13 - HOME -

"Hyung, I forgot to ask you," Jimin spoke. They've been staying in the same hotel for three days now, and so far, nothing exciting had happened, except for the chaotic part of having to sleep in one bed.

Jimin wondered if the whole Alpha Centauri mess was over.

"Hmm?" was Suga's response from where he was lying on the bed.

Jimin placed his head on his hands and traced the wood lines of the table. He squirmed at his seat, trying to look for a more comfortable position.

"You once said that you saw the face of that guy who was trying to kill me, right?"

Suga nodded with his eyes still closed. "Yeah, the one from your house. I didn't see the faces of the ones who chased us from the cabin, though. They were wearing hooded cloaks. I did memorize their height and build."

Jimin nodded despite knowing the older couldn't see him anyway. "So, did you recognize the guy from my house? Uncle Tadashi said it's from the organization, so you probably recognize him even just a little."

At this, the older booy cracked one eye open. "Mhmm. Actually, each of our identity is hidden. We don't know each other. We only receive instructions from the organization. I know that there's an Agent J, or L, but I don't know who they are. I'm quite famous among the agents but even if we passed each other in the streets, they will still not know that it's me. Only the ones in the higher rank knew our faces. Maybe I'll describe to Y later the man's features, then he could possibly recognize the guy."

Jimin tilted his head, trying to absorb everything in.

"The only time we expose our faces to other agents is when or if we agree to do a mission together with other agents. In this case, some agents know other agents, but we don't really talk about that or expose each other. Personally, I know what P and H look like since they're my friends. And R as well, because I defeated him in order to get the position of being Agent S."

"Oh..." Jimin said, then something came into his mind. "So, if you're friends with Agent P and Agent H, then does that mean that you know their real names? And they also know yours?"

Suga was silent, and Jimin thought that he was already asleep. A few minutes later, when Jimin was already crawling unto his side of the bed, Suga spoke again.

"Agents are not supposed to reveal their true identity, especially our names. Unless. Unless you chose to trust that person enough to reveal your real name and identity. If the agent trusted the wrong person, then that will be the end of it. We're not really threatened to keep our real identity as a secret. It's just up to you how stupid you can be."

Jimin laid down and stared at the ceiling. He could hear Suga's breathing. It was calming.

"You still didn't answer my question," Jimin spoke softly.

Silence again.

Jimin turned to his right to look at his hyung. He was also lying on his back like Jimin.

He could easily trace the older boy's face from how close the distance of their faces were. Jimin could clearly see the beautiful long lashes and the pink glistening lips. The older boy just looked so peaceful and so beautiful when he slept. It's captivating him. Jimin could stare for hours.

Sometimes Jimin thought that he had already seen Suga before. He's not really sure.

Suga just...looked like home. Like that feeling of comfort and safety and contentment. Like the way little Jimin was delighted every time his dad went home with a present for him. Like the way he used to cry when he stumbled on a pavement. Like the snow angel that he had never grown tired of making every time winter rolled in.

Suga just reminded Jimin of the old times. Ever since he got his apartment in Seoul a few years after his dad died, he never went back to his old home in Busan. It just held too many painful memories.

Looking at his Suga-hyung now though... It made him want to visit that place again.

He had missed it.

Jimin sighed. If only Suga was not such a dick, everything would've been easier. Because really, despite how dramatic and reminiscing Jimin became whenever he secretly stared at his hyung, the moment a word would come out of his hyung's mouth, all the serenity would just fall apart. The boy was just too witty for his own good.

"I know theirs, but they don't know mine," Suga spoke suddenly, voice so soft that Jimin almost didn't hear it. Good thing he shifted nearer, not really caring if their arms were pressed together.

The younger boy frowned, confused on what his hyung was murmuring.

Then the realization dawned unto him.

It was the answer to his question.

Suga and Jimin were, unsurprisingly, arguing again.

"It's blue!"

"No, it's clearly green! You've lost your mind."

The younger boy huffed and glared at him.

Suga was in no way backing down. They could glare at each other the whole day. Suga would not lose.

"That," Jimin pointed at the pillow which was the subject of their heated argument, "is clearly blue. It may not literally look like blue, but I'm pretty sure that this shade is it's son! Or daughter..."

Suga rolled his eyes. The pillow looked nowhere like blue. And maybe yes, it didn't look like green either, but he was sure as heck that it's near.

