1 Proposal

"Hi, can I talk to Mr. Edward please." Aine asked the secretary. She's too tired and doesn't have any energy to argue with him through the phone. Upon reading the proposal he sent to her, she immediately set an appointment with him, and came in a rush to discuss the proposal.

"Do you have an appointment with Mr. Baek, ma'am?" asked the secretary.

"Yes, I'm Aine"

"Oh, miss Aine, please follow me. Mr. Baek had been waiting for you inside." They both entered the office, after the secretary knocked. Mr. Baek was anticipating this moment . He had been secretly spying on Aine after she was introduced to him by her brother at a party. He had admired her after and wanted to be close to her.

"Miss Aine, you're here. Please have a sit. Miss Rose kindly make us a coffee. Thank you." The secretary left to prepare them a coffee. Mr. Baek face Aine afterwards. He didn't say a word neither she. They were both silent while waiting for the secretary. After five minutes, the secretary came back with the two cups of coffee on a tray. She lay the tray on the table then left. Mr. Baek is silently staring at her, which makes her wanna hide from him.

"Uh, Mr. Baek I came to discuss about your proposal. You stated that you want to help me in building my own company?" Aine asked, but deep inside her she is doubting this man. They're weren't close with each other and out of no where he just send a proposal.

"Yes, and call me Edward. As I stated onbmy proposal, I will help you with the funds and you will do the management." Edward said, trying his hard to talk to her in a convincing way.

"I have doubt with your words, yes as of now I'm still lacking of funds. That's the reason I haven't started it yet but this is my dream, I want to make it into reality with my own sweat and hard work. Not by external help." Aine said nonchalantly. She wants to be independent and not rely on others.
