Prologue

"Kuya I want ice cream." Ryss said and pointed at the ice cream stall she saw, her brother nodded and walk towards the stall. She clapped her hand and kiss him on his cheeks. "Thank you!" She said as he handed the strawberry ice cream to her.

Ryss started licking it and giggle at the end. He wipe her hands and her mouth using a tissue and laughed. "Your so dirty." He said as he wrap a new tissue in the ice cream cone and headed to their parents.

As soon as they reach their parents, her mom quickly sprayed an alcohol in her hands when she finished the ice cream. She then let her sit in the backseat and changes her pink dress into a blue t shirt and a jeans.

"Ouch!" She shouted when she fell on the ground. She cried even more when she saw a wound on her knee

"R-ryss p-please stop crying."  A boy panic when she cried even more.

"Kuya Tan-tan! Kuya Tan-tan!" She shouted and one of her teachers quickly check on her and quickly ran her to the clinic after seeing the wound.

The boy got her bag from the ground and ran towards the clinic to check Ryss. He sat on the floor and leaned on the wall while hugging Ryss bag. He just stared at the door waiting for her to come out when someone tap his shoulder. "Is that Ryss bag?" The boy nodded and look around to see a girl and a boy older than him walking inside the clinic.

"Stand up little boy. Why won't you come inside? Your classmates told me you've been waiting here for minutes already." The man said and guided him to the room where Ryss were. The boy panic again when he saw her crying and saying "mommy", he quickly went to her and handed his handkerchief. "Stop crying Ryss." The boy said and pat her back.

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday happy birthday, happy birthday to you!" She blow the candle and smile at everyone who sang for her. "Happy birthday Ryss." One of her tita greeted and handed a gift to her. "Thank you Tita." She smiled and keep saying thank you and receiving her gifts from their visitor. She smiled at her cousins and played with them at the backyard.

"10! 11! 12! 13! 14!" She quickly run and hide at the bushes and peeked at her cousins who were also busy hiding. "18! 19! 20! Ready or not here I come!" She tried her best not to be seen or else she will lose. She keeps on peeking because she will run and hit the wall were her kuya Tan-tan counts.

She immediately hid again as her kuya glance at the bushes where she was hiding. She can hear the scream of her mama and tita's, so she peek again but she was surprised when her kuya was already in front of her. "Huli!" She ran as fast as she could so that she can hit the wall first. Their hands touch each other when they hit the wall at the same time, but her hand landed first on the wall.

She smiled when she saw her relatives screaming and jumping. She went to her kuya and hug him, they are both sweaty and that makes them chuckle. "Happy birthday Cel-cel." Her kuya greeted and kissed her on her forehead. "Thank you kuya Tan-tan." She smiled and kissed him on his cheeks.

"LABAN ATENEO!" The audience shouted as she glanced at the scoring board. 27-26, their school leaded and when one of her team mate will score a point they will win.

"Swarth targeta si Cabrera." (Swarth target Cabrera) She said and her team mate quickly nodded and headed to the service line. "Girls listen, we just need one point okay? One point. Focus and defense only, understood?" Her team mate quickly nodded and fix their position, her hands where up, ready to jump in case the opponent will spike.

They quickly move when her team mate served the ball. The libero of their opponent save the ball and guided it to the setter. The setter then set the ball to their spiker. Ryss got alarm when the opponents spiker jump and hit the ball but luckily she blocked it!

"And that's it! Reyes ended the game! With one powerful block!" The commentator announce lively. She glance at everyone and saw them cheering, her school was celebrating, the fans and their family. She quickly ran to her family and hugged them.

"Were so proud of you Celeste." Her nanny said and hugged her once again when she received the award of being the finals MVP.