"I don't give a shit at blue. Or its family. Or that it actually has sons. Or that it actually is the lamest color in the universe. That-"

"HOW. DARE. YOU?!"

"-pillow is green. Everybody knows it. Heck, even your great great grandpa knows it!"

Jimin's face was red as he retorted, "Don't talk about my great great grandpa! You don't know anything about my great great grandpa!"

"I can fucking search him if I want, dumbass."

"There's no internet in their time, asshole!"

Suga rolled his eyes. He knew in the back of his mind that this conversation was going nowhere, but he couldn't help it. He would not back down.

"Who says I'll use internet? Have you even heard of a library, Park Jimin? They've got information more reliable than internet. Or really, maybe you haven't been into a library even once because you're too busy flaunting your ass around your school."

The younger boy kicked him in the shin, which, in Suga's surprise, he was not able to avoid. He had been too busy glaring at the other boy and thinking how it was possible for him to look so cute and so hot while angry.

But really, his reflexes never failed him. He should've avoided it easily.

As usual, his body betrayed him whenever it came to Park Jimin. He was starting to think that his body's systems favored Jimin more than it's rightful owner.

"I go to the library twice a week! I'm fucking smart, thank you very much."

"Smart?" Suga snorted, just to annoy the younger even more. "That's unbelievable."

Jimin narrowed his eyes. "I am smart. Well, how about you? Just how stupid can you be, hyung? Do you even know the Library of Alexandria?"

"Of course!" Suga lied smoothly.

"Then what is it? Where is it? How big is it? When was it built? What are the-"

"What is it? It's a fucking library. Where is it? It fucking lives inside your small brain- Aw!"

Jimin kicked him on the shin again.

His reflexes betrayed him again.

"Seriously Jimin," Suga said threateningly as he rubbed the sore part of his leg. "Don't even dare to kick me one more time or-"

"Or what?" Jimin said, voice filled with challenge.

Suga smirked. He just knew how to irk the kid even more. Funny how well they knew about each other now in just a small span of time.

"Or I'll kiss you."

The face of the other boy visibly reddened, but Suga knew it was because of a whole other reason.

"I- I knew it! You're a pervert!"

Suga raised one eyebrow. "Oh? Wow, Jimin, for someone who almost ate my whole face in a club, you are pretty sensitive."

And Suga knew that he had hit the right spot because Jimin's face flushed even more and his eyes wavered, unable to look at Suga's eyes for long anymore.

"I d-didn't know what I was doing!"

"Sure," Suga said.

Jimin only scowled and sulkily walked towards the bed and sat at it. He crossed his arms.

"I can't believe you're doing this to me. You're supposed to protect me, not embarrass me like this!"

Suga's smirk only deepened. "I already told you. The only person who did not receive an injured spine after hitting me was Y. I can't injure your spine, so I'll just injure your ego."

Jimin glared at him for seconds, before frowning. "Why would Uncle hit you?"

"I was under training. It's normal."

The topic seemed to light an interest to the younger boy's mind as he blinked and stared back at Suga, eyes full of curiosity and wonder. It looked quite cute.

"So... Uncle Tadashi trained you?"

Suga shrugged. "More like raised me."

"Oh... What do you mean by that?"

A feeling of slight hesitation came to Suga. But then he remembered that he didn't care anymore. The past was the past.

He reached out to touch his ring, then quickly put his hand away once he noticed what he was doing.

"He took me in when I was a teenager. He saw a potential so he trained me. I just turned out to be good. And really, I was being trained by the second most skillful agent in AC, how would I not be good?"

Suga almost, almost, smiled. He remembered how Y had done everything just to coax him into becoming warmer to him. Suga had been cold towards him at first, but he had warmed later on. Funny how Tadashi had always been closer to him than his real dad would ever be.

Jimin looked a little lost, but he nodded all the same. "I see. He...took you in. Were you from the orphanage, hyung?" he asked, then as if realizing himself, quickly added, "Oh, uh, s-sorry! You don't have to answer that!"

The older boy shrugged, walking towards the bed and sitting beside Jimin. "I don't really mind. I lived in the streets. Whoever I was before, I've already killed it. That weak and naïve person doesn't exist anymore. I don't even acknowledge that name. It just symbolizes how weak I was. I'm now Suga, and that's that."

I'm not Min Yoongi anymore. Min Yoongi is dead.

The following night, Suga received a message in his AC Watch.

His eyebrows furrowed as he read it.

"Jimin?"

"Yes, hyung?"

"Do you know Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook?"
