17 Chapter 14 A Judge for A Battle

Lili walked through the hall in silence and slow step. She wore a long white dress with a pinkish flat shoes, her white hair was covered by the hood of the white robe she wore as an outer. Behind her, walked a girl of 17 with a blonde hair and pinkish eyes called Angie, dressed in a long gray outer with a long sleeves, a white blouse, and a pair of bluish short pants. Angie's white sport shoes stepped on the hall floor without a slightest sound, as if she didn't even step on it.

"Tell me my schedule, Angie."

"Yes, My Lady." Angie bowed a little, then took out a small brown-covered notebook.

"The new semester will start on 17 of the seventh month, about two weeks and two days from now. Hence, after having breakfast at 8, your schedule will be checking the office document. I have sorted them out, today My Lady need to check the 'left papers' and signed several papers for the new branches planned. I estimate it would take four hours at most. On afternoon, lunch would be ready at 2, you could take a look at the academy facilities, it would take two to three hours to checkout the unrestricted area. Dinner would be served at the dorm cafeteria at 5." Angie closed her book while still walking, following her Lady.

"I assume that I have free time after dinner." Lili said as she made a turn to the right on the hall.

"Yes, My Lad—"

"Oi!"

Both Lili and Angie stopped their pace. They turned their head to their left to face whoever called just now. They saw a clean outdoor training ground with seven male students who grinned mischievously toward them.

"My Lady, we should get going. I had Madam Matilda make a serving in the private room, we should not get her waiting for long." Angie whispered close to Lili.

Lili nodded. She just lifted her right foot to continue her pace when a voice calling again.

"Oi! Are you deaf? I'm calling you." A male voice heard. Lili didn't turn her face to look, only Angie did.

"Are you calling for us?" said Angie with a stern and cold tone.

A tall boy with a short crimson hair and a pair of emerald eyes, whom calling just now, nodded proudly. He grinned, "Of course. Come here." He pointed to his front.

Angie didn't like his arrogant behavior, but held it perfectly. "I apologize. We did not know My Lord's identity, thus we need not accept My Lord's invitation."

Angie has already bowed and let Lili continue her pace, but got stopped again.

"Well, a ready-to-lose person must be running away for their life." Angie heard that irritating words, but she held her business-smile firmly while her mind wanted to swallow that arrogant big guy there.

Lili lifted her left hand, not to let Angie bared her fangs. "Just follow what he said. We still have time." Lili smiled gently to calm Angie down.

Angie sighed, could say no more, "As you wish, My Lady." Angie followed Lili, approaching the crimson haired guy.

"You! Have battle with the great me!" said the crimson haired guy with a proud face.

Lili still maintained her thin smile. "May I have your name first, My Lord?"

"Ha. Ha. Ha. You don't know me? The great me?" The guy laughed loudly, followed by the other guy standing around.

"Well, then, I have to deal with that. My name is Breude Mayer Johann, a stage-4 swordman and stage-5 magician, a handsome and cool guy from class 2-A. You know how great I am now, right? Huahahaha…"

Lili bowed a little. "Greetings, Sir Johann, you may call me Lili and this is Angie." By the way, Johann family did a fabric business and had a quite well reputation. "What is Sir Johann's objective for having battle with us?"

"But of course, to make the great me even greater!"

'This arrogant brat…!' Angie really wanted to do an uppercut to shut that Breude guy up.

"My apologies, I am not in the condition for battle right now." Lili bowed a little to apologize.

"Nah… I'm aiming that chick behind 'cha!"

Angie grinned a little and whispered to Lili, "May I, My Lady?"

Lili knew what will happen, but only could sigh and nod.

Angie and Breude faced each other within three meters of distance. Lili was standing between them. Both Angie and Breude smirked as if they have already known the final result.

"Well, then, I will be the judge. Be sure to agree on every rule I stated." Lili said as her hands stretched opened.

Angie and Breude swallowed by a big bluish ball and disappeared, then appeared a hologram plate in front of Lili. "I casted a holographic dimensional space, thus you would not have to worry about the surrounding because it is a created space."

Both Angie and Breude nodded as they have known the situation of a sudden change of place.

Lili turned to the other male students who was standing still, watching. "If you want to watch, then stand closer… okay, Angie, Sir Johann, I will state the rule."

"One, you may use whatever within your power, but no other weapon than spear and sword, also no physical attack like punching, grabbing wrist, and others. Two, the order is to battle until one of the opponent surrender. Three, if you want to surrender, please said it loudly that you have surrendered. Four, no play dirty or there will be a penalty. Now, battle begin!"

"Shall we start, rude senpai?" Angie grinned as she stretched her right hand to her front and appeared a silver spear out of nowhere within her grasp.

Breude didn't even flinch, guess he has already seen that kind of move. "How sweet to have called me with a nickname."

Breude chuckled as he made his spear appeared out of the earth, "But…" He giggled.

Fuss…

Breude vanished from the sight with no trace.

"Talk less, move more…" A whisper came from behind Angie and a sound of a sharp metal real close to her right ear.

"!" Angie spontaneously jumped away to avoid whatever came from behind her just now.

"Tch, what an active little birdie." Breude seemed unsatisfied.

"Good move, Senpai. Here, a feedback!" Angie vanished from the sight and suddenly closed up to Breude.

Clang…!

