3 Preparing for a fight

Jo decided to fight those creatures but before anything he needed to improve his strength, the first thing he did was finding an iron pillar inside the house, he touched the iron pillar and then asked Rona to activate the Particle Analyzer.

Jo: "Wow, i feel a tingling feeling on my hand, i wonder if i can now remove my hand from the pillar"

Rona: "Yes Jo, you can now remove your hand, the analyzing has already began"

Jo: "Cool, how long do i need to wait before i can see the effect of my absorption?"

Rona : "Because of the simplicity of the material, the absorption will take less than 15 minutes, and the DNA changes will happen in 5 minutes, so the total time currently remaining is 20 minutes".

Jo decided to wait until the absorption completes, he simply sat on the stairs and closed his eyes and thought about his family and how much he had missed them.

Jo: "This is amazing, 200 percent increase in defense ?!!, does this mean my body is 3 times stronger than before ?!, maybe with this i really can have a chance against those monsters, no wait, now that i think about it no matter how strong my body has become i still can't imagine killing even one of them, after all i don't even have a weapon that can hurt them".

Jo: "Rona, What happens if i also absorb stone and wood and things like that, will those also increase my defense?"

After that Jo decided to try absorbing all kind of different materials around him, from the stone to the table's wood he absorbed them all.

Jo: "What is this, why is there only a few new effects, there is even a -10% Burn resistance, well i guess thats probably the woods fault, but i thought that absorption only improves me, Rona why did this happen?

Rona: "Absorption tries to improve your DNA, but absorbing materials with similar DNA and molecule structure will lessens the effects, to improve further you either have to find better and stronger material or you have to level up and unlock more powerful sections of the Particle Analyzer such as <Partial Gene Change> which allows you to change the DNA of only part of your body which means you can drastically change that part and for example even make a weapon out of your hand, there is also the <Evolve> which requires level 20 to unlock which allows you to evolve as an species"

Jo: "Wow those sound interesting, by the way Rona, you keep saying the level requirement, does this mean i have a level and hp like in a game?! what is my level?"

Rona: "Yes, you are able to see a summary of all your abilities and level by saying Status or asking me to show them to you.

Rona: "I decided to show you your Status in a way that you are most familiar with and i reached the conclusion that a game's window was the best option"

Jo: "Well i guess thats indeed something i know most about"

Jo: "Rona, when did i become level 10?!, shouldn't i be level 1 or something ?"

Rona: "The monster you killed in your third run was in fact a C Rank monster which you would have needed to grow a lot stronger to be able to kill, but you were successful in killing him accidentally when you both fell off the building"

Jo: "So i got a cheat ?! thats awesome, and now that i think more about it also terrifying!, after all i did die from falling from a 20 floor building!"

Jo: "Are there any more skill i can unlock?, aren't i level 10?, what are my skills ?, what are their requirements?"

Rona: "Every 5 levels you gain one skill and every 20 levels you gain one combat skill or the option to evolve one of your current skills, you need the skill <Higher Knowledge> if you require any more information"

Jo: "So what happens in between, what happens when i level up?"

Rona : "Each level up will increase your base status and you can ask the quantum computer to improve the status of one of you skills, this action is only possible for certain skills and can only be done within one hour of leveling up"

Jo: "Huh, so i guess its too late to try improving my previous skills"

Jo; "I guess i now should know enough about my skills, Rona, whats the fastest way for me to become stronger?"

Rona: "The fastest way is by killing monsters, and leveling up, i suggest you start by killing F Rank monster, i have detected 3 F Rank monster in 2 km south of here"

Jo: "Can i really kill those F Rank monster you are talking about?, they aren't like the ones i have already seen, right ?"

Rona: "No, F Rank monsters are much weaker, but winning or losing only depends on you and your actions Jo, i am only here to assist you"

Jo: "I guess so, Thanks Rona, i should start preparing my self for killing those F Rank monsters"

After that Jo tried his best to find a good weapon but he couldn't find anything better than a kitchen knife and an iron pole, he picked them up and started to go towards where Rona told him he can find the F Rank monsters.
