3 It's You

JAY'S POV

"Secretary Jane! Can you get us some drinks first," I said and she went out to get some juice. I approached Eliel who was sitting on the couch while playing with the pen in his hand. I sat across from him and crossed my legs.

"Are you! What are you up to?" I asked and he looked at me.

"About what?" he says. Secretary Jane arrived carrying the juice.

"If you're asking again about - - - -"

"Aren't you coming back yet?" Secretary Jane suddenly asked as she placed the juice on the table between Eliel and me. Then he sat down next to me.

"Are you too, Secretary Jane?" Eliel said softly.

"It's different if you are the one who run the business." she said and I suddenly looked at her. "But that doesn't mean I don't like Jay's management. It's really different if you are here."

"How long will you really take the break?" I said to change the conversation a little and not to focus on me. He stood up and walked around the office.

"Why don't you want to be here in my office anymore?" he said ugly.

"Don't you miss your office?" I said jokingly. He looked outside as if deep in thought. Suddenly my phone rang so I went out first to answer it.

ELIELZAR'S POV

I saw from the reflection of the mirror in front of me that Jay had left the office. Secretary Jane approached me.

"So when are you coming back again, Eli?" she asked me.

"I also miss you calling me that," I said jokingly and she laughed. "I think I want to come back right away!" she stared at me as if she knew exactly what I was thinking.

"It's only been a month before your inauguration. Maybe you're done with what you're doing?"

She really knows what I do because since I worked here, Mama gave me to her. She taught me everything and she knew everything but she just didn't let me know. Even about Aiz she already knew. She knows all my office and personal transaction.

"Now that you've found her, maybe it's time for you to come back." she added.

I turned my back and I saw Aiz coming back to her desk while singing. After watching her, I looked back at what I had been staring at outside.

"Just give me a little time, Noona! I just want to fix everything." I said.

"I think it's time for you to comeback!" said the voice and I turned around I saw Jay with Mama. "How long will you - - - -"

"I'll just come back next time, Noona!" I said to Secretary Jane. I took Jay's coat that was hanging and put my shade back on. I was about to go out when Mommy spoke again.

"How long will you insult me?" he said that was the reason I stopped opening the office door. "It's been years ago, Eliel!"

"I'm not rude to you, Ma. I just want you to give me some time to settle all the things you've messed up years ago." and I finally left the office.

When I came out, I saw Aiz looking at me in shock but he did not recognize me. I walked away. I felt as if Secretary Jane had followed me.

"Eli," he said softly and I stopped.

CHAIZER'S POV

Suddenly a man came out of Sir Jay's office in the shade. He looked at me and so did I. He seemed to want to tell me something. For a few seconds he stared at me and walked away. Mars came out next and I would have asked her who the man just came out but I lost the opportunity because she was in a hurry to chase it. I saw a person inside Sir Jay's office from outside. A woman with her back turned and talking to Sir Jay. About a few minutes Sir Jay came out. I immediately informed him that I was leaving.

"Sir Jay? I was about to leave - - -" I said and he just nodded and hurried to walk.

I arranged my belongings so that I could leave and go to Sami's school. While I was arranging my belongings, the woman suddenly came out of Sir Jay's office. Why do these people suddenly appear? They've been like this before, ah. Suddenly the woman stopped walking and turned to me. She stared at me from head to toe.

"May I know you're name? I think I've seen you before," she said and removed the shade she was wearing.

"I'm Chaizer Delos Reyes, Ma'am." I said and she approached me which makes me surprised.

"It's you!"

"Huh?"

I do not know where she saw me but why does she seem to know me so well?

"Nice to meet you, again!" she said and I got goose bumps.

But wait, why again? Has she seen me yet? But where?

After that she walked away. I was left wondering what she was saying. But his face seemed familiar to me. I seem to have seen her but I do not know where and when.

"Aiz?" Mars said who just coming back. "Are you alright?"

"Huh! O- - -o - -!" I just said and went back to myself.

She sat in her chair as if nothing had happened during these commissions. So I just did not ask her about the incident earlier and continued arranging my belongings so that I could leave.

"Are you leaving?" she simply asked.

"Yes," I said and took the files that Sir Jay had given me earlier and put them in my bag. "I'll just finish it at my house. I'll just pass it tomorrow." then I said goodbye to Mars and finally walked away.

