1 chapter 1: The beginning of everything

'When death overtakes you, and treachery surrounds you from everywhere.

You will feel helplessness, sadness, anger, as well as pain, from the loss.

You will remember the past and the present,

You will remember the details of your life and the strangers you have lived with,

You will remember who wanted you all the best and loved you sincerely,

And every person was pretending to be with you, and he was feigned affection.

You will remember family, friends,

The dreams and the ambitions.

Only then will you realize many details that you had overlooked in your past life.

To realize, finally, and not too late, that everything that happened around you from the people you met, was the biggest lie I lived behind the scenes.'

Kadris, that man who saved her life and treated her like a little sister and loved her as a good companion once,

He was now standing across from her with an indignant and arrogant expression, bearing a lip of wrath and anger, as he revealed the fact that her two sisters and two children had been killed.

And he directs that weapon towards her, as a result of responding to her, after her desire to rebel.

In the end, she insidiously lost her breath after being shot in the heart, which reduced her chances of survival, as well as the lack of access to treatment.

Step by step, he left the booby-trapped site, unmoved, under her fierce gaze at him, as she watched him as he headed for the helicopter.

Little by little, breathing became difficult, speech became difficult, and the pain was felt as a result of movement.

At that time, the fire that the soldiers had set in the secluded area had engulfed half of the forest, trapping the corpses around it.

Such a horrific and miserable sight, hastened her collapse as she pleaded for the half-disfigured bodies of her sister and the two children from the fire.

Even so, the sunset became disoriented, as she lost the ability to stay awake and breathe.

Over time, the place grew darker, but the feeling of someone's embrace and those salty drops that touched her face belatedly rendered her immobile, bound at the mercy of the gods and the arrogance of fate.

Chapter 1-2: A Late Awakening

........

Under this tyrannical darkness, the twilight has regained its light, heralding the beginning of a new morning and a different clean life.

In the city of fog, right in one of the luxury London apartments on Mayfair Street between Hyde Park and West End.

The apartment consisted of 3 bedrooms, an open plan kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffee/tea maker, 2 bathrooms, a modern walk-in shower, guest lounge, with free Wi-Fi, it was simple, spacious, and elegant.

It has a classic, modern feel.

The consistent combination of white, black and gray.

When Caroline woke up, her body was visibly sweaty.

The towel hanging over her forehead had slipped dramatically, as soon as she straightened from her seat.

The first thing she did after that, was trying to breathe deeply.

Due to illness, her lips faltered from suffocation.

Her cheeks were rosy, and her nose was blocked from last night. The nightmare I dreamed of seemed very realistic.

She couldn't believe she was okay, when she looked at the electronic clock on the top of the shelf, and the date and time came out.

Her expression became blank for a moment, as she blinked in confusion.

Her dry throat, her hoarse voice, seemed sore for a while before she got it back.

After all, this place was familiar,

As her old room, and the first apartment they own.

Thinking about it, it made her pale expression, softer and gentler.

Right after that, she straightened up silently, she actually needed to leave and take a look.

As she took a few steps forward, she could hear the noise of the television coming from the guest room.

Seeing that slender, stumbled body among the covers sleeping with a strained expression.

She simply smiled, then she turned off the TV, and then she continued walking towards him.

When she looked at him with a careful and pensive expression, she noticed the dark circles under his eyelids from last night.

With a frowning expression, she reached out to her messy blonde hair and carefully arranged it.

As a result, he awoke to her, looking at her with a confused expression.

"You've woken up!" He blinked repeatedly, for a moment he seemed surprised.

Nevertheless, he quickly straightened out his seat before all else, allowing her to sit down.

Because of a fever, she was unconscious for three nights in a row.

Leon, was so worried about her that his limbs trembled.

Each time this happened, he really had to go along with it bitterly and try to ease the situation, with no cure available.

“Mmm..” she nodded with a friendly smile, despite her paleness.

Then she said, "Thank you"

"Is this a confession?" His lips shrunk amusement, as he looked at her.

"no"

Nevertheless, she was glad to meet him, the thought that he was still alive as the rest, and in good health before her, comforted her.

In the end, his frowning expression disappeared, but he didn't stop himself from pinching her marshmallow-like cheek, and checking on her.

"It's good that you're fine. What time is it?" He asked while yawning, with slightly teary eyelashes, while extending his limbs.

“8 and 50 min.” Without thinking, she simply tilted her head.

They are already late. So, it would be good to postpone university.

“Oh” he groaned. He shook his head with a calm nod, stretched his lips together for a second, and then went to the bathroom.

When he came back, he resumed looking at her while drying himself.

“Kie kei, what do you want to have for lunch?”

"I'm thinking of visiting the father" she explained with a wide smile. Then she left the sofa after she arranged it.

"Good. Since you are going, I will accompany you”

He nodded understandingly, and then went to the kitchen, without comment.

At this very moment, she looked around with a pensive look. She laughed lightly, then went back to her room to freshen up.

Compared to what she experienced in that nightmare.

It somehow went back to 6 years before the disaster.

Which means, she's still connected to Dennis.

Which gives her a chance to make up for him.

Upon thinking about it, she sighed sadly.

He was a good person, but she refused him coldly, many times, and even ran away from him.

Despite that, he remained stubborn, persistent even after their marriage.
