Kyleena collapsed under the sudden pain that struck her, and Lagiel rushed to her side. "Lu! Hang in there Lu!" She tried to take off the mask but as soon as she touched it Kyleena started spasming in her arms so Lagiel retracted her hand. Melior rushed forward as well and cast a cure minor wounds spell, hoping it would ease her pain, but nothing happened. "What are you doing help her!" Lagiel screamed at the gnome beside her. By now everyone was around Kyleena looking impotently as she was writhing in pain. A few minutes later the mask fell off by itself and broke into tiny pieces, as they were looking at Kyleena as he was gasping at air they couldn't find anything different on her face. "Are you okay? Lu, are you okay?" Lagiel asked Kyleena with a voice breaking with grief at seeing her sister like this. "Yes, I am fine." She breathed weakly." I just need to get used to this." "Used to what?" Theron asked while bending down to help up. "My eyes I have been blinded. Permanently. Or well rather I can see even with my eyes closed, into the Astral plane. I see you all as blue silhouettes." She sighed. "I was too eager. Heh, too eager isn't really the word for it. I was a moron, thought nothing is permanent in this world." She laughed self deprecatingly." I mean we have magic, anything can be healed right? But the prompt I got told me otherwise." She sighed." I have become blind to the real world, through a godly 'gift' of Odin I am now a Valkyrie, a chosen of Odin." She got up and shuddered."The gods I think they are playing with us. We are their pawns in a game we don't understand yet."

As Kyleena slowly opened her eyes they shone with a light blue glow. Her eye lost its pupil and instead had turned into the same color it glowed with, together with white spots forming spirals, lines, or were alone. It was as if one was looking at the night sky in the daylight. Garrot, Theron, and Melior shuddered, that wasn't an eye one should see on a mortal, was it? "Your eye?" Melior gaped incredulously "What about it?" "It looks like the starry sky. This is most definitely not normal! I will escort you outside." Theron said in a voice that insinuated that he would not accept a no for an answer.

"No way I am not leaving and neither are you! They need our help. "Kyleena snapped back at him. "Okay If you can push me away as you did back at the door then you can stay!" Theron argued knowing full well that right now Kyleena must have been weakened from the painful experience she just went through. "Fine! I will show you that I am still stronger than you are!" She angrily declared and started stomping towards Theron. But as she grasped his shoulder all strength left her and she collapsed. Luckily Theron was paying attention and he managed to catch her before she fell, after that he chided her. "See you are not fit to fight yet, you should sit this one out for now." Kyleena looked at Lagiel, but contrary to her expectations she betrayed her." I think you should go with Theron as well, he seems like a nice sort of guy. But Theron, don't go back to the camp, you should stay close by, either here or upstairs in the cave."

"Yes, boss!" Theron mock saluted at Lagiel and started leading Kyleena who was still in his arms because she was still wobbly a bit. After they left the other three looked at the door leading to the next room. It shone with a metallic tint in the red light of the torch. As they closed in on it they noticed that it was made of iron. As luck would have it, the door has started rusting away. So even though it was locked. When Garrot exerted a bit of fore the door tongue fell out and the door opened. It opened to another corridor following it for a few twists and turns they have gotten to an open and empty chamber, maybe a few small bugs were scurrying about outside of the torchlight's area. On the other side of the room, they could see a wooden door. "Well let's hope we can open this one too..." Lagiel sighed as she closed in on the door and opened it, to her surprise 4 skeletons greeted her on the other side.

One of the skeletons jumped on her as soon as the door opened and tried to claw her eyes out. As luck was on her side she looked back at her team to declare that the door was open and the skeleton only crashed into her. Sending them both sprawled on the ground Melior saw that and stepped over Lagiel and her skeletal partner and stationed himself before the other skeletons. One of the other skeletons rushed at him with his rusty sword trying to cut him open. But his sword only managed to cut the cleric's outer clothes, his armor mitigating most of the damage. But his happiness was about to end when a zombie jumped on him from high above the ceiling, sending him to the ground while maintaining its balance on his back. This left Garrot as the sole standing member of their team. The two other skeletons all rushed at him, he managed to block one of the attackers but the last one managed to slash his unprotected leg making a long gash through it.

He clenched his teeth and swung his sword at one of the skeletons in front of him and he cleaved the undead in half, separating its legs from its torso. Lagiel grabbed the leg of the skeleton with her right hand and tossed it to the side with such a brutal force that it crashed into the wall and fell apart.

