1 Chapter - 1 : My Happiness

I was so happy ...why won't I be? My dad agreed to my wedding with Mahesh. Mahesh had finally convinced them for the wedding. I hugged my dad....

"Thanks dad! I love you so much."

He smiled as he patted on my head...."Your happiness is my happiness Princess! I just want you to be happy."

I smiled wider. Just then the doorbell rang. I rushed to open the door. My smile widened on seeing the person....It was Vineet, my best friend.

I hugged him with a force that he stumbled a few steps, but he controlled himself. He was surprised ...he parted the hug and looked at me...

"hey Princess.....you look so happy? May I know the reason??"

I smiled wide when he calls me Princess. I never stopped him calling me that, it makes me feel special. I held his hand and pulled him in. My dad smiled, Vineet looked at him...

"What has happened to her??"

My Dad smiled...."She'll tell you . Her face reflects her happiness. I'll see you in a while."

He left and Vineet turned to me...."Now, will you tell me Princess, what makes you so happy??"

I smiled...or say, I was constantly smiling today. I made him sit on the couch and revealed the news...

"Mahesh asked Dad for our marriage, and he agreed. I am so happy Vineet!!" I clutched his hand tightly as I told him this.

He smiled a little..."wow! That's great! "

I smiled again, I was happy on the mere thought of my wedding with Mahesh. I stood up from my seat and glanced at him...

"And now, Vineet, till my wedding, you're going to accompany me. You were always by my side, now you'll help me in shopping as well. And tell Bulbul to meet me soon..okay! " I said looking at him.

From his facial expressions, I felt that he was in deep thinking. I sat beside him and patted on his shoulder. He looked at me....

"What happened Vineet? Are you not happy??" I questioned him.

He looked at me, I could bet , he would understand even my expressions, he smiled....

"Nothing like that Ruhana! Its just I was thinking something."

"Please keep your CID stuff away from me Vineet!" I frowned.

He smiled at me...."Okay! I will do what my Princess says!" he said cutely.

I smiled ear to ear listening him. He forwarded his hand towards me....

"So, the news calls for a celebration. What say??"

"Yeahh!! Ofcourse!" I replied placing my hand on his.

He held my hand and we moved out of the mansion.

Café Royal Expresso

We reached to my favorite café. We used to come here everytime he was free, because being a CID officer, he get very less time. I was surprised as Viren and Bulbul were also there. I looked at him and he smiled coyly. I loved this shade of his personality where he always knew what I wanted. Bulbul hugged me. She was like a little sister to me , though we only met a year ago that only through Vineet. She had been my best friend after Vineet. As expected, Vineet had already told them about my wedding plans, and so she started complaining,

"Di, That's not fair. You didn't even let me get a hint of this. I hate you!" I smiled at her cute complaint.

"Aww....Even I didn't know about this Bulbul. It happened unexpectedly." I said.

"Okay Fine! I forgive you this time....but not next time! Okay! If you tried keeping secrets, I'll not talk to you ever." She said.

We smiled at her cute complaints and at the same time, we heard another manly voice....

"Even I will not talk to her ever, if she keeps secrets with you or me."

I turned and was surprised to see Mahesh there. He smiled....

"You could have told me , that you're coming here. I would've made arrangements for that,"

"but , you had a meeting right?" I said looking at him.

He smiled coyly again..."Yeah and now this Café.... Café Royal Expresso belongs to me. I've taken over this!"

We were surprised at this. I could just utter a congrats. He smiled and sidehugged me....

"Aren't you going to introduce me to your friends??"

I smiled and introduced the four of them. Soon, we all were sitting and chitchatting. Seeing Mahesh mingling with my friends made me smile. It seemed that we knew each other since ages. Meanwhile, my phone rang. Obviously, it was a call from my dad...aww...he's such a sweetheart. I answered the call....

" I came out with Vineet Dad. Will be reaching home in half an hour." I replied and cut the call.

Mahesh looked at me...."What happened? All well?"

" yeah! But I need to go home. Dad has to leave for some party I guess. I need to be home." I replied looking at him.

"Okay, so lets go!" vineet said looking at me.

Mahesh smiled...."yeah, Infact, even I need to go somewhere. Come Ruhana , I'l drop you home. I hope you won't mind?" he said looking at Vineet.

Vineet smiled...."No not at all! She's all yours!" he said, and I felt blush coming over my cheeks whiel Mahesh hugged me..."indeed She is! "

And then bidding bye to my friends , we left for home , while they sat for some more time in the café.
