Len Hawthorne stopped, and Allen Godfrey didn't think it was necessary to keep fighting him.
Returning to the Godfrey South Gate, Chloe and Austin Godfrey looked over simultaneously.
Both of them were uninjured.
They looked very calm.
But something was off about Len, his face deadlier than Allen's and emitting a sense of rage. He grabbed Chloe's arm and said coldly, "Let's go."
Chloe was shoved into the car without even saying goodbye, and the car sped off quickly, leaving the Godfrey Family grounds.
"You're angry."
What did Allen say to him? His temper had become so poor.
Len Hawthorne clenched the steering wheel and said coldly, "I am not."
"The steering wheel will break if you keep clenching it like that."
Len took a deep breath, smiled helplessly, "Can't you just console me a bit, Little Chloe? I fought that old Godfrey fellow for you."
"I didn't ask you to fight him," Chloe said.
"..."
She shouldn't have expected a little girl to console anyone.