Your Attack: throw affected the skeleton warrior.

The last skeleton who was on the other side of the zombie and Melior rushed at Kyleena with a rusty mace in hand, it trampled over Melior and shoved the zombie away, making it lose balance and fall off of its prey, Melior not wasting this chance jumped up tried to turn undead. To his dismay, only the skeleton who pushed the zombie off of his back hesitated for a little while, but even him continued his charge, but this hesitation gave Lagiel enough time to roll out of the mace's path and avoid the blow. The zombie clambered to his feet and rushed at the pesky cleric again, this time clawing at his face and creating a long gash on it. Lagiel jumped to her feet and slammed her staff into the face of the skeleton with a mace crushing its skull in half.

Your attack: hit the skeleton warrior for 8 damage.

The skeleton with the scimitar attacked Garrot again this time cutting through his armor. Luckily the armor still slowed the sword down so it was just a shallow wound it still hurt him, so in his rage he brought his sword high up into the sky and tried to cleave this monster in half, but that is when something unexpected happened! The skeleton that had been cut in half grabbed his legs and that put him off-balance, which made his attack miss the intended target and crashed harmlessly into the ground.

Melior seeing that Garrot was having such a hard time retreated from the zombie and started casting cure minor wounds. The zombie turned around and went for Lagiel as she seemed to be making a dent on its forces. As it charged at Lagiel with a roar announcing its attack, Lagiel managed to sidestep the charging monster she released her psi blades and slashed at the monster twice in quick succession.

Your spell: Psi Blades took effect, now you have a psi-blade coming out of your hand it deals 1-6 slashing or piercing damage.

But somehow the zombie managed to evade her quick counter by grabbing her arms. As they were locked in a stalemate Lagiel noticed an intelligent and evil glint in the monster's eye. Not knowing what it would do next she quickly tore her arms away and jumped back. Meanwhile, Garrot was barraged with an unending stream of attacks under the skeleton with the rusty sword. After getting the feel for the way it attacks he smashed his shield in the face of the skeleton before him making it loose balance and kicked out trying to send the annoyance, on his feet, flying. Although he managed to free one of his legs the half skeleton was still clutching his right leg unwilling to let go. That is when Melior joined in again rushing at the zombie fighting Lagiel he lifted his mace high and with a shrill battle cry he bashed at the zombie's head, making it cave in. But that wasn't enough, the zombie gave a backslap at the gnome sending him skidding back for a few meters and making him cough blood. Lagiel used that time to use psi blast sending the zombie, the skeletons and Garrot tumbling away. As this happened the skeleton holding Garrot's leg lost its grip flying further back and crashing into the wall, falling apart as well.

Your spell: Psi-blast affected Garrot Keldar, Skeleton warrior, Skeleton warrior, Zombie leader.

As Melior wasn't affected by the Psi-blast he was the first on his feet and rushed at the Zombie trying to get up trying to hit him again. This time the mace hit the shoulder of the zombie, making it collapse again from the heavy blow. The last skeleton was up on its feet really fast and rushed over to Lagiel only to be greeted with a staff into its head.

You hit: Skeleton Warrior with a two-handed staff and dealt 9 Health point damage.

"Homerun!" Shouted Lagiel as the skeleton head flew off of its body and smashed into the wall turning into fine bone powder. As this was happening Garrot got up narrowly avoiding the skeleton head flying his way. "Hey watch it!" Garrot shouted back at Lagiel who was bending over as she was laughing so hard at her pun. As this was happening the Zombie managed to get up and clawed at Melior, who managed to stop the claws with his shield and hit back at the monster with his morningstar. Sadly his arms weren't long enough to hit the monster so he missed completely. "Can you help me out here? I am being pressured!" He shouted back as he was holding the shield in front of him defending from the attacks the Zombie was throwing at him. Lagiel and Garrot charged at the occupied zombie at the same time. Lagiel thrust her Psi-blades into the zombie while Garrot completely missed on the erratically moving undead.

You hit: Skeleton Warrior with a psi-blade and dealt 6 Health point damage.

You hit: Skeleton Warrior with a psi-blade and dealt 3 Health point damage.

The zombie turned around slashing its claws at the women behind it. But as Lagiel was on the back of the zombie with the psi-blades embedded inside it, the fast turn made the psi blades cut through the zombie cutting itself in half on them.

You hit: Skeleton Warrior with a psi-blade and dealt 6 Health point damage.
