3 Chapter 3

After the history class everyone head straight to the training room.

Their combat instructor was there and the girls asked her to be the referee.

The instructor is a tall, bulky woman. She has a masculine appearance and itis clear that she is a battle hardened veteran. Her name is Diana Ironside.

The five girls got into the fighting area and the rest of the girls stood around the area at a safe distance.

Sebastian enters the room and stands in the back.

[No need to change out of our school uniforms so lets get this started]

Dante slowly walked into the center.

[I go first got it?]

The other four girls stepped back and surrounded Dante.

[This is the prestigious Azzur Academy that only the best of the best can hope to attend. Everyone here is of noble birth or has what it takes to become a part of the high class.]

Katerine draws her sword and activates it pointing it to Dante.

[You disgrace the Academy name just be being here. Your kind belongs on the front lines as cannon fodder or in the fields breaking your back. You don't belong here orphan trash!]

[Say that again.]

Katerine smirks.

[Orphan tra...]

Dante flings his right arm unleashing a huge dark red blast of energy.

The blast slams Katerine to the wall behind her.

Her sword shards are scattered on the floor. Her uniform ripped to shreds. She is lying on the floor, her body exposed. She can barely lift her head. Blood coming out of her nose and mouth, her body is full of cuts, burns and bruises.

Everyone can't believe their eyes standing with their mounts wide open.

[Get him!] screams Tanja.

They all charge Dante, but he creates an energy explosion from his body sending them flying and knocking them out.

The room is silent. Even Sebastian is taken back by what he just witnessed.

The silence is broken by Dante's right foot hitting the ground as he starts moving forward towards Katerine.

Katerine looks up at his face. There's hatred smoldering in his dark eyes.

Energy starts to emit from Dante's hands. The energy is so concentrated that it burns the air making it seem like dark red and black flames are coming from Dante's hands.

Sebastian sees that Dante is about to do something bad.

[Dante what are you doing?]

[Taking out the garbage.]He replies with anger in his voice.

Diana tells Dante to spot but doesn't listen. She starts to go towards him to try and somehow stop him but Dante raises his left hand and fires a stream of energy at her.

She quickly puts up a barrier but the barrier immediately starts to crack. She uses all energy she has to make the barrier as strong as possible but it still isn't enough.

Claudia sees that Diana can't take it so she puts up a barrier around Diana as well. A few of the other students see and put up barriers too.

With the help of the students the barrier is strong enough to withstand the stream, but Diana is still getting pushed back.

Dante's gift was different from the others. while theirs energy is brings blue and white and looks like beams of light, his is dark red and black vibrant energy that pulses out and even has a flame like appearance.

The continuous blast of energy that's pinning Diana down seemed like it requires no effort on Dante's part. However the blast is so intense that excess energy is flang out of the blastwave in the shape of lighting.

Dante continues to walk towards Katerine with determination, unfazed by Diana's efforts.

Sebastian is screaming at Dante urging him to stop.

The students terrified watch in shock.

Katerine horrified with tears running down her face watches Dante come for her. Fear and dread envelope her as she starts to panic. Its getting hard to breathe. Cold sweat covers her body. She struggles to draw breath as if death himself has his hands around her throat, choking her.

As Dante reaches her Sebastian's voice echos across the room.

[Remember your word!]

Dante stops in front of Katerine and turns his head and looks at Sebastian. Burning energy is coming out of his eyes.

[Honor the deal!]

He looks back at her.

He stops his attack on Diana and puts his hand down. All the energy he was exuding fades.

Diana falls on her hands and knees trying to catch her breath.

Dante spits in Katerines face. With a cold voice, looking down at her with disgust on his face says [Worthless.]

He turn around and start walking towards Sebastian.

[I agreed to help you with the war in exchange for compensation. I agreed to cooperate...]

Energy starts bursting from all over his body, his eyes start flaming.

[... not to submit!]

The energy gets more intense. Most of it is unleashed behind him making it look like flaming wings spread open.

[I bow down to no one. You would all be wise to remember that.]

Sebastian is visibly scared but keeps his composure.

[No one is asking you to bow your head!]

Dante looks at the girls.

[They all expect me to.]

[They can expect what ever they want. They have no authority so don't bother with them.]

Dante's energy fades away.

[You are here to prepare for the war. How you spend your time here is up to you, just don't kill anyone. I trust you can manage that.]

[Fine. But! I will cut down anyone that fucks with me.]

Sebastian looks down at the ground with disappointment.

[I imagine that's the best deal we are going to get.]

He starts walking towards the door.

[Come on let me show you your room.]

As the two of them leave the room the girls rush to the injured and take them to the infirmary.
