3 Stuck in a Labyrinth (3)

The entrance to the next corridor had disappeared. Everyone started panicking even though the quaking was still taking place.

"Where is the entrance?" someone shouted out.

And others too started to ask out about the same.

When everyone was panicking Gary the raid leader was still observing the situation and finally opened his mouth "The room like opening we are currently in is moving from its original position. This labyrinth we are in is not just a maze but one which moves." He deduced.

Every one of the other hunters instantly shouted out "Whaaaat? We are doomed."

Outside the Dungeon. Felix City.

When everyone in the raiding team was currently panicking. Outside the dungeon, an hour had already passed since the latest raiding team had entered.

Two security members of the Felix city Hunters Association were sitting in the security zone in front of the dungeon with one drowsing away while the other was looking towards the Dungeon with a frown in his face.

Finally, he elbowed his colleague to wake him up "Oi Bob, you know the hunter's team that went inside the dungeon. The porters of that team have not yet made even one trip out of the Dungeon to bring out their loot. I am getting worried."

Bob who was drowsing away woke up and checked out the dungeon and said: "Are you sure that none came out since entering?"

The other member answered "You know, I am much more diligent in work that a lazy guy like you. I am sure they never once made a trip since entering."

Bob's face changed to a frown and with some contemplation, he spoke up "You wait here, I will call the Security Chief just in case."

*****

Inside the Dungeon.

Gary was a very experienced leader, just using some technical jargon he could already calm down his team. But Wayne was still feeling a kind of threat from this dungeon.

This was a feeling that Wayne felt, and this arose from the depths of his heart. He was frowning mostly while observing everything that was happening. He did not like this dungeon, it was kind of unpredictable and anything that is unpredictable had always unsettled him.

While Wayne was still in his own world, Gary had already ordered his team "Guys, let's start for the next entrance, we need to be cautious while doing so."

Everyone nodded and followed behind him in the previous formation. Entering into the next entrance the corridor felt the same and after going forward for some time the team found themselves a roadblock for the first time. They had to return back and start again with another entrance.

This time they had reached their correct destination, they were standing in front of an opening with wider corridors which resembled a room.

The moment the Team looked at the monster that they would face, the team was overjoyed.

About 15 meters in front of them were six goblins and after their last battle, everyone was fairly informed about the strength of the goblins of this dungeon.

Immediately after the goblins started their rush, Gary ordered "Team, we formations up. This time we have more goblins to take care of so do not make any mistakes."

Everyone instantly readied themselves for a fight.

The goblins were just five meters away when Gary's next command arrived "Rangers attack the goblins in the back, warriors help me Tank the front line of the goblins and Mages attack from the flanks don't let the goblins spread themselves up."

Everyone followed and Sean started his assault with his guns. While the other ranger also attacked but that was more of a support to Sean than any actual help.

Wayne stood ready to fight if required. And an opportunity arrived soon enough.

One of the goblins had separated itself from the group even after the attacks that were taking place in the flanks by the mages.

Gary ordered immediately "Two of you Porters and two E-Rank Warriors go and stop the goblin."

Wayne thought that he did not need to take any action but after the orders when he turned towards the others porters they were too scared to take any action.

Without delaying Wayne took to action immediately and another of the porters who was a middle-aged man also came out to attack.

The warriors had already intercepted the goblin, and when Wayne and the other porter arrived they started attacking the goblin with their swords. This was to provide support to the warriors more than actually fighting the goblin.

But while attacking one of the warriors spoke to Wayne and the other porter "Oi Porters, we do not need you pathetic help, we can handle it ourselves you can scram out of here." Saying so he finally struck the goblin in the neck dealing it the final blow.

The middle-aged porter instantly spoke to Wayne "This is blasphemy. What do they think of themselves, if Porters were not there how would the Hunters get the most out of their loots? Even though we do not fight but we still have a lot of work to do and they just do not respect us at all."

"I really hope a time comes when these egotistical bastards go through hell to understand what we face every day in the dungeons." He continued. This was true too, each Porter had to put himself into a lot of dangerous situations just to get the most out of the Loots. Even the high ranked Hunters needed Porters, without them who would collect the Loot, if Hunters were to collect them while fighting monsters, then it would be nothing short of their imminent doom.

And even after taking this job while putting themselves in dangerous situations all the time, all they received was a small amount of remuneration which can never be compared to the horrors of putting one's life on the line every day.

Wayne calmed the man down while returning back to the team. By this time the others were also finishing up.

Both of them had just returned when they heard two of the other porters speaking "Gary was too cool right now, he has already achieved a high realm in swordsmanship other than his Hunter powers. The last moment when he speedily dodged two of the goblin's attacks while attacking them from behind was super cool."

