1 After The War -part 1-

The war was bloody, anybody could have told you, but that does not mean you were there. The people that had fought in the war, were forever traumatized. Even though little of few people had survived the war. There were hundreds of thousands of people had fought in the war. An only a less than a ten had survived the war. An even though they had survived they can never go back to normal. Except a few like Noah, He was powerful, and intelligent, his body was feminine, he five foot even, colors he always shades. The clothes he always wear white sleeves, gray skinny jeans, black heel boots, with a thick cloak to cover his hole body that was black. Hair black as ink long hair that was below his shoulders, skin as soft to the touch. Even though he is feminine, he has mastered all kinds of martial arts, he can even make things by craving stuff. He had created the most beautiful, black and white flute that is a attached to him, and can't be taken away from him. It was said that you could awaken the dead, and control the dead to your command. That is why the war started, power hungry people, the more power the higher your status is. Noah had the worst of the battle; hundreds of people went after him. Craving the power, making them strong is what they want.

His family that took him in, felt they were betrayed, well that is what Noah thinks. He also had to protect them during the war, and their sect, and is home on the mountain. During that time he was not sleeping, and using his power to put a protection spell above their sect, and his home. And this fight had lasted about two years, and it went to the morning then all the way at night. He had to finish the war, he had to, to save more people. During the whole time he had his guardian dog, and his lover, but there was a problem with it, his clan had wanted to marry him off to a girl of his clan. Isaiah had to leave if no more problems would happen. Isaiah wanted to bring Noah home, to his sect and his clan. That was their problem, making them split, and taking a break from each other, so Isaiah had left Noah, going back to his clan. But they had to finish the war then leave, Isaiah wanted to leave fast so he did.

After Noah, with Isaiah, had finished the war, he was tired. And his body was reaching the breaking point. His mind was not healthy, he was saddened, beaten, broken, and even breaking. He needs a break, he needs sleep.. god how long he has been awake. He sighs as the love of his life is walking away, his leaving is making Noah more sadder, Isaiah had to leave his brother needed him too, and needed to get back at his clan. So Noah spoke out to him in a whisper, but loud enough for him to hear.

"I love you.. and I promise to see you.."

Isaiah had cried as he had to walk away from his lover, having to leave him behind. He had too, and it was his regret.

As he left Noah had whistles for his beast, his guardian, as he had already had his flute, with him in hand. His beast had come running with his mouth a bit open. His beast was nothing too big like the others, and they stayed big but he can grow big, and long, his beast was a faded gray to black. Standing four feet tall, and a foot and a half wide, he looked like a hell hound. His teeth are sharp, white, and big, his eye's blood red crimson. He was lean, big, and strong. His name is Sage.

With the flute already with him, then Noah had sighs as he felt the flute in his hand, feeling comfort. He then looked down at Sage, and smiled, he then spoke.

"Let's go Sage"

Sage followed Noah as they walked to their mountain. Once they got there, they were met with the little village. He said his hi and grabbed some of the wine he was offered. But they soon left, and they walked to the very top of the mountain. Once they got there Noah looked down at Sage, as he went down eye level. He then placed his right hand on top of Sage's head. As he looked him the eye's, and spoke.

"Sage.. I'm tired, so I am going to sleep for a little while. And I want you to watch over the village, as I sleep, I will watch over you guys too, while I sleep."

Sage looked at him in understanding, and whined a little bit. Noah smiled at him a bit, as he pets his head, and gets behind his pointed ears. Making Sage wag his long tail like a whip, and barking a little. Then Noah stops slowly as he gets up, and gets to the center, then slowly looks back. Then breaths in, and then a tree grew big, and wide. You may not know this, but he is the life and death, he controls it, as he is able to control the earth, fire, air and water they are connected to it, fire, and air is for death. Then water, and earth is for life. It was supposed to be kept a secret but he had to show he was able to use all the elements, but he didn't show them that he is able to control death, and life. The tree is black as it's leaf's are also black with little specks of white. It was at least two hundred feet tall and thirty wide. Noah uses his left hand, and lifts it up at the tree, and makes the tree open, just enough for him to get inside the tree. But before he can go in, and rest, Sage rubs his head on Noah's calf, making Noah stop in his steps. Looking down, and seeing Sage giving his good night. Making Noah smile down on him for one last time, he won't be back for a while.

