25 Final Outcome

I grabbed the knife while grinding my teeth to the point they could crack. He laughed hysterically as he pushed deeper and deeper. I screamed out in pain.

At that moment a gunshot was heard echoing the area.

I felt less pressure on me as I looked around in a daze seeing Kyle with a smoking pistol. Cody fell off of me and collapsed on the ground.

"K-Kyle." I cried out.

I heard crunching from snow sliding next to me. I felt a hand place on my face.

"Jess.."

"I don't want to die.. Not now." I managed to say before coughed up blood.

I hug him,tight.

"You won't.. we will make it. I promise."

I weakly placed my hand on his face.

"I.. love..."

Everything went fuzzy then eventually went black.

Kyle's POV

'Damn it.'

I looked over at Cody seeing his portal gun in his holster. I grit my teeth in pain as I desperately crawled to him. I felt as if I could pass out at any moment but I had to push through..

'Come on.. Keep pushing.. For her.'

I hold out my hand grabbing the portal gun. I tried focusing on the location but everything was going fuzzy.

'Damn it! Push through.. Don't go out like this!!'

I see 'Agent Headquarters'. I quickly aim under Jess and shoot seeing her get sucked in the portal. I groaned out as I placed the gun to the ground right below me. I let out a shaky breath as I pressed the trigger then everything went black.

"Agent K... Agent K?"

I opened my eyes seeing two people hovering over me with masks and surgical gowns. I groaned as I looked down seeing my stomach patched. All of my senses came back to me and I quickly sat up.

"Jess! Where is she?"

"She is being operated on."

"I need to see her, now."

I walked in a room seeing her body extremely pale on the surgery table.

'Jess.'

I teared up badly as I walked up to her seeing them look for any fatal stab wounds. I walked up to her.

"Is she going to be okay?"

"We will do the best we can but.. she need to rest with some blood packs. She lost too much blood where she was stabbed."

I looked down at her seeing she was so pale I would have thought she was dead. I held back more tears as I nodded.

"Whatever it takes. Please save her."

-6 hours later-

Jess's POV

I woke up while looking around unfamiliar with what happened after I blacked out. I felt something on my hand causing me to look down. My heart jolted when I see Kyle sleeping with his head placed at the edge of the table as he was sitting on a chair.

"Kyle?"

He opened his eyes, the moment he saw me he quickly sat up.

"Jess, oh my god." He chocked out while hugging me tight. I sat up hugging him just as tight ignoring the pain in my stomach.

"I thought I lost you." He cried out.

"I'm here Kyle." I said with my eyes close refusing to let him go.

We both cried in each others arms from a moment when he pulled away.

"Jess... I want to stick with that promise."

I smiled with chocking up.

"I was hoping you would say that."

He held my hands.

"You ready to have our normal lives?" He asked while looking down at me.

I looked up in his eyes.

"I'm ready."
