I endured this torture for a while longer, consoled myself that the old woman was a woman, and began to strain my brain to think of a plan. When I saw the bottles of strange liquids on the shelf fixed to the wall above the sofa where my mother had fallen asleep, I thought for a short while, then took the scalpel from the table and threw it on the shelf.

My plan was to hit one of the two legs holding the shelf up so that all the pills would fall into the gap between the sofa and the wall, distracting the old woman and making her scream for my mother to wake up. It was a somewhat clumsy plan, but one worth trying, although my plans and my skill were not of equal magnitude.

A bottle filled with a strange liquid collided with the scalpel I threw, bounced off the wall and fell on the old woman's head, shattering it. When the old woman saw the green liquid pouring down her forehead, she screamed and ran into the next room. Thinking it was some kind of poison or acid, I was scared out of my wits, and I quickly stepped out of the baby role and used the clothes I was wearing to wipe away the drops that had splashed onto my mother's naked body.

When I saw no abnormalities on my mother's delicate white skin, my worries gradually faded and I went back to bed. If it was some kind of poison that I hadn't noticed, all I could do was hope that the old woman would come back and use a healing spell on my mother. After all, she wasn't just a simple pervert, and to hide what she was doing, she needed to make sure that when the sleeping pills wore off, nothing would arouse my mother's suspicions.

My guess was right and a few minutes later the old woman came crying out of the back room with almost half of her white hair gone. As soon as she came back, she checked my mother's hair, sighed with relief, dressed my mother and quickly went back to the back room. After these actions, it wasn't hard to figure out what the green liquid was, probably some kind of balding medicine.

Inwardly I began to blame myself for my mistake and wondered what I would have done if my mother had gone bald. After a while the blame disappeared and was replaced by hatred and anger. I decided to take my revenge on this old woman sooner or later.

The old woman put on a head covering and checked the stability of the shelf. Satisfied that the shelf was intact, the old woman came over to me, held out both hands towards me and started mumbling something.