Finally ready, Noah walks in the tree, getting the rest he needs. Looking back at Sage as the tree closes. Leaving Sage staring at the tree as he sits, the moon was rising and finally making him howl at the blue full moon. Howling only for a few minutes, and getting up from his seat, and the running down the mountain into the surrounding forest that was by the village.

When night came the tree glowed, it's leaf's beautifully glowed black with the speck's of white, and also flowers bloomed at the bottom of the tree. Gray's, white, and black prefect, they couldn't be plucked either. If they were, they would turn into ash. And at night there would be a tune playing, it was a flute that would be a lullaby to the people, making them have good dreams as they slept. And during the night a spring grows from the tree behind it.

~Time skip three years later~

The small village that was there at the bottom of the tree had bloomed. Everyone was friends, with everyone happy they enjoyed life. They also heard of the news of Noah, they were all sad so they built a shrine close by the tree. They built it for Noah, for his kindness, and a thanks for him, for protecting them, and still is.

Everyone brings offerings, like coins, incense, food, and of course rice wine. They placed them around the shrine, and the tree. The day he went to sleep they also wanted to make a holiday for him. So they dress up, women in the white and gray, men in black and gray, children are the same thing for their gender.

They dance, they thank him for what he did for them. They sing and again dance as a gift for him, Sage watches over them, and protects them too, they also thank him with juice, red meat, and good bones. As they are having fun Noah watches over them, having fun, and seeing them. Even though he was asleep, he was watching them in his sleep. Of course he had to let them know he was watching over them, so he let his magic flow so that the flower's bloom off the tree's, and into the street's. It was beautiful making the flower's look like they were stars, seeing that the people would light up even more, knowing that Noah was watching.

So they party and celebrate till the moon is at the highest point then they light off some fireworks, calling the holiday. All the adults drink one glass of rice wine, the children instead of drinking they would play until the adults are done then it's off to bed. They are all sad, but wait till next year's party.

Isaiah on the other hand has been down you can't tell by face wise, but the atmosphere around him was down, but he kept his cold face. You didn't know this, but he was a cold person, and a hard worker. He was also very tall, a little shorter than his brother, he stands at six foot two. Isaiah was six foot one. And they were twins, black hair that was short. They clothed themselves as if everyday was almost a meeting. But in reality they were teaching kids about history, and how the village came. And teach them how to fight, and with swords. They were close to look professional, and the kids will wear uniforms. White long sleeves, and tan vest, white pants, and grayish white shoes. Looking classy, and looking mature, for their age. Isaiah was also to be wed with a girl in their sect, the most strongest, and smart. So they got married, the girl loved Isaiah, but he didn't love him back. Knowing this the girl couldn't get the love, and more money. The truth is the girl actually only wanted to be married to him, because of the money. Isaiah only gave her money so she could stay away from him. But that was never enough, so she snuck out at night, and was sleeping with other men, she then got pregnant with someone else's baby.

Seeing that his "wife" was pregnant with someone else's baby he had the power to divorce himself, and have him move somewhere else. As the time came closer to the end of the nine months. Her water breaks, and she diverses a healthy baby boy. Some people were happy, except Isaiah's uncle, knowing the baby did not have the Heaven bloodline in it. Heaven is their last name, Isaiah, Zack (Isaiah older twin brother.) and their uncle's last name.

As the baby boy was born the mom was dead on the spot, as she bled from giving birth. Knowing the mom had died from giving birth, Isaiah had to take care of the baby. Because he was once married to her, and not knowing who the baby's father is. Even though he didn't love her, he still took care of the baby, and he already loved someone. His old lover was the most beautiful man ever.

Speaking of Isaiah had wanted to know where he was, so he went to look for him. Knowing Noah is still taking care of his home on the mountains, and the people that live there. So he went the next morning to Noah's mountain, to check it out. So he went to the mountain, named hell's mountain, because of Noah's power of the dead.

Once getting to the hell's village, he was surprised that the village, now town, had grown... a lot. But that is beside the point he needed...no he wanted information on Noah. So he had to ask around the town's people.

Having his scary, and his cold face, spoke to a villager that was closer to him.

"Excuse me, have you seen a person named Noah?"

The villager turned around to look at Isaiah, and he smiled at him, noticing he's cold air, and face. But still spoke to him in a happy town.