When I got out of the office I immediately went to the elevator to ride down to the ground floor. It was right and it opened and I was already on board. When it closed, a man suddenly entered and the elevator door closed. It was so silent in our entire surroundings until one by one someone boarded and filled the elevator. We all huddled inside. I face the man whom I enter with earlier. We were like that for a few minutes and when we reached the 2nd floor, the passengers left one by one. When we reached the ground floor I went out while the man with me was still left. Suddenly my phone rang and I answered it immediately

"Hello!"

"Where are you Aiz?" Teacher Kim who is Sami's adviser, asked me.

"I think I'll be late a little, Maam. I just got out of our office now. I just send someone there to pick up Sami temporarily." I said while looking for a ride. "All right, Ma'am." I dropped the call and took a jeep to Sami's school.

ELIELZAR'S POV

After what happened in the office I immediately left the company. By the way, I am Elielzar Dela Cruz, one of the owners of Dayvess Company. A playboy, has a thought of I can get everything I want, and an arrogant man. I changed girlfriends based on what I like. But one woman calmed me down and woke me up in the reality.

On the other hand, I was going to my niece's school that I had not seen in years. My last meeting with him was when I left to States. When I arrived at their room I saw him just on the side as if waiting for someone while the other children were busy going to their respective parents.

"Sami!" I shouted to get his attention and I got it. He approached me.

"Who are you?" he asked me in surprise.

"It's me!" I said and suddenly his teacher approached me.

"Who are they?" Teacher Kim asked, I saw on her nameplate.

"Good Afternoon, Maam. By the way I'm - - - - -"

"Ah! You are the one Aiz is referring to who will temporarily take Sami first because she will be late. She said she just leave their office." I didn't finish what I was going to say because Teacher Kim had already stepped in.

I was about to say something when Sami suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room.

"I'm hungry!" he said while holding his stomach.

I said goodbye to his teacher and loaded Sami. We went to the canteen to buy him food and I just bought ice cream for myself. Then we went to the playground to sit there. While he was eating he suddenly asked me.

"Are you my Noona's boyfriend?" he asked.

"Who's Noona?" I asked and suddenly I remembered the name that Teacher Kim mentioned earlier in the classroom.

"Ate Aiz," he said.

Sami is big and he is eight years old now. When I left to States, he was only 2 months old that time and I can't believe that he will be look like this. That's the time I broke up with Aiz. Actually, we did not have an official break up because she did not officially break up with me. After that night of our 3rd anniversary, she never talked to me and cut all my connections to her. She just only saw me with another girl in the restaurant which was one of her part time job's place.

"Yes, I'm his boyfriend!" I just said. "Be - - - -"

"But where is Noona? You're supposedly with her." he said as the food was scattered on his face.

"She will be here soon," I said.

This kid is terrible! I can't believe he was just eight years old. The way he talks to me is like his older than me. He really looks like his mother, my Ate. He also seems to have inherited this trait from her.

"Just finish your - - - - -"

"Sami!" I did not finish what I was about to say when someone suddenly shouted behind us calling Sami. Sami turned around.

"Noona!" Sami shouted and ran towards Aiz. I know it's Aiz who came because Sami has no one else to call Noona but only her. I just wiped out my pants because of the ice cream waste before I turned my head up and give Sami's bag.

"Mister, thank you - - - -"

"It's just okay!" I could not finish what I would say when suddenly I raised my head from bowing earlier.

She also stop suddenly when she saw me. I can't believe that I were this close again for how many years had passed. After all these years and finally I've seen her closely. She freezes as if she saw a ghost.

"Aiz!" I said softly and she came back to reality.

"Huh?" she said "Hello!" she added while her hands are shaking.

On her back, I saw Chris approaching to us. When she about to take Sami's bag, I saw how she was shock as if her knees weaken which the reason almost fell off. I was about to reach out of her hands but Chris got it first.

"Are you okay, Chai?" Chris said to Aiz and she got up hurriedly.

"I'm okay!" she said

"Are you sure?" Chris asked her again while he was staring badly at me. A stare who dares to fight. So I stare at him like that also.

"Uy! Chris, you're here already?" Aiz said and tap his back. Chris feel some pain just based on his facial expression. "Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you." Aiz added and she give Sami's bag to Chris and they left totally.

"Aiz - - - " I was about to say something to her but Chris looked at me again with that stare before. Few seconds then he follows them.

I followed with my eyes looking to them until they got out from the school premises. Aiz give Sami to Chris and she walks fast ahead from them. It was drown from her face the angriness she felt before. I still can't get out the looks of her eyes from my head. The eyes of a girl who have lots of resentment. Her eyes was still the same as after she saw me that night in the restaurant.

"Chai, wait for us!" I heard Chris shouting while chasing Aiz with big steps.

"She never change," I said to myself.
