2 Partnership

"Besides I don't agree with the division of profits, how could it be 70%-30%. Why I get the 30% and you 70%, I don't feel good with it. If that's the case, I would rather work till I come up with enough funds." Aine continued. Edward was just silent all the time, and didn't interrupt her.

After 2 minutes of no words from Edward, Aine hand back the proposal she received. "I'm returning back your proposal, and I'm sorry to say I'm not interested with your offer." Aine got up and prepare to leave when Edward speak.

"I have another proposal, you might consider. Why don't we form a partnership. What do you think?" Edward said when he sees that Aine prepares to leave after rejecting the first proposal. He is looking at her attentively and feeling nervous. 'Nervous? why I'm feeling this way. It has been years since I felt this way. why am I nervous seeing her ready to leave?' Edward thought to himself.He is struggling to let her stay beside him. He doesn't want her to leave from his sight.

Upon hearing him say partnership, she looked at him intently as if analyzing the pros and cons. After 30 seconds she sits back to her previous seat. "Edward, why are you adamant to form a business with me? You're already rich, popular, and many wants to become part of your company. Why did you choose a lowly poor female like me to be one of your business partner?" Aine said, wanting some convincing answer from him. Then she continued saying

"We don't know each other, were strangers. we've just met once because of your brother Rhane. So, I'm just wondering how could you put your trust to me in handling your money?"

"I trust you and believed in your capabilities Aine. This might be sudden for you, but I see some potential in you. I want to form a partnership with you not because of my brother . I have my own reasons and besides it's more convenient. According to Rhane your a college drop out, and known each other since you tried to kick him ." Edward answered her.

"I find you interesting and amusing. And I want to have an independent business that is not part of the company." Edward told her after seeing her cautious towards him. 'I like you, can't you not see it. Is this enough reason for me to help you?' Edward wants to voice it out but chose not to.
