45 Side Chapter 1

19 June.

Johnson Residence.

It was near 1:00 am and almost everyone was asleep except Leonard He was workibg as usual. Just while working his eyes looked at the date on the bottom and then he realized that Father's day is pretty near and yet Sabrina and him have not decided anything. Without even thinking for a second, Leonard closed his laptop and went near Sabrina's room. Though he saw the lights off but knew she must be awake so he knocked on the door as quietly as possible.

After 15 mins of knocking.

"If your reason is not good Leonard..."

Before Sabrina could complete her sentence Leonard showed the current date and then showed 21 June (Father's day) to her.

"Hmm...Saved by dad." Sabrina said

It has been record of this brother-sister duo to celebrate this Father's day in the best way so of course, how could they forget it this year? Although they generally plan all this a little before but this time due to busy life they almost had forgotten this.

"So....what should we do this year?" Leonard asked as he sat on the chair.

Usually it was Sabrina's ideas and efforts of Leonard. In short everything's divided.

"Hmm...we can give the video which we have made from last years... you know like a collection or something." Sabrina said.

"Good idea but that is like a one moment thing. What about the whole day?" Leonard said.

In the last years, these two literally have done everything. A picnic, a whole day out with their dad, special dinner, lunch breakfast in the favorite restaurants... What more?

"We never cooked food, right? Like by our own hands personally." Sabrina said.

"That is....Hey, yeah great idea!" Leonard said.

Just at this moment, Mr. Harry who had got out of his room to drink water entered in Sabrina's room.

"What are you two doing at this hour?" Mr. Harry asked.

Of course Mr. Harry don't remember these days. So he had no clue about this.

"Ah...Brother Leonard was giving me advice." Sabrina said as she kept her one hand on Leonard's shoulder.

"Advice? At this hour?" Mr. Harry asked.

"Life advice, study advice...You know." Sabrina said.

Mr. Harry was in no mood to investigate all this at 1:00 am so he just went down stairs to drink water.

"So, only cooking? Anything memorable?" Leonard asked.

"Well...buying gifts from their own money? Nah....and no I am not gonna borrow from you, you take way too much interest." Sabrina said.

When they still were kids Sabrina once borrowed some pocket money from Leonard to buy a gift which in return she had to pay a lot of interest.

"Hahahaha....good times!" Leonard laughed as he remembered those days.

"Greeting cards!" Sabrina said as she checked her phone.

Yes, Leonard & Sabrina had done everything but not this simple greeting card thing.

"Doesn't that sound childish..?" Leonard asked.

"Well....Your choice. Because I think its a good idea." Sabrina said as she shrugged her shoulders.

After thinking for some mins Leonard agreed to this as well.

After discussing for some more mins, Leonard went back to his room.

Dawson Residence

Ally was looking at some different ideas and recipes to make father's day special. She was planning to make her father's favorite dishes and do some other things as well.

Willson Residence.

Alena was just in her deep sleep as she technically does not celebrate any days related to parents as they left her 10 years ago. Though Alena shows she does not care about this but deep down even she feels like celebtrating these days.

Jones Residence.

Harriet had everything planned. She had selected photos to put on social media, some quotes. Of course what she would be cooking was all decided.

Angelo Residence.

Well...Mike had a plan to watch movies with his father just like they used to when Melisa was there. This was same for every year and Mike did not plan to change this as this idea was Melisa's idea.

Alexander Residence.

Just like other years, Sam cacelled all his dad's meetings and planned the whole day out on the apartment which was away from the crowded city.

Texas Residence.

Austin was preparing his golf kit as of course on the 21st him and his father would be spending a whole day on golf course and enjoying there.

21st June.

As planned, Leonard and Sabrina started cooking in kitchen and of course their greeting cards were ready. There plan was to cook the breakfast and present the greeting card with it.

When Mr. Harry and Mr. Jaden (Leonard's father) woke up. The breakfast was ready by their side table and a greeting card with some loving words written in it.

"Happy Father's day!" Leonard and Sabrina said together when Mr. Harry & Mr. Jaden came downstairs.

Mr. Harry and Mr. Jaden had a wide smile after reading and seeing Leonard's & Sabrina's efforts.

Ally prepared the breakfast and presented it on the dining table when her father came to do breakfast.

"Happy Father's day!" Ally said.

This made Mr. Dawson's day. Of course this greeting was better than 'good morning'

Mike prepared popcorn and started the movie as he said "Dad, come the movie is about to start!"

"Here you go with the barbeque and let me bring the drinks." Sam said.

"Sit down son. You already work hard in a lot of things, rest and watch this movie. This was a blockbuster sci-fi of our time" Mr. Alexander said.

Mr. Texas focused on the golf ball and then took a great shot.

"Oooh, nice shot but I will do it better. I mean come on just because its your day does not mean you will win.' Austin said.

"Go on son try." Mr Texas said.

Though this Father-son duo acted casually but actually they do really get less time to spend the day together so Mr. Texas and Austin both enjoyed this day to the fullest and continued their game and after that had a great meal.

Social media updated, quotes posted. Ready with food. Harriet was all set to prepare to wish her father happy father's day.

"My daughter chose good photos of me, huh?" Harriet's father said as he put his arm around her and patted her head.

"Of course. A hero has to look like a hero." Harriet said.

Alena just looked at her old photo of herself with her dad and mom. Keeping a cold expression she said happy father's day in her heart and went to her part time job in library.
