11 Meeting His Mother

I see her grab the gun from her backpack as she handed it over to me.

I flip the location setting it to South Park. Then input my address. I shot the ground jumping through with her.

We ended up right in front of my house.

"Do you want to visit your family before the mission?"

"Wait, is that okay?"

"Oh course, you should probably tell them about your new job. Considering your going to be busy a lot. Just don't tell them many details. I'll just stay out here."

"Wait... Did you want to meet them?"

She tensed up.

"Uhh I'm good.. I don't want to give them the wrong impression."

I felt my cheeks heat up.

"No, it's not like that. I just want your help coming up with a story in case they ask. You are my coworker after all."

"Ohh uhh, yeah I guess that's fine then."

I walked up to the door slightly knocking then opened it to come face to face with my mother.

"Oh hi Bubby."

I felt my face heat up 10 shades as I quickly looked over at her seeing her look at me with the most amused look on her face.

"Mom, I'm 21. Stop calling me that already." I said hoping she would just listen for once.

"Oh how can I stop calling you that? You'll always be my baby." She said while grabbing my cheek.

I brushed her hand off praying she would stop embarrassing the fuck out of me.

I hear Jess chuckle behind me.

"Oh Kyle, who is this?"

"Mom, this is Jess."

"Oh my Kyle, you didn't tell me you have a girlfriend from college. Especially one so pretty."

My face sparked in more heat the moment she label her as my girlfriend.

"Uhh n-no... It's not like that, she's just a friend and uhh my new coworker."

"Well I'm Shelia, it's nice to hear that Kyle has made a friend and classmate too I guess. He's a big sweetheart, I still don't know how he's never had a...."

My heart sank not wanting her to finish.

"Okay, okay mom. That's enough, I just wanted to say hi was all.." I cut her off nervously.

"Oh okay Bubby, hope college is fun. Your dorm isn't filthy is it? You don't want me to come by and clean it for you,?"

"No mom, I keep my room way cleaner than others."

"Okay good, well it was nice to meet you Jess."

"The feelings are mutual Mrs....."

"Broflovski."

I see her light up looking slightly caught off by the name.

"Oh Broflovski? Isn't that Jewish?" She asked.

'Oh god... I hope she doesn't judge... That would be awkward.'

"Yes sweetheart, we are a jewish family. Actually my husband is Jewish. I married him and had Kyle here. He was raised in the Jewish religion.

I see her surprisingly smile.

"So you celebrate Hanukkah every year?"

"It's actually getting closer to that time. If you want to come over for to celebrate with us. Your always welcome, my Bubby's friends are always welcome."

I couldn't help but groan and facepalm fairly hard.

"Thank, you. It's actually been a long time since I practiced the faith myself."

I looked up at her confused.

"Wait.... What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well it may not seem like it but my dad was quite against religion. That was until he met my mother who was Jewish.

My eyes widen as I was left stunned.

"Wait... You were raised Jewish too?" I asked feeling my breath quicken.

She nodded.

"I was taught the religion growing up. My mother helped my father convert too."

I couldn't help but smile as I felt my heart flutter.

'Oh my god.... Has god finally pushed me the absolute perfect girl for me?'

"Okay mom, we are going to go now." I said trying to make my way to the door.

"Kyle, can I talk to you before you go?" She said stopping me in my track.

"Uhh yeah." I said walking back to her feeling a little uneasy.

"Sweetie, why don't you make yourself at home." She said talking to Jess.

She took me to the kitchen leaving Jess to sit on the couch.

"Kyle, be serious with me. Do you like this girl? You never come across a girl like this, especially in this town."

"Mom, she's just a friend." I said becoming defensive.

"Oh okay, well don't let this FRIEND slip through your fingers now."

"Mom, I know what your doing. It's just... I don't know if she would feel the same way about me."

"Okay okay... I understand that so... Why don't you spend some time with her and give it some time. Honestly from what it seems, she has an eye for you."

My heart raced slightly just of the thought.

"Wait, why would you say that?"

"Let's just say, us mom's can sense that kind of stuff. After all she did go in the house to meet me."

"So..... You think she likes me?"

"Oh course Buddy, why do you think she is here still? Also no girl ever gets that prettied up and hang out with a guy she doesn't like."

I look over seeing her crossing her arms while looking around.

I felt a small smile crawl on my face.

"Okay mom, we got to go or we will be late for class."

"Okay Buddy, just remember what I said."

"Yeah, I'll think about it."

I walked toward Jess seeing her look at the pictures on the wall.

She smiled up at me getting on her feet.

We make it to the door when she spoke up.

"Your mom seems nice."

"Yea she's usually friendly but she has her moments. Just ask my friends."

She snickered to herself. "Don't we all?"

I smiled looking over at her.

"Yeah, you could say that. So you ready to go to the college?"

"Yeah, I'm ready."
