"Four of my elves got buffed and one of them was Ramina!"

Her words raised chatter from everyone, especially Madame Fon who immediately turned to smile at her sweetly.

"Congratulations, Rin. Now you can finally stop stressing over that tournament. Not only not being nerfed, but you also got buffed. Are you now ready to go straight for it?”

“Yes!”

Rin started smiling with an utterly relieved expression. It was clear from her expression that she had lifted the burden off her shoulder. That caused Joke, who had been standing next to her, to be rather confused about what was currently going on.

“Are you confused?” Dani asked, smiling. "Here’s the thing, buddy. In every new patch update, there will be nerfs and buffs on the old cards. “Nerf” is reducing the card's ability and “Buff” is enhancing the card’s ability.”

"So, why would they do that?” Joke asked.
