"Pardon her manners ladies, you see Cassandra is from a middle-class family, she is just lucky to have me as a friend," Emelia said making all the women laugh while I stood there dumbfounded by what she said.

"Emelia why would you have such a middle-class girl as your friend?"

"Look at her dress." A woman in a gold dress pointed at my gown.

"Where did you get this cheap thing from?"

"Perhaps a one-dollar store." They all laughed together have they criticized my dress.

"What is going here?" The sound of Prince Rodriguez's voice stopped them from laughing.

"Darling, I was just introducing Cass to my friends."

"Okay, why is Cass crying?" I used the back of my hand to wipe tears off my face, I didn't even realize I was crying.

"I don't know, Cass are you okay?" Emelia pretended like she did not know the reason I was crying.
