17 Blackout

A flash of white light appeared and disappeared in an instant the classroom, followed by a loud BOOM that blast through everyone eardrums.

"It is so boring listening to the baldy yapping for so long." John Ng complained as his soul wandered off somewhere else.

Lightning streaks across the sky once again, soon an eardrum breaking blast of sound pierced through the clouds after the light faded away.

Pitch black with a faint tinge of white is the only colour that painted the classroom.

"Sir, I'm scared!" From within the darkness, someone shouted.

"I'm also scared." Lim Zhen Cong answered back as the clouds blocked the last rays of light, making the class truly dark.

"Heh heh, now this feels like a murder mystery set up." Koh Zi Hong voice echoes round the room.

"I wonder who will die first."

"Sir, did you forget to pay the electric bill?" Lee Kai Wen's voice could be heard from the front part of the classroom.

"This blackout is caused by the lightning, you idiot…" From the ceiling, Lim Zhen Cong's voice shoots down.

"Who pinch my butt?!" John Ng suddenly shouted as his arms flail round the void.

"Hey, whoever you are don't do it!"

"ARRHHHHH!"

The white light flashed again revealing John Ng lying on the ground with his ass face up in the air.

In an instant, everything returned to darkness as a sense of panic and fear crept into the hearts of everyone in the classroom.

"Who touched me?!"

"EEKKKKK! Go away from me!"

Once more a bright streak cuts through the cloudy sky, revealing the ones that had fallen to the "silent killer" in the classroom.

A boy is now sitting in the corner, his face drained of colour due to the terrifying experience.

On the other hand, a girl tearing up as her friend tries to comfort her to the best of her abilities.

"What had happened just now?" Lee Kai Wen asked himself as he tried to look for any clues in the darkness.

'I felt it just now. There is no mistake that the killer next target is…'

'Me.'

Lee Kai Wen tells himself as he dodges the killer's attack.

'Oh no something tripped me, does the killer have a partner?'

'Well it is no use thinking about this I'm a dead man anyway…'

As if God wants Lee Kai Wen to have no regrets dying, a streak of lightning flashes across the classroom revealing who is the killer.

"There is no one…"

In Lee Kai Wen eyes the moment the light flashed nobody is standing in front of him yet he was one hundred percent sure that there is someone chasing him just now.

When the classroom turns into a void horrifying screams echoes once more.

"Someone save me!"

A loud voice comes from the darkness in front of Lee Kai Wen; soon a rough human figure comes crashing into him.

"John? Isn't he dead?" Lee Kai Wen asks himself.

"I can hear you fucker, plus what I experience is worse than a cold blooded murder." John Ng tells Lee Kai Wen as they stood back up.

Lee Kai Wen lets out a dry laugh then he asked John Ng what had happened to him actually.

Red is the colour on John Ng's face as he blushed, he then moves closer to Lee Kai Wen's ear and whispers something to him.

"Are you sure that it is not actually yourself?" Lee Kai Wen questions John Ng's innocents due to his character.

"I may be a pervert, but I am no masochists." With his most serious face on John Ng told Lee Kai Wen but Lee Kai Wen couldn't see anything due to the darkness.

"There are currently two killers on the loose. Who do you think are the prime suspects?" Lee Kai Wen questions John Ng as he racks his brain to try and figure out the mystery.

"Why can't we use our phone's light to find out?" John Ng said as he took out his phone from his pocket.

He suddenly feels a sharp pain on his wrist the moment he takes out his phone; the pain disappeared when he puts it back.

"Now you know the reason?" Lee Kai Wen asks John Ng who quietly nodded.

"The prime suspects are Lim Zhen Cong and Chong Xi Kang." Lee Kai Wen told John Ng.

"For me is that weird girl who keeps on staring at me, Loh Qi Xuan." John Ng told Lee Kai Wen.

John Ng then dragged Lee Kai Wen across the classroom and said to him. "Actually it is impossible that it is Lim Zhen Cong."

John Ng then switched on the fan while Lim Zhen Cong is still up there; he then set it to the highest power and watched the magic unfolded.

'It is a good thing that I hide up here while that killer is on the loose.' Lim Zhen Cong said to himself as he lets out a giggle.

'Why is the fan moving? Shit, it's them!' That is Lim Zhen Cong's last words to himself after he saw Lee Kai Wen and John Ng flashing pass his eyes as his face smashed into the ground.

"Lim Zhen Cong out, so who's next?" Lee Kai Wen said.

At the same time, another person is also trying to solve the mystery. 'So it is not him, then who could it be?' Goh Jie En asks herself.

'Sitting here is no use I am going to look for clues just like Qi Xuan did.' Goh Jie En then stood up and walks into the void alone.

"Who is it?!" Goh Jie En screamed as soon as she heared the sound of air parting ways.

'It should be a fist, no it is more like a palm!' Goh Jie En told herself while she dodged round the classroom.

"None of your business…" Two voices both male and female whispered on the left and right side of Goh Jie En's body.

"Stay right there we are coming!" Two different voices echoed from within the black space.

"If I wait for you, I will be dead!" Goh Jie En said to the two other voices and started attacking the killers.

"Got you!" Three different voices shouted the same thing as the killers and Goh Jie En got a whole of each other.

'Damn it the wrong target again, this chest is too flat it definitely isn't her. Then I can't act as the hero that saves her from a pervert that is lurking in this classroom.'

'It is too flat so it must be Chong Xi Kang's chest but it is not firm at all then it must be Koh Zi Hong's.'

"Stop groping me you pervert!" Goh Jie En shouted as she tries and kicks whoever is in front of her.

Instead of hurting her enemy someone else caught her leg in midair.

'There is nothing here, no balls or a cock. It must be a girl.'

'I have been hunting for so long and I still can't get that John guy.'

'If it is the wrong target, then it is best if I dispose of it quickly.' Both of the killers tell themselves as they did what they had been doing just now.

"I will kill you!" Goh Jie En didn't fall like the others instead she does a roundhouse kick in hope of catching the killers off guard.

"ARGGH!"

The lights finally came back on as Goh Jie En lets out a victorious war cry.

Three people lay down on the floor; Lee Kai Wen, John Ng and Lim Zhen Cong are now unconscious as foam comes out from their mouths.

"Did I hit the wrong target?" Goh Jie En asks herself as she looked at those three on the floor.

'Damn it, I failed to impress the one I love.'
