curse myself for loving him. He seemed nice, but he was not. He was a playboy , having girls around him. He may have gotten some of them to sleep with him as well."

Riya's eyes widened on my statement.

"Did he kept that attitude even after your marriage with him??"

I smiled a bit...."Yeah, but then he got someone for his lifetime as well." ( PS: note the sarcasm!)

"but what he actually did? He started everything after marriage?" another question appeared.

"yeahh! I still curse that day." I sighed.

*Flashback Started*

It was my wedding day. Dad seemed happy. Only some of our close family was invited. I was wearing a red coloured lehenga, he chose for me. I always adored his choices. Dad had decided to get the wedding rituals done from the home itself, so he seemed busy. While checking everything, he came to me. He looked at me from top to bottom and kissed on my forehead.

"you're looking just like your mother. Pretty like her." he side-hugged me. I hugged him. Indeed , we were missing mom. He was a bit sad , for he will have to live alone. And I missed her being on my wedding. I missed the tips I could get from her before my marriage with Mahesh. He hugged me back and patted my back to make me calm. He then looked at me and took me outside wherein Mahesh was present with his friends.

In a brief period of time, we were married. All the rituals were done. I could see a tinge of sadness in Dad's eyes. I went to him and hugged me. He just asked me to take care. Mahesh also assured him that he will take good care of me. I was indeed happy.

He took me to his home. It was indeed lavish bungalow

I was mesmerized at the view of it. As the driver stopped the car, I got out of the car, and was adoring the bungalow when Mahesh slipped his hand around my waist. I glanced at him..He smiled...

"Did you like your new home?"

"Indeed, this is so beautiful." I let out a chuckle.

He smiled as he pulled me closer..."come with me, I have some more surprises for you." he winked at me and held my hand and we walked inside the bungalow.

It was reallly a grand bungalow. He took me inside and looked at me....

"So Mrs.Ruhana Suri, It is all yours." he winked at me.

I blushed a little. I still thought of it as a dream. I smiled and hugged him the next moment. He smeared my head and then cupped my face. He kissed on my forehead and then showed me a room.

The room was lavish in itself. One could easily see how lavishly he lived. And here, I was , to be with him in every manner I want. I was not only a new member but the mistress of this house as he says. I was lost in admiring the room , that I came out of my trance, when he placed a kiss on my nape. I shivered and looked at him. He smiled at me. I think he noticed that how his touch affected me. He looked at me...

"Are you fine?"

I nodded. He smiled and checked his watch...

"Sorry Ruhana, I need to go. I have to make a call. You change and settle down. I will catch you in a while." he informed me.

" Now, what is your work today? Busy on your wedding night as well..huhh!" I pouted, almost shouting.

He smiled as he locked his hands round my waist...

"I am sorry! But business you know! I need to go. " he tried to convince me.

I jerked his hands..."okay fine...Go! when your work is so important then why did you marry me. I hate you!" I shouted at him and sat on the bed.

He smiled , came near me....kissed on my cheek...."but i love you baby!" he said in a naughty tone and left.

I sighed as I watched him going out of the room. He had already asked servants to bring my luggage in the room. And I knew that he'll be late, so decided to set my things at that time. I changed into casuals and started unpacking my things. I was surprised that there was a place for my things done automatically. I smiled and settled all the things up. I checked the clock. it was 4 am. I was surprised...Mahesh was out the whole night and here I was up waiting for him. I sat on the bed to relax myself.

I closed my eyes and and tried to relax, when suddenly the door was opened. I was horrified, but calmed a bit on seeing Mahesh.

"You almost scared me Mahesh!" I said.

He sat on the bed. I moved close to him and kept my hand on his shoulder...

" Done with your work? Now you're not going anywhere...got that!" I said excitedly as I wanted to spend time with him. But to my utmost horror, he jerked my hand...

"Sorry Ruhana...not now! I have to go!"

"What?? Again! Not fair! " i almost shouted.

"Sorry, but I need to." He replied me rudely and went into the washroom.

I was left surprised. What could have happened to him? I tried talking to him, but he replied rudely. i thought that it would be some work pressure , so I neglected it...But then.....

The biggest Nightmare of my life was waiting for me...
