But what Joke could feel was that Dani's expression and the look in his eyes were filled with despair.

The three of them (and a dragon) finally walked towards the adit. Along the way there, many people raised their hands to greet Dani. Whether they were those who were still on this island or those who had left the island, everyone seemed to recognize Dani. And they all encouraged Dani in regard to what was currently happening.

"Are you going inside the adit, Dani? It’s a waste of time. We have already explored. The inside is completely vacant—nothing caught our eyes.”

A young man with a mustache who looked rowdy like a gangster suddenly greeted him when he crossed paths with Dani in front of the adit’s entrance. Dani smiled naturally in return.

“Hey, Joe. Long time, no see. You seem to be doing well.”
