56 Divorce

Shadows and light alternate back and forth on his face as Koh Zi Hong sat by the window of his car, the boy can feel now is emptiness as the past week had been quite hard on him.

How many sleepless nights had he experienced since that back when he heard his friends true feeling for him, how many times had he stopped playing games and watching anime?

He took out his phone and sees his home screen; it was a picture of him and Hitomi-chan holding a trophy. After hesitating for a while, Koh Zi Hong swipes his phone and looked at his games.

Slowly he started the games one by one and had a good look at them, the ones that he hadn't played for some time and the ones that he played every day.

Each of them holds an adventure of their own, a world where Koh Zi Hong had spent hours and hours immersing him soul within them and creating a special bond with those mystical places.

Do you want to uninstall this app?

A tear fell onto the cancel option, yet his fingers pressed the ok button.

He then started uninstalling every single game on his phone along with the memories that he shared with them until he was left with one last game.

It was the game that he played with his friends, all the times where they defeated their enemies, where they see the words on their screens when they had fun together.

Do you want to uninstall this app?

Once more he looked at this choice that was given to him, this time no tears dropped down as Koh Zi Hong couldn't cry anymore.

His tears had long been cried out by him, leaving behind a pair of lifeless red eyes.

Ok

Koh Zi Hong had deleted everything, his heart bleeds yet he continued going on.

The photos…

He opened up his gallery and looked all of his pictures with Hitomi-chan. 'I couldn't do it.' He said in his heart, but when he sees his photo with his friends he did it.

Koh Zi Hong deleted all of his pictures with Hitomi-chan, from when he unwrapped his waifu until his first night with her, all gone from his phone.

He hugged Hitomi-chan tightly as he knew what is coming.

'For my friends, I must do this…'

Koh Zi Hong looked at Hitomi-chan for one last time and kissed his waifu, but he doesn't want it to end here. Not only his love not only for Hitomi-chan but for his otaku life too.

The windows to the car slowly dropped down as Hitomi-chan slowly moved forward like an inmate on death row being brought to the guillotine.

"Son, it is time for you to grow up. I know it is hard, but try and look for a homo sapien."

"I believe that Hitomi-chan would want you to move on too."

Koh Zi Hong looked at his father who is driving at the moment and then at Hitomi-chan.

"We are going to have a divorce, it is not you, it is me at fault here."

"Please forgive me, my love…"

Koh Zi Hong threw Hitomi-chan out the car window and into the streets, the car never stopped even for one second, but that was for the better as Koh Zi Hong knew that he would not be able to part with Hitomi-chan.

Hitomi-chan landed on the streets, she is ignored by most people until a car stopped beside the body pillow.

Someone walked down and grabbed Hitomi-chan, he then looked at Koh Zi Hong's car that is speeding away and the mysterious person let out a sigh.

"You did the right choice son, I'm happy that you grow up and left all those cartoons and games of yours behind." Koh Zi Hong's father said happily.

Koh Zi Hong didn't answer his father outright yet his body language betrayed him as he clenched his fist in despair and sadness.

'Even you this so?'

The car stopped in front of a four-story building, Koh Zi Hong's father turned towards his son and told him.

"We are here, have fun."

End of week 56.
