8 A second chance or what?

Slowly and lazily, she opened her eyes, above her were cloud-like objects, purely white in colour without doubt.

Ha-ni managed to get up, she  felt her whole body ache but it was obviously gonna fade in about a while.

She was still in her restaurant cloths, her whole body still intact, but where she was, she couldn't tell.

Looking left, right, up and down, Ha-ni noticed that the place was white, literally everywhere.

No one seemed to be insight, she was the only person there at least.

Massaging her forehead, she could remember violent scenes where she saw a car approaching her and then she paused.

"Where am I?" The words came out as she took a minute or two to recall, had the car hit her? That could possibly be it, then this would only mean one thing

"Am I dead?" The words came, shock in her tone now.

She was interrupted by the trumpet the sounded three times.

She quickly turned, then she saw people heading to a particular direction.

"Where are they going?" She asked herself.

Hesitating for a while. She decided to follow them.

Cluelessly following them she found herself standing in a line.

Peeping forward, she saw the line was long, and she could tell what this was.

" Judgement" she mumured to herself.

She stood patiently, perhaps this was what she wanted, this was the best choice, leaving earth, perhaps she would find joy in the after life.

To her it took about an hour  or more before she was ten people away from being judged.

She sighed, this was it.

"Hey, get in cue!"

She heard someone tell from behind as she turned. Some guy was now standing behind her, she knew this was not his position, people from behind were yelling at him to get off but he didn't seem to be laying attention.

She was stilled turned, staring at him

He now lowered his eyes to meet hers , his cool, smooth eyes questioning.

"What? What are you looking at?"

She shock her head "nothing" she turned now minding her business.

Minutes later, it was her turn to be judged and she stood besides the guy who had cunningly came behind her.

"Name?" The lady in white sitting behind the counter asked.

"Ahn Ha-ni" Ha-ni said nervously bitting her lips.

It took a while to go through some papers before the woman finally said.

"Hell bond"

Her heart sank, hell bond???!!! She was actually going to hell after going through hell on earth??!!

"Pardon? Are you perhaps mistaken? I'm Ha-ni, Ahn Ha-ni, please check my profile correctly before you mistake me"

"You're Ha-ni right, who lost her parents in childhood, stays alone, and got fired from her only source of work , it's you, hell bond"

Ha-ni really wished this was a dream, perhaps a nightmare, but why?

" But why?" She asked but the woman gave her no attention now.

The guy besides her chuckle annoyingly and ended it with a smile that irritated Ha-ni.

"Name?"

"Lee Mung-soon, or Peter" He smirked.

After some checking the woman said Planely.

"Hell bond"

He sighed" oh well, what a pity, can you tell us why?, 'cause my lady here is curious"

He winked at her, it only annoyed her.

"Miss Ahn you committed suicide, Mr Lee, you're a wanted criminal and you caused an accident that caused a life lost, so two of you go," She ordered.

"Sure thing, let's go my lady" he smiled at Ha-ni but she only frowned at him and walked pass him, he ran after her catching up.

"Oh I guess now we're hell mate" he teased.

She said nothing.

"How did you commit suicide? Why? When? Where? "

She stopped and gave him a cold stare. Then continued moving, going to hell was one thing, and going with this guy was another, she thought.

"Okey then, I won't ask" he shrugged." Let's introduce ourselves, I'm peter, you?"

She said nothing but continued moving.

"Ahh you don't want to say, okey, I'll just give you a nickname, hmmm let's see....eh.....er....ah....hmmm.....this is...mmm.....yes that's it, I'll just call you My hell mate"

She stopped, looked at him annoyed, but he only smiled. She knew she couldn't talk with this guy, she only turned walking off.

The train was set, everyone were in and on their seat. The train started and took off into the sky.

Ha-ni considered herself jinked today, that guy was sitting besides him. But luckily he had stopped talking.

She looked outside to the sky through the window contemplating on her life, it had been a rough one, and even get after life was terrible.

Tap tap

She angrily turned to see Peter tapping her on the shoulder "what now?" She asked almost loosing her cool.

"Do you wanna get out of this train?"

She was irritated, what rubbish was this guy saying???!!!

"I've looked around and I know of a way to escape"

"Not interested" she turned back to the window.

"Interested or not, you'll see" she heard him say.

Mung-soon studied the guards and the nature of the place as he smiled. He then raised his hands. A guard came to him.

"What?"

"Errr come closer" he whispered.

Looking around, the guard bent forward."now what?"

He smiled landing a punch on his cheek.

Immediately, guards began zooming in, Mung-soon got up grabbing Ha-ni by the hand willy-nilly, she could have sworn she struggled to escape but to no avail. With the guards at their heels he dragged her off as the made their way through.

Not long they were out of the train and were at the trains back ( sit out with banister) Both of them looked down, clouds covered everywhere, it had no definite destination.

"Are you insane?!" She yelled at him.

"Maybe, yes" he smiled."see you where this path leads my lady" he jumped off the banister into the cloud and out of sight.

She panicked, she heard the guards yelling from behind, if the caught her, they would think she was with Mung-soon, they wouldn't believe her crazy story. Now it seemed that there was only on choice.

"Wherever this path leads me, i don't care, it can't be worse than my situation" closing his eyes she jumped off the train  into the cloud and out of sight....
