Lost in her thoughts Yan shook her head, She continued to wash the skin and placed it beside her while cleaning her self up.

It was hard to leave for a week not taking care of her brother's cub, she didn't want to hurt her brother's cub accidentally. She lost her brother and his mate a few year's ago while him and his partner went hunting, they we're ambushed by a horde of elephant and they ended losing their lives... She went to depression for a while but kept it together for her brothers cub. He is the only family she has left.

The nightmare begun when she was a little pup and her mother tiger didn't know what to do with her. If it wasn't for her mother coming to the den earlier, she would have attracted some predators and risked her and her brother's lives.

Her mother adapted to her regular episode and would hunt during the day so she could comfort her during the night. The only way the mother new how to comfort her distressed cub was to cuddle and lick her face and hair. She hoped the cub won't continue like this, one day she had to go on her own and she wouldn't be there.

The cubs we're old enough to hunt and joined there mother that day.

While they we're fooling around suddenly the mother crouched down and growled. She smelled humans near by and wanted to get her cubs away from danger.

Licking there faces She went ahead to distract the humans away from where the cubs we're.

They waited for there mother to return but she didn't come back for two days, hunger drove them away from there safety place. Trying to look for food and there missing mother, they wondered off deep in the forest.

They wondered why their mother took so long to come back.

"I smell a rabbit. "Yan growled next to her brother.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrlrl" her brother's stomach growled.

They hunted for hours but had no such luck. Exhausted and hungry, they laid beside a tree.....

Jun Dishi was on his year retirement with his grand daughter Jun Mei. He often liked to hike, he didn't waste time and set off the next morning he arrived. He left his grand daughter to rest with her nanny watching her at a cabin he rented.

After a full day of hiking and hunting, Jun Dishi decided to go back to his cabin.

On the trail he hard whimpering coming from behind a tree. Curiosity got the better of him and he decided to investigate.

"..... " What he saw left him speechless. Crouched down where two things cuddling, what looked like a tiger cub around the age of five to six, but the thing that freaked him more was a human like creature dirt covering its skin with golden eyes piercing his eyes.

"what the?!... "Jun Dish said.

Startled by the strangers voice, Yan moved in front of her brother snarling with her bared teeth.

Jun Dishi saw sharp canines bared at him and took a step back. In a matter of seconds he decided to gain the creature trust to find out what it was.

He took out two rabbits and put it down and took a few more step back.

Yan was cautious about the human, she didn't immediately take it, but she new it wasn't easy to kill any pray. Her brother kept on scratching her back wanting to take the offered rabbits.

Yan had no other choice but to snatch the rabbits.

It happened within two seconds. The human was startled and took another two steps back.

Jun Dishi saw the creature clearly when it snatched the rabbits, it was a human at least that's what he figured.

Yan gave the rabbits to her brother and guarded him. The human saw the action of Yan and took out two more.

Yan wasn't as cautious as before and took it while eating it her self still watching the human. He was mortified when he saw the human child eating the rabbits raw with the fur. He thought it will feed the tiger, and was about to remove some dumplings. He was shocked to see her eat it.

Jun Dishi crouched down and tried not to seem threatening as they seem to think he was.

This made Yan growl in warning, it made him freez from making any movements.

"Its ok, am not gonna hurt you. See I just want to sit." He sited crossed legs. He knew this was dangerous but he couldn't help but wonder what's behind their story.

He wondering where the child parents where?

"Was the child missing? Or maybe the parent's abounded it and had to adapt to these cruel treatment." He kept on muttering under his breath.

He took out a flask that had water and two bowls that he used it to eat during the day and poured some water in it. He then pushed the two bowls in front of them. They walked cautiously towards the bowl and sniffed it. After confirming that it was water, they started to drink it. He was still amazed how the human was mimicking the behavior of an animal.

He stayed with them for hours trying to gain there trust.

When it was time for him to return, he wanted to take the human child with him but thought it was better off if he left her there, he found out it was a girl because she didn't have any clothes on and there was no male genital. They watched him leave and returned to the tree to rest now that they had a meal. It wasn't enough but at least they had something.

The human kept on coming everyday bringing them food and water to drink. A month later they learned to trust him.

Jun Dishi made sure he could gain there trust before bringing his grand daughter to meet them.

Yan was shocked to see someone look like her. She thought she was the only different one but come to find out there was another. They soon got used to Jun Mei and formed a close bound with her.

After months of visiting Yan and her brother. Jun Dishi taught her how to walk, write and other basic human behavior. He also taught her sign language so that she could communicate with his grand daughter.

Bit by bit Yan learned more but still preferred the wild. It was funny how her brother tried to mimic his sister every time she was being taught.

The hard part on Jun Dishi was teaching her how to speak. It took months but she still spoke one word at a time.

She could not speak a sentence fully.

"You we're being mean to her." Jun Dishi said to Yan.

"Sorry..... Yan is good..... Yan will do better" she tried to speak in a full sentence.

"Its OK Yan, everybody makes mistakes. Just don't play rough with her again. She's your sister now." Jun Mei signed that she was OK, it was just an accident...

"Yan good..... Yan was having fun with sister."

He learned her name few months ago, he tried giving her a name but she would reject it every time. One day she come up to him and said....

"Yan name... " she jumbled with her words...