Both Angie and Breude's spears clashing each other. Breude grinned in excitement while Angie puffed her cheeks in dissatisfaction. They were really close to each other, there was thumping sounds full of adrenaline. It looked dangerous for a normal opponents clashing each other again and again with a sharp side of the spear which looked like it could pierce through their skin in any moment if there were just any wrong movement.

"Wah… what an interesting opponent." Lili said with her hand clapping in satisfaction.

"What? Why?" One of the male students sitting beside Lili, watching the duel, asked. That guy called Steven from Boston house, he was the one who brought the long bench, enough for four people to sit on. By the way, Boston family was a jewelry maker family where even the royal would be satisfied with only Bostons' first jewelry shown before their face.

Lili replied without having her eyes gazed from the hologram view, "Angie never had any opponent in the same level as she is, thus she always be proud on her skill. Basically, she believed that no one could defeat her."

"I guess I get it. Well, same as that Breude, he always full of himself. But, I think he changed a little after he saw that girl two days ago." Another guy, named Jackson, added.

"Ehem, should we assume there will be a spring coming later?" Another guy who standing behind Lili, named Stephen, said with a big grin on his face.

"Well, yes."

"Should be."

"By all means."

"Awesome!"

All of them cheered excitedly while the two people in topic were baring their fangs fiercely toward each other.

"Hey… aren't they taking too long?"

"Who cares? Maybe their SP are too much to begin with." (SP = Stamina Point. Point for fatigue endurance)

The hologram plate became wider and bigger as the audience behind Lili and guys began to become crowder than before. Most of it consisted of male students, but there were also several female students whom interested. The battle become like a show where a lot were betted on it and cheered for them.

"Well, Senpai… aren't your SP too high?" said Angie while clashing her spear, combined with a fireball magic spell. She looked exhausted.

Angie

SP : 13/350

Breude avoided it successfully and threw ice element needles. "Na-ah, your SP was just too low, Little Birdie."

Breude

SP : 759/…

Angie kneeled on earth in exhaustion, her entire clothes were wet in sweat. She puffed her cheeks, upset, "Ish…! I hate a failure!" She threw her spear angrily as she clicked her tongue.

"Well," Breude drove his spear into the land beside him. "shall we end this battle and admit your loss?"

Breude kneeled with his left knee on earth, he held Angie's chin. "I'll teach you how to win later. What do you say?"

Angie stunned, the angry Angie disappeared to the air, as if she was drowned into the depth of Breude's emerald eyes. But, Angie regained her consciousness immediately and pushed Breude away within a certain distance from herself. Angie turned her face to the other side and sighed with a slightly reddish cheeks.

"Well… I surrender."

Swung…

Both Angie and Breude back to the earth. They posed exactly like the last hologram view.

Breude stood, bashed by the sunlight, looked like a cool hero.

"Rude… sama…" Angie mumbled with a low voice that even Breude, that only stood about twenty centimeters from her, could not hear it.

Breude stretched his left hand out. "Come on, stand."

Angie took the hand. Breude pulled Angie easily with a big grin on his face.

Lili clapped her hands with a thin smile on her face. She walked forward, approaching Angie and Breude. She held Breude's left arm high and declared, "Sir Johann win!"

"WOOOOAAAHHHHH!!!" An all out cheers heard like a whole stadium worth of audience's.

"Well, that's a good game, Senpai. I am honored." Angie bowed a little, but her SP was too low that dizziness struck her immediately.

Breude held the falling Angie just in time. Angie half-held, looked up to Breude whom holding her. "The honor is mine, My Lady."

Angie's face slightly redden as she stood with her own two feet with Breude who still held her arm, be on guard.

"Oya… by the way, why that girl with you could make the holographic dimensional space? It's not an ordinary skill." Breude said abruptly as he walked side by side while holding Angie, following Lili whom had walked ahead with the other guys.

Angie looked at Lili's back, smiled gently. "Well, she has a rare noble title, The Judge."

"Oo…"

"Hm? What did you say?"

Angie furrowed her right eyebrow, "She has a rare noble title, The Judge." Angie repeated.

"What?!" Breude's eyes widened in surprise.

Angie tilted her head, "What is it?"

Breude glanced at Angie with a horrifying face. "You don't know?!"

"By the way, your face is terrifying. Quit it." Angie said with a stern tone.

"Mind that later. 'The Judge'? That rare noble of the twenty-two rare noble title?"

Angie nodded, "Yes and please speak clearly. You are blabbing, why did you repeat the same words?"

Breude stopped, he held Angie's shoulders. "Angie, it is a 'rare noble title'!"

"Then?"

"It is super freaking rare title, Angie!"

"I received the title 'The Justice' and you have a title 'The Sun', what nonsense are you talking about?"

"… I have?" Breude stunned in confusion.

"You do not know?" Angie eyes looked up, then added. "Well, many do not their title either. There were several rare noble titled people in this academy. I will tell you next time if we encountered some WUAHH…"

Angie felt surprised, "Hey, put me down this instant."

Breude was carrying Angie in his arms. Breude gave a big smile, "Na-ah, you're slow. We could lose our breakfast if you're walking with your own two feet."

"But, Senp-AAIII!" Breude ran with a high speed. Angie could not said any word more. She could only hold to Breude's shoulder, well, no.

Angie put her arm around Breude's neck. "D-do not get a wrong idea! I just do not want to fall." Angie stuttering in embarrassment.

Breude grinned, "Well, hold on tight!"