"Yes, you mean the man like the moon, that protect us. He is now one with the earth, well tree. Three years ago they now lay on top of the mountain, You see the big black tree at the top... That is where he lies. There is also a little shrine in front of it. Also there are flowers that are near the tree, do not pluck the flowers they will turn into ashes. And there is also a little waterfall coming out of the tree. You can get one cup of water to drink, if you feel sick. But do not drink it greedy other wise you will get sick. I have to go now, and get back to work. take care now."

The villager leaves, getting back to his work, leaving Isaiah , who is very worried. Now wondering what he means, and he is guessing what it means. But I do not want to believe it. So he starts running up the mountain, and hopping on trees. Hoping it's not what he thinks... he can't be dead.

Sage was just watching, and slowly followed Isaiah up the mountain, to the tree. To Noah's resting area, wanting to be there to watch over what Isaiah was going to do. Out of breath Isaiah made it up the mountain, and looked at the tree before him. He falls to his knees, his hands touch the ground with the flowers, and he cries and his heart out. Thinking his one true love died, before he could take to him, and telling him that it was his fault notable to stop the wedding.

Sage watched, and listened, wondering why he was crying out. The great Isaiah heaven was crying his heart out. Breaking down into tears, Sage then slowly walks up to Isaiah, putting his paw on his hand. Isaiah looked up to see Sage licking gently the tears away. Finally getting more of Isaiah's attention after about a couple of minutes of crying. Sage then gently grabs Isaiah's right hand in his mouth. Then gently took it, pulling it to touch the tree. Isaiah then puts his hand on the tree, then it clicks, there is something alive, but it is sleeping. Feeling it.... the bump, bump, bump, the beating of a heart. He then looks at Sage, Sage then let's go, and start's to paw at it.

Now understanding what Sage was getting at, then slowly let's go, and spoke out loud mostly trying to speak out to Noah.

"When were you going to tell me, I didn't know you were this bad... You could have told me.... Noah, how tired, upset, and broken are you?"

He then sighs and looks back at Sage who was now laying down close to the tree. Isaiah then spoke out to both of them. Wanting to get answer's or at least a word back.

"Is Sage watching over everything? And I thought you were dead when I heard the villagers talking that you were laying down."

Sage then barks at Isaiah getting his attention. Using his nose to point to the sun that was now going down. And the moon was now rising, as soon as the moon was at the highest point. A flute was let out from the tree, Isaiah was confused, but kept on listening to the tune, so unique, but as he was listening more to the tune, it was their love song. It was very hard to play, so not many people could play it. Actually nobody, but them could play it, there is another piece to it.

After Isaiah had now gotten up, and stood there thoughts racing around about his mind. His facial expression remains straight, and cold. When he finally made a decision he looked at Sage, clutching his right hand into a fist tight. Placing it over his heart, he opens his mouth and says.

"I will wait for you, no matter how long it takes, I will wait for you. Because you are my love that can't be replaced by nobody."

When he said that, you could have sworn that he just smiled a little, his aura lightened up a bit.

Then Sage moved to get up, and looked at Isaiah walking up to him. Then slowly stops, and sits. He then stares at Isaiah, and Isaiah looks down and stares at Sage too. Then Sage bowed a little to Isaiah then walks away, back down the mountain

Isaiah looked a bit surprised, but nodded at him as he walked away. After that Isaiah walks back down the mountain, but not after he said his goodbyes, promising to come back. Once he was down he saw people put stuff away, now he noticed that they had a holiday / festival. Isaiah had asked around, surprising the people. But no less they told him what it was about, he then asked if he could come back, and bring some of his people, and his kids he teaches. The villagers welcomed them to come back, they told him he could stay in one of the inn's that were there.

Isaiah had left feeling happy, but it didn't show on his face. Knowing that his love didn't die. In fact, now he knows where he is, he finally can come, and visit him with his son. Once he was back, in his home from the long journey, made it back in his house, in the morning. He went to see his son, to see if he was doing all right.

He made it back to the toddler's room, and to see him sleeping in his bed. Then the toddler woke up to see his dad in his room, he then sat up, and walked to his dad. He then grabbed hand's at his dad. Making him pick up the toddler, gently patting his back to lullaby him back to sleep. Isaiah then spoke to him as he mumbles a song, a little one at that. that he says his goodnight to him, using his name.

