The Alpha Empire... It was a group formed by the general interest of kings and ruling parties from all over the world, with its headquarters in Saudi Arabia. They dominated many top businesses globally and had major shares in the oil wells and resources of nations.

"Uh? you're working with the white widow?

Mia glanced at the middle-aged man once more with a grin. "you could say that"

"Do you realize the consequences of your actions could be fatal if the chairman found out about this? The middle-aged man said with an awestruck tone.

"Relax Albert. I assure you, that old man is too preoccupied with his own matters, just how is he going to know about my every move? Besides... I'm doing this for the good of the company, only the White Widow can protect Conrad from the Alpha Empire when the time comes. Mia said, making efforts to sound reassuring.

" I just hope you don't do something you'll regret, " He said with a gloomy sigh. "when is it happening?"

"What?"

"I mean the attack"

"Oh, that... It'll happen tonight"

"Woosh!"

There was flickering of streetlights along with the whirling of wind, as four black cars with tinted glasses drove along a fast road. These vehicles were moving in a straight pattern. A young woman was seated alongside a man who was dressed in a suit, at the back of the third car in the line.

"Why won't they accept our proposal? I mean... the terms of the agreement we've put forth is highly favorable on both sides" she pouted.

The man who was seated with her, closed his eyes and gave an exasperated sigh "Since they asked for more time to think about the agreement, we just have to be patient" he said.

"Patient? Do you think I have all the time in the world to keep waiting? You're the chief executive for goodness sake, I know you have a way to convince them if you wanted" She stated as an angry frown creased her forehead.

Hearing this, he said "listen to me Hazel, I've told you times without number, Mia doesn't stand a chance against you, your achievements have far overshadowed hers, so why work yourself to death?

She stared at him in blank amazement. " I don't even know you anymore, now it seems like you're secretly supporting my sister and not me "

"Oh, God! Please don't start now "

"Do they have the right to keep me waiting after all the efforts I have made to secure my own en..." Her statement was interrupted as she caught a sight.

From her position, she could see a man holding a briefcase and a gun, obstructing the way in front.

"Huh? An attack?" [Would anyone be so stupid...]

Hazel had a dazed expression. The reason for her surprise wasn't just being the fact that this person intended to single-handedly attack the four vehicles, but also because there were seven-star agents present in these vehicles, ten at that.

The chief executive picked up a radio transmitter and gave some orders.

Jaewon pointed the gun at the car in the forefront, the agents within, had icy stares and unblinking eyes, obviously not intimidated by the slightest bit. They didn't even bother with the breaks, instead, they had actually increased their speed. Jaewon pulled the trigger, with a slight hum, followed by a cracking noise, he aimed a red energy bolt at the head of the driver.

"Catckha!"

Blood oozed from the forehead of the driver as he slammed against the steering wheel, the car then took a turn to the left and smashed into the pavement.

"BANG!"

The agents in the car, had bewildered expressions, this was due to the fact that the car was bulletproof, and no bullet holes could be seen, then just how... Taking a closer look, they discovered a tiny pin-like hole on the windscreen. They grabbed their respective weapons and made their way out of the car.

Men in black suits could be seen exiting each vehicle with their guns and opened fire at him. Jaewon's vision turned red, and his super-fast reflexes were immediately activated.

"RAT-A-TAT-A-TAT-A-TATAT"

Gunshots rang like a bell followed by the heavy rain of bullets. Jeawon dove to the ground and rolled over to a corner, avoiding them all, and had his back against a barricade. He turned around and aimed at a second agent.

"POW!"

It was a another head shot! The agents made quick glances at their fallen comrade, before arranging themselves into a formation and resumed their barrage, sending series of bullets striking against his cover. They gradually approached him while shooting, without giving any break.

[I have to end this quickly]

Time seemed to slow down by a great deal, as a hint of light shone slightly on Jaewon's pupils, he left the cover displaying swift movements and charged at them in a zig-zag motion. His movements were so fast and precise, making it hard for the agents to aim at him. In the span of a single breath, Jaewon had already caught up to their position, he sent a shot at an agent, aiming at the forehead like before. He tilted his head in the nick of time to avoid an incoming bullet from another and released a second shot.

Jaewon noticed that there were five agent left, he speedily leaped up and latched onto the gun of an agent before nailing a shot at his lower abdomen, giving him no time to react. He snagged the body of the agent and used it as a cover against the incoming rain of bullets from the rest before continuing his onslaught.

From the sidelines, Hazel had a dumbstruck expression, as she observed the whole battle scene.

Were seven-star agents so easy to deal with? When did they become so weak? Seven-star agent were high level personalities and we're capable of completing top missions, but right now they were being killed off like bunch of nobodies.

Just then, she realized a certain possibility...

[Those movements... Is he an ability user?]

"If anything happens, drive her out of here as fast as you can" the chief executive's low voice suddenly sounded in her ears. He had said those words to the driver in front.

"Are you crazy? What do you intend to do?" She questioned, while shouting at the top of her voice.

The chief executive didn't pay attention to her, he simply took out his gun, stepped out of the car, and lurked his way toward Jaewon's position.