The porter interjected "Yes that was really awesome. And don't forget about Sean, man was he possessed by the devil or something? His bullets were everywhere attacking the goblins. Man, he did not let even a moment of time for the goblins to stabilize whenever they were pushed back or hurt. He did not let any injured goblin fight back at all."

The porter spoke up in an envious manner "I really wish we were as strong as them, having such power would be too cool. We could also find some cute girls to date. Aah, I am so envious of them."

Wayne who had just returned heard them speak and sighed himself. Even he was envious of those powerful hunters, everyone wanted glory and he was not excluded.

At this moment the floor started moving again like the previous room. Everyone soon found the entrance and the way they came in from had disappeared. But this time no one was panicking.

At this moment Gary the raid leader spoke up "Everyone, we have had these waves easier than expected. But I would like everyone to be cautious now. The next raid should not be as easy as we have faced till now."

Everyone nodded their heads but some of the warriors were not much serious while nodding.

The floor had finished its movement and the next entrance was already open. There were five new entrances and Gary ordered them to start with the nearest leftmost one for now.

Outside the Dungeon.

It had been more than two hours since the raiding team had gone inside the dungeon.

Bob and his colleague were standing with another middle-aged man in front of the dungeon. This man had an authoritative aura in front of them. He was also frowning hearing the report from Bob and quickly understood the issue while eyeing the dungeon.

He spoke to Bob with a calm voice "Bob, you guys standby here and inform me of any changes to the dungeon or if any porter comes out of the dungeon instantly. I am going to call the Association immediately, we cannot delay it any longer there is a high probability of this dungeon being a High Ranked one"

Bob meekly answered, "Yes, Chief."

The Chief quickly communicated the Association using his UICD.

*****

Hunters Association Felix City Branch.

Office of the Branch Head.

An old man who looked dignified and had a strong aura was frowning while listening to a call on his UICD. This call was from his subordinate Akbar Ali the chief of Dungeon Security Department.

The man replied to Akbar "So you are saying that a Low-rank dungeon probably turned out to be a High Ranked one? Is this correct?"

A voice came out from his UICD "Yes, Sir that is what I mean!"

"You also mean to say that 18 of our members are stuck inside?" The man asked, but there was a distinctive change in his voice. The voice contained a hint of anger this time.

"Yes, Sir." The reply came more timidly this time.

"And you also wish to inform that Emily Wood the B-Rank healer is also stuck in there?" This time the question was asked with anger.

"Y... Yes" The voice meekly replied.

"You Bastard."

"Dhhuuusshh"

An angry roar was heard from Raman Sood, the branch head of Felix City Hunters Association's room soon followed by the sound of him banging his fists on his desk.

A moment had passed since the roar and Raman Sood had calmed himself.

He spoke to Akbar while gnashing his teeth "Akbar, you stand by near the dungeon, I am sending an S-Rank team just in case." after which he continued in an angry voice again "And, I hope to find out who was it that had cleared the dungeon as a D-Rank dungeon with C-Rank probability. Akbar this is not over yet, someone has to take responsibility, do you get it?"

"Yes Sir, I will wait for the team then." Akbar replied while cutting off the call.

As soon as the call had been disconnected, Raman connected another call.

When the call connected he was greeted with a young male voice which spoke in an irritated way "Hey branch head, what do you need? You remember don't you that I hate it when you disturb me without reason?"

Raman controlled his anger and replied "You brat, you should learn some manners on how to speak with your elders. Now let's start being serious, a high-rank dungeon has been mistakenly handed to a low-rank raiding team."

"And?" the young voice spoke.

"Well, the one you asked me to keep an eye on has gone inside the dungeon. I hope you could help in the raid." Raman added.

"Send me the details immediately." the young voice replied in a more rushed manner.

"Okay, you will receive them within a minute." Raman replied and cut off the connection.

He then sent the details to the man and sat down on his seat. He was tired but he was calm, he knew that the dungeon will have lesser causality than normal. He was confident in the young man.

He then looked out through a balcony fitted with transparent glass which had the view of Felix City and sighed.

He thought 'Why are you so interested in that child? I never found anything unusual about the child so what is it? Then what is it that MYTH is so interested in?'

*****

Inside a villa in a distant corner of Felix city.

A young man had just disconnected a call from the Hunters Association Branch Head.

He instantly connected to someone else.

When the call connected, he spoke out before anyone could greet him "Maya, we are moving out. Get the team ready instantly, we will move out in 5 minutes. I need everyone as soon as possible."

"What is it, you sound rushed. Did something happen?" a sweet female voice sounded out from his UICD.

He spoke with seriousness "You do not need to know, don't ask more than what is necessary."

"Okay, I will get the team ready and meet you in the lobby." the female voice replied and disconnected.

The young man then sent a message from his UICD to another and sighed.