"Good night River"

He then places him back down, on his little bed, then walking out of the room. Isaiah then went to his room to get some rest at least an hour or two of rest before getting up at six am in the morning.

~Back to Sage~

Now that Sage left, being on the night portal was wandering around the area listening to the music that was playing. Letting the villagers get some rest, having good dreams. But something about the music was different, like it was a little bit sad. It was usually a happy sound, and calming sound. Not saying it was not a calming tune now. But Sage kept on doing his portal, keeping an eye out for any bad people.

Doing his thing, Sage kept going, leaving Noah a lone, as he kept watching over the town. He did hear what Isaiah had to say, but he only listen. He talked to himself, knowing he will be back. A little saddened some flower's had taken into the air he created, making them look like star's that night. Also using it to create a little protection circle around the hole mountain, village, and the forest.

It was a beautiful sight but no one was able to watch since they were sleeping, but there little did, Noah knew someone in the shadow was watching, and they were laughing, like crazy. The man whispers in the wind.

"...I will see you soon.... my love"

The as soon left since he couldn't get in the mountain, only able to watch from afar. Noah then had gotten the chills, but that didn't make sense, because he was sleeping, But he felt it in his dream's as he watched over the town. He soon put it behind him in the past. He soon felt happy going back to think about Isaiah making the flower's, and the forest growing a bit, from his happiness.

~Seven years later~

It's been ten years now since Noah had gone to sleep. Everything has been okay, and it was that time of year. It was a holiday / festival day. Noah's mind, and thoughts, wonders about thinking. Thinking about his other family, well step family, he wanted to say hi, and get to know if they were okay now. And seeing the real world from his mind seemed okay, since he knew he was not ready to see it in real life.

But he was feeling a little lonely, he can't call for Sage, he has to keep guard, and watch over the people. Noah had thought for a moment, thinking on what to do. Then BAM, Idea came to mind, he spoke out loud.

"I got it, I can just bring in some animals here."

He forgot that animal's love him, he does not know why, but they do. Now he thinks on what animals to call out to.

"How about bird's, fox's, and rabbits... Yeah that seems enough for me."

Excited about having other little animal's around him was the best, because animals always loved him. For no reason, different, and a lot of animals liked him, and all ways came up to him. While doing what he wants, getting the animals.

People down at the village were getting ready for another festival party, setting up the decorations. It's been ten years happily, and ready to party, Sage has been watching them from the side in the forest. He kept an eye out for them, for Noah keeping away bandits, stealing some goods, like food, cotton. The evil spirits that try, and to enter the forest, and village were stopped by the dom. But all and all the past ten years Sage has been a good help. Also how evil Sage looked you would think the villagers would be scared of him, but nope they all love him, for the past ten years, and the other years he was with Noah, protecting them all.

while watching the villagers to make sure they were okay, Sage didn't notice a person walking up behind him, reaching a hand out to touch Sage head. Once the person had put his hand on Sage's head, scarring Sage, he turned his head around and bit down hard. Digging in to the flesh, and tugging on his hand pulling the person down to the ground.

Then Sage noticed the smell, he knew this smell, he then let's go, looking at the person he had attacked. Seeing who it was, he then goes down to the ground, showing that he was sorry. It was Isaiah, he then looked up at Sage getting up, standing, and dusting down his clothing. But that didn't help at all, it just made the clothes dirtier. Sage whined at that, but looked at his hand, it was bleeding, the whole time Isaiah didn't groan in pain, didn't even flinch.

Then Isaiah had spoken in a calm tone at Sage.

"it is okay, you were spooked, that was my fault, that I didn't say hi."

Sage then got up from the ground, and walked over to Isaiah, and gently grabbed his pants, tugging them. As if asking to follow him, so Isaiah did, they went up to the tree, where Noah was resting at. Isaiah didn't know what to do since they were already up there, Sage brought him the little fall, he used his nose to point at it. Then Isaiah had got what he was trying to do, and had forgotten that the water was healing water. So Isaiah had taken off his clothes, and hopped in the water, cleaning himself. Sage had taken his clothing so he couldn't get out, so he just decided to take a nap in the water. Relaxing his body, getting comfortable , and slowly falling asleep. Not noticing the little animals that were there, he was now asleep in the water, letting his mind go into a dream.

But he soon will realize that he is his mind, not in his mind, but in another mind...
